경상북도 경산시 사정동 성암산에서 발견된 국내 미기록종, Sedum makinoi를 보고한다. 이 종은 꽃이 달리는 줄기에서 잎이 대생하고, 잎은 편평하며 원형인 특징으로 국내에 분포하는 Seda-genuina절의 다른 종과는 뚜렷이 구별된다. 이 종은 형태적 특징과 도해 및 생태 사진을 제시하였다.

한반도 서남해안에서 나문재속에 속하는 한반도 미기록식물 1종을 발견하여 보고한다. 이 종의 형태적 특징과 서식지 등에 대해 기술하였다. 이 종은 국내에 분포하는 나문재속의 다른 종과는 얇고 넓은 잎과 별 모양의 열매 형태에서 뚜렷이 구별된다.

대구광역시 팔공산에서 국화과 참취속의 1종인 Aster hispidus var. lleptocladus를 발견하여 긴쑥부쟁이로 명명하였다. 일본의 사문암지대에 유존적으로 분포하는 일본 고유종으로 알려져 온 긴쑥부쟁이는 모종인 갯쑥부쟁이와는 하부 경생엽이 좁고 선형이며 예두로써 털이 없으며, 두화와 총포의 지름이 좁고, 통상화의 관모 길이가 1-2 mm인 점이 다르다.

While conducting a floristic study of Korean hepatics, we discovered two unrecorded species, which were collected from wind holes near the Donggang River, Korea. Mannia fragrans (Balb.) Frye & L. Clark and Mannia androgyna (L.) A. Evans are hereby reported for the first time in Korea. M. androgyna is characterized by pale grayish oil bodies in both the aerenchyma and basal tissue, and saccate spores with a conspicuous proximal disc. M. fragrans is characterized by a gynoecial segment with a whitish apical brush of scales, a commonly aromatic smell, and areolate spores with a conspicuous proximal disc. Two unrecorded species are described and illustrated based on Korean material.

A study searching for unrecorded and taxonomically undescribed indigenous species has been conducted since 2006. Samples were collected from many sites in coastal waters and offshore in Korea as well as around Jeju Island. Since 2008 we have found 13 unrecorded species belonging to family Diplopsaliaceae, Heterocapsaceae, Kolkwitziellaceae, Protoperidiniaceae and Thoracosphaeraceae. The species are as follows, Preperidinium meunieri (2014), Heterocapsa ovata (2015), H. pseudotriquetra (2015), Diplopsalis lenticula (2008), Protoperidinium abei (2009), P. diabolus var. longipes (2010), P. depressum (synonym: P. parallelum (2008)), P. latispinum (2016), P. punctulatum (2010), P. solidicorne (synonym: P. spinosum (2010)), P. subpyriforme (2010), P. pacificum (2013), Scrippsiella hexapraecingula (2009) (note; The numbers in parenthesis refer to the year that the species was reported as unrecorded indigenous species by National Institute of Biological Resources, NIBR hereafter). Among these, 5 species were described as newly recorded species in Korean waters, and 8 were re-described in this study.

In this study, we described and illustrated an unrecorded species from the Korean flora, Sciaphila nana Blume, which is included in the order Pandanales and the family Triuridaceae. This taxon was found at Mul Oreum in Namwon-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province for the first time in Korea. The order Pandanales can be distinguished from the order Liliales by the anomocytic or tetracytic stomata and syncarpous or apocarpous gynoecia of the Pandanales. The family Triuridaceae and the other four taxa in the Pandanales, Cyclanthaceae, Pandanaceae, Stemonaceae, and Velloziaceae, are easily distinguished because the Triuridaceae are microtrophic herbs with scaly leaves. S. nana has a subulate style with a glabrous apex, ovate to narrow ovate leaves and bracts, male perianth segments with a knob-like structure at the apex, and a dimorphic perianth. Therefore, it is easily distinguished from S. tenella, S. multiflora, S. secundiflora, S. thaidanica, S. ramosa, and S. arfakiana.

Two unrecorded marine nematode species, belonging to genus Paracanthonchus Micoletzky, 1924, are described on the basis of the specimens collected from rocky intertidal seagrass bed on the eastern coast of Korea. Paracanthonchus macrodon (Ditlevsen, 1918) is characterized by presence of cuticular differentiation, strongly dilated gubernaculum with numerous cusps, three post-cloacal setae, and arrangement of six (4+2) precloacal supplement. Paracanthonchus kamui Kito, 1981 is distinguished from other species of the genus by having the 4.25 turns amphideal fovea, six tubular supplement, rib-shaped gubernaculums with proximally hook-shaped and distally broaden. In this study, we provide taxonomic description and illustration of two unrecorded species of the genus Paracanthonchus by differential interference contrast microscopy. This is the first report on the species of the genus Paracanthonchus from Korea.

A total of 149 species and 209 strains of Korean Aphyllophorales in Seoul National University Fungus Collection (SFC) were analyzed by taxonomic and phylogenetic methods. Among those examined fungal specimens, 9 genera Abundisporus, Antrodiella, Cyphellopsis, Dendrothele, Dichomitus, Laxitextum, Piloderma, Skeletocutis and Tubulicrinis, and 23 species, Abundisporus fuscopurpureus, Antrodiella semisupina, Auriporia pileata, Cantharellus subalbidus, Clavulina cinerea, Cyphellopsis confusa, Dendrothele acerina, Dichomitus campestris, Haplotrichum aureum, Heterobasidion annosum, Hyphoderma argillaceum, Hyphodontia tropica, Inonotus dryophilus, Ischnoderma benzoinum, Laxitextum bicolor, Phanerochaete radicata, Phellinus lonicericala, Piloderma byssinum, Skeletocutis nivea, Tomentella terrestris, Trametes elegans, Trametes tenuis, and Tubulicrinis accedens were confirmed as new to Korea and registered here with descriptions.

동충하초 속에 속하는 균류로 여겨지는 40여 개체의 표본을 관찰한 결과 6종의 한국산 미기록종이 동정되었기에 보고하는 바이다. 미기록 종은 벌유충 동충하초(Cordyceps alboperitheciata), 파리 동충하초(Cordyceps discoideocapitata), 균핵 동충하초(Cordyceps intermedia), 검은 동충하초(Cordyceps nigrella), 붉은 동충하초(Cordyceps roseostromata), 딱정벌레 동충하초(Cordyceps scarabaeicola) 등이다. 여기에 인용된 표본은 서울대학교 미생물학과 표본실에 보관되어 있다.

한반도 중부지방의 강변을 따라 생육하는 부추속(부추과) 1분류군을 국내 미기록종으로 보고한다. 이 분류군은 지금까지 중국에만 분포하는 것으로 알려졌던 Allium longistylum Baker로서, 국내 생육지의 특성을 고려하여 국명을 '강부추로' 신청하였다. 이 분류군에 대한 형태적 특징을 기재하였고, 도해 및 생태 사진을 제시하였다.
