Ubiquitous computing(UC) is an emerging paradigm. Its arrival as a mainstream is expected to trigger innovative UC-driven business models (UCBMs). Currently, there is no Parsimonious methodology to analyze and provide diagnostics for UCBMs. With this research, we propose a analytical architecture that enables the assessment of an UCBM in its structural strengths and weaknesses. With value logic as the cornerstone, the architecture is composed of value actors, value assets, value context, business value Propositions, customer value propositions, value creation logics, and value assumptions. Dimensional variables are initially Identified based on the review of business model literature. Then, their significance is empirically examined through 14 UCBM scenarios, and variables that are expected to Play an important role in the UCBM assessment are decided. Finally, by analyzing the scenarios in terms of the dimensional variables, we attempted to summarize general characteristics of emerging UCBMs.

RFID는 새로운 컴퓨팅 패러다임으로 대두되는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있는 인터페이스 기술이다. 즉 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경의 네트워크 기술과 RFID를 연동하면 데이터의 갱신, 인식, 처리 등의 작업을 손쉽게 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경하의 RFID 기술을 이용하여 경영관리 시스템에서의 수동적 관리구조를 능동적인 관리구조로 변화시킬 수 있는 u-비즈니스 경영관리 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 기존의 수동적인 경영관리 시스템의 구조를 능동적인 구조로 개선하기 위하여 경영관리에 따른 정보의 기록과 관리를 처리하는 관리 서버 기능을 갖으며, 그럼으로써 경영자에게는 인력과 비용 절감 효과를 주며 동시에 사용자에게는 쉬운 인터페이스를 제공하게 된다.

Healthcare and wellness industries have become more promising as the interests on healthy living increase. Not only the medical care oriented services for the patients done by medical centers but also the psychological and emotional healthgiving services for the people who are normal have been being stressed. The psychological and emotional healthgiving services should be executed in an agile and timely manner to maximize its effects. This paper aims to propose an emotion healing service spaces which are able to provide the normal people with psychological care services. To achieve the goals, we invented the tripot approach : the ubiquitous computing technology for context-aware and intelligent estimation of psychological index, LED technology to implement emotional atmosphere and wellness healthcare technology. The proposed architecture has been implemented in an actual site.

In this paper, we propose a design and implementation of Home Network Middleware which offer integrated service of electronic products. Most senior nations setting to core paradigm to ubiquitous computing techniques and effort to get the novel information and making more power about information techniques. But, they don't have a skill to Home Network Middleware in electronic products. It is a more important in Home Network Middleware. So, we will try to study about Home Network Middleware skill. And suggest to proposition that is a novel Home Network Middleware.

Ubiquitous computing environment means the computing environment that has taken its position so closely with the ordinary living so much like air or water. In building up the U-Korea, one of the important issues is the social issue from the drastic increase of senior population. The contemporary society has its distinct trend in increase of senior household following the nuclear family orientation, increase of working parents with the advancement of women in society, unable to support seniors for long distance or short distance of business trip and other reasons that the need of senior welfare has been ever more felt. Accordingly, the Ministry of Government Affairs and Home Administration has developed the wireless paging system to make prompt response system for 119 Rescue when the single senior is encountered with emergency situation that is has been widely provided for the socially neglected people such as single senior, the disabled persons and others. Currently, the wireless paging system is operated as the sub-system for emergency rescue information system, but due to the lack of reliability of product, problems of terminal portable transmitter, receptor and others, rejection of beneficiary and lack of knowledge in use, insufficient management and supervision of managing officers, the efficiency has been declined that there is a need of development for the system. Therefore, this study proposes the context aware information structure of the subject of ubiquitous wireless paging system required for the development of the wireless paging system model of ubiquitous environment that improved the problems of currently operated wireless paging system.

Accurate and efficient monitoring of dynamically changing environments is one of the most important requirements for ubiquitous network environments. Ubiquitous computing provides intelligent environments which are aware of spatial conditions and can provide timely and useful information to users or devices. Also, the growth of embedded systems and wireless communication technology has made it possible for sensor network environments to develop on a large scale and at low-cost. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a monitoring system that collects, analyzes, and controls the status information of each sensor, following sensor data extracted from each sensor node. The monitoring system adopts Web technology for the implementation of a simple but efficient user interface that allows an operator to visualize any of the processes, elements, or related information in a convenient graphic form.

The development of information & communication technology in 21st century along with the mass media In 20th century, the influence of state-of-art culture in our society rapidly increased in these days. This state-of-art culture makes the world becomes single-channeled by network, and there is a big change not only in human life but also in concept and understand for art and space. The development of digital paradigm and media technology is exerting a strong influence on the Ubiquitous computing environment that is being drawn great interest. The ubiquitous is concerned as expansion of media art, and the interactive art which is part of media art has the similarity with the ubiquitous computing environment. In this study, the possibility of connection between the territory of ubiquitous environment which is recently focused and has strong interrelation feature, and the territory of interacting will be examined. Furthermore, possibility of new space design work through seeking the possibility of connection between two territories will be estimated.

최근에 유비쿼터스 기술이 바뀌어 가고 있다. 유비쿼터스의 비전이 데스크탑 인터페이스와 정보 환경자체를 투명하게 변화시켜 주고 있다 유비쿼터스 연구는 컴퓨터 분야에서 많은 이슈를 던져주고 있고, 그러나 적용되는 사례에 있어서 다 성공적인 것 많은 아니다. 성공하기 위해서는 소프트웨어 엔지니어링과 연구와 결부 시켜야 한다. 그리고 많은 그와 관련된 응용 부분이 개발되어져야만 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅안에 연구가 성공적일 수 있다. 우리는 이 문제에 대하여 살펴보았고, 이 논문에서는 정보기술 연구에 대한 방향을 검토, 비교, 제시하였다.

최근 언제 어디서나 컴퓨팅이 가능한 Ubiquitous Computing System 을 구현하기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 또한, 이를 구현하기 위해 사용자의 상황에 따라 최적의 서비스를 제공하기 위한 상황인식 (Context-awareness) 컴퓨팅 기술 또한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Ubiquitous Computing System 을 구현하기 위해 복합 센서로부터 입력되는 다양한 상황 정보에 대해 CRS(Context Recognition Switch) 개념을 포함하여 보다 정확하고 빠르게 사용자의 상황 정보를 추출하게 된다. 또한 제안된 DOS(Dynamic and Optimal Standard) 개념으로부터 노드의 고유 속성을 분석하여 특화된 시스템 서비스가 가능한는 IEEE 802.15.4 WPAN Standard 기반의 UoC(Ubiquitous system on Chip) Architecture 를 제안하였다.
