For data analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Tukey test, Multiple regression were performed using SAS ver.9.4 (SAS Institute Inc., Cary, NC, USA). Results: Authentic leadership (${\beta}=.12$, p=.008) and relation-oriented culture (${\beta}=.13$, p=.009) affected the intention of the hospital nurses to stay. These variables accounted for 29% of the variance in the intention to stay among hospital nurses. Conclusion: The finding of this study shows that the authentic leadership and nursing organizational culture especially relation-focused can influence nurses' intention to stay in their current position. For retaining nurses, it is suggested to use an authentic leadership training program for nursing leaders and to make efforts to establish a relation-focused culture in the hospital.

Method: Using a convenient sampling, 450 nurses from 9 secondary or tertiary university hospitals in B metropolitan city were selected. The hospital information system utilization was positively correlated with personal information utilization skill, information-oriented education, attitude toward computer, and support of the chief manager, while as negatively correlated with the organizational atmosphere. The causal factors of influencing on the hospital information system utilization were personal information technology, education experience of the hospital information system, age, attitude toward computers, education level and support of the chief manager. The total eigenvalue of the variables was 38%. The major variables of influencing on the hospital information system utilization were the personal information technology and education experience of the hospital information system. The purpose of this study is to investigate determinants of intent to use a wireless information technology(WIT) of University Hospital Nurses. The independent variables used in the study are usefulness, compatibility, social environment, perceived readiness, technical readiness, organizational readiness and socio-demographic characteristics. The dependent variable is the intent to use a wireless information technology(WIT). The sample used in this study consisted of 297 nurses selected from a university hospital located in Wonju, Gangwon-do, Korea Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of the study revealed that 5 independent variables of usefulness, compatibility, perceived readiness, technical readiness, and organizational readiness were found to have significant effects on the nurses' intent to use a WIT. As a conclusion, it is important to make organizational, clinical, and technical environment WIT-friendly prior to applying WIT to hospital nurses. In addition, it is also important to provide an education and training for nurses to improve their skill of using WIT and to make the new WIT compatible with the existing nursing information system.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the wage structure of hospital nurses in Korea and to analyze the factors that determine the level of nurses' wages. Methods: First, a mobile survey on nurses' wages was conducted with a total of 3,742 nurses working in hospitals. A literature review was also done. Second, a regression model was applied to analyze the determinants of nurses' wages. Results: The average monthly wage of 3,742 nurses based on the survey was KRW 3,588,000 and the standardized monthly income of 3,742 nurses was estimated to be KRW 3,364,000 as of the end of 2018. The results of regression analysis(R2=61.7%) showed that gender, nursing experience, designated night duty, ownership, and number of beds were statistically significant variables for nurses' wages at 1% significance level. The monthly wage of nurses working in total nursing care wards was not significantly different from those working in other wards at 5% significance level. Conclusion: The substantial difference in nurses' wages according to job career, hospital size, region, etc may result in the low proportion of nurses with more than three to five years of service experience and the high turnover of less-experienced workers. Consideration should be given to adjust the gap in wage level and a standard nurse wage system could be effective measures.

1) Purpose : The purpose of this research is to identify the trend of job stress of hospital nurses based on last 10 years of domestic research and to suggest directions for systematic future research. 2) Methodology : 101 studies between 2006 and 2016 were selected using key words such as registered nurse and job stress from Academic Information Service(Riss4u), the National Assembly Library and Korean studies Information Service System(KISS). 3) Findings : The researches on job stress of hospital nurses were increasing. The result showed that job stress increased for shift nurses. Especially, nurses of small-medium sized hospital showed remarkable effects to organization such as turnover intention. In addition, although the importance of approach to management is emphasized, there is little research on these aspects. 4) Practical Implications : It is necessary to develop systematic research on job stress directly effecting turnover intention of hospital nurses from hospital management aspect. The development of job stress measuring tools reflecting the characteristics of the medical institution, and the human resources management plan to resolve the imbalance in manpower for nurses should be required.
Purpose: This study was to examine the relationship between recovery experience and the burnout among hospital nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used. The participants were 281 nurses working at three general hospitals located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The data were collected by convenience sampling using self-reported questionnaires that consisted of general characteristics, burnout, recovery experiences, self-efficacy, social support, job demand and organizational system. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Stepwise multiple regression showed that organizational system had the greatest impact on hospital nurses' burnout, followed by job demand, self efficacy, position and recovery experience. Conclusion: Recovery experience is found to be a new factor that influences the burnout among hospital nurses. Therefore, further research is needed for confirming that recovery experience influences the burnout of hospital nurses. Also there is a need to develop a program to increase recovery experience from job stress at the organizational level to reduce hospital nurses' burnout.
As a cross-sectional study, this study was aimed to investigate and compare the job efficiency and satisfaction of nurses according to the hospital grade. Survey was conducted by mail on June 2009, and the respondents were 1,016 nurses working in 15 hospitals which are 9 high-grade general hospitals and 6 general hospitals. The percent of nurses acknowledging their hospital grades is 34.5%, and that is 20.5% at high-grade general hospitals. As the result of review of studies, it is concluded that under the circumstance that differential rates are contracted to calculate fees for hospital services and copayment of patients are according to nursing grades and hospital grades, the degree of nurses' awareness of insurance fees impact on their performance like recording of care and prescription. In order to improve nurses' performance, they need to be educated about the national insurance fee system. In hospitals with higher nursing grade and more beds, the levels of nursing quality and faithfulnes and their job satisfaction were higher. Nurses' awareness of their hospital nursing grade was related to the quality of nursing but not the faithfulness. Nurses working in higher nursing-grade hospital are more self-respect and satisfied at their jobs, and their job efficiencies are not significantly different. The current nursing fees based on the proper number of nurses per beds of nursing units should be changed to be based on the amount of job per nurse by their nursing protocol, and the nurse staffing standard should be differentiated between nursing grades. As the aspect of nursing, 24-hours patient care, it is difficult to improve nurses' job satisfaction, and in the other hand, that tends to depend on their income level. In the current circumstance, comprehensive research is required to investigate the propriety of 25% of the inpatient fees as the nursing management charge.

Result: The influencing factors for organizational commitment of hospital nurses were job satisfaction, position, total clinical career, and negative emotion. These variables explained 56.6% of the variance of the organizational commitment. Conclusion: These results indicate that improving job satisfaction is the best way to enhance nurses' organizational commitment and thus, a need to improve the job satisfaction of hospital nurses.
