This study investigates empirically the export competitiveness of Korea and Japan in America by calculating 4 indexes such as market share index(MSI), export similarity index(ESI), market comparative adventage index(MCAI) and market share expansion ratio(MSER)-export similarity deepening ratio(ESDR). The empirical finding of this analysis shows that Korea is competitive in the labor-intensive products and Japan in the technology-intensive products. This result also meets the general understandings that Japan is superior to Korea in the export competitiveness such as value added of goods, etc. Therefore, in order to strengthen the export competitiveness of Korea in the US market, it's desirable for our firms and government to improve the quality of product ranges by developing technologies focused on the higher value-added products.

Purpose This paper tired to identify the consumers' tendency with individual features and social influence as the independent variables because of the importance of identifying the various needs of financial consumers in accordance with the expansion of new financial demands. Furthermore, this paper included the relative attraction of Fintech and switching cost from mobile banking to Fintech as the variables. Design/methodology/approach To analyze the empirical study, data was collected online by conducting the questionnaire survey with 247 individuals who had used the Fintech service. The study results would provide us with the understandings of the factors influencing on the customer satisfaction and switching value recognized by consumers in case of switching from the existing mobile banking to the Fintech service. Findings The results would provide useful implications to the academic and the practical fields including the Fintech enterprises expanding the activation of Fintech industry.

The importance of service quality in any service industry cannot be disputed. Shippers have increased expectations concerning the quality of shipping service they receive and carriers are struggling to meet these expectations. This struggle between shipper and carriers would suggest that there is room to improve much more understandings of how shipper define shipping service quality in the carriers' perspectives. This is an empirical investigation and study on the measurement of customer response and service quality as perceived by customer in the international transportation logistics system. The purpose of this study is to clarify factors of shipping service quality on the basis of service marketing concept. In order to fulfill the objectives, this paper combined research tools that include both empirical study and documentary research. Data was gathered from 132 freight forwarder by the use of questionnaire. In this study, the established hypotheses were generated on the basis of the service quality evaluation model(SERVQUAL, SERVPERF, and EP) and Gap model.

소규모 비즈니스의 창업과정에서 가장 기본적인 것은 해당 사업지의 상권에 대한 명확한 분석과 이해가 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 현재 소상공인 포털사이트에서 제공하는 상권분석 시스템의 특징을 분석하여, 이에 대한 보완점을 제시하고 다양한 분석을 통해 정보의 사용자가 쉽게 이해하고 판단할 수 있는 의사결정 지원 기능에 대한 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

Studies on cavitation instabilities of hydrofoils and cascades are reviewed to obtain fundamental understandings of the instabilities observed in turbopump inducers. Most of them are based on the stability analysis of two-dimensional inviscid cavitating flow. The most important finding of the analysis is that the cavitation instabilities depend only on the mean cavity length. For a hydrofoil, the characteristic length is the chord length and partial/transitional cavity oscillation occurs with shorter/longer cavity than 75% of the chord length. For cascades, the characteristic length is the blade spacing and various modes of instabilities are predicted when the mean cavity is longer than 65% of the spacing. In the last part, rotating choke is shown to occur when the cavity becomes longer than the spacing.

The purpose of this study is to identify students' alternative frameworks about tide concept, to investigate some characters of them and students' understanding types with increasing grade in secondary school earth science course. The objective questionnaire method was used, and the subjects of this study are 528 students selected randomly in secondary school. The results are as follow. 1) Thirteen alternative frameworks about tide concept, related to the phase change of the moon and the motion of the earth are identified. 2) The alternative frameworks needed mechanical and causal reasoning have the trend reinforced or sophisticated with increasing the grade. And alternative frameworks needed phenomenal and mechanical, phenomenal and causal reasoning are changed little but ones needed phenomenal, variative and basic reasoning change scientifically. The rates of the alternative frameworks needed definitional, empirical, phenomenal reasoning decrease at the learning grade of that concept but increase after that grade. 3) Middle school students have the definitional, phenomenal, empirical and qualitative understanding types but high school students have the causal, analytic, quantitative and mechanical ones on tide concept.

This study describes the postinstallation maintenance technology of artificial reefs and their improvement. The maintenance technology of artificial reefs consists of four steps; the investigation of volumes of installed reefs, the removal of fishing gears entangled in reefs, the estimation of reef functions, and the establishment of surveyed results in the data base. The proper understandings of their steps is the key to improve the maintenance technology of artificial reefs.

This study investigates empirically the job satisfaction and turnover awareness of the R&D manpower working in company research laboratory. Through the analysis of 106 questionnaires and individual depth interview with R&D manpower who is evaluated as cove researcher in research lab., this study obtains the practical informations on the understandings of their workplace and the extend of turnover awareness etc. The result shows that the many researchers have turnover-minded to improve job stability and develop their career. They think themselves as a cove competent person, but their performances aye not recognised by the organization as they expected level. And the result indicates that many of them haven't find their visions in the workplace.

In contrast to animals, plants do not have a circulatory system as well as mobile immune cells that allow them to protect themselves against pathogens. Instead, plants exclusively depend on the innate immune system to defend against pathogens. As typically observed in the animal innate immunity, plant immune responses are composed of pathogen detection, defense signaling which includes transcriptional reprogramming, and secretion of antimicrobial compounds. Although knowledge on recognition and subsequent signaling of pathogen-derived molecules called elicitors is now expanding, the mechanisms of how these immune molecules are excreted are yet poorly understood. Therefore, current understandings of how plants secrete defense products especially via exocytosis will be discussed in this review.

This paper offers an analysis of how students reasoned with the dynamic parameter time to support their mathematical activity and deepen their understandings of mathematical concepts. This mathematical thinking occurred as they participated in a differential equations class before, during, and instruction on solutions to linear systems of differential equations. Students participated in the following identified mathematical practices related to parametric reasoning during this time period: reasoning simultaneously in a qualitative and quantitative manner, reasoning by moving from discrete to continuous imaging of time, and reasoning by imagining the motion. Examples of this reasoning are provided in this report. Implications of this research include the possibility that instructional activities can build on this reasoning to help students learn about the mathematics of change at the middle school, high school, and the university.
