The paper describes the design and implementation of full-software videophone module for Korean Government's Ubiquitous Robotic Companion project 2007. The project shows the commercial feasibility of video service, particularly videophone service with 3G WCDMA cellular mobile phone.

e-러닝의 학교 현장 도입과 마찬가지로 유비쿼터스 기술이 대두되면서 학교 현장으로의 유비쿼터스 환경 적용에 대한 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 신기술에 대한 무조건적인 적용을 통해서는 우리가 기대하는 효과적인 교수 학습을 기대하기는 힘들다. 본 논문에서는 e-러닝을 중심으로 한 교육정보화정책 실천과정 분석을 기초로 유비쿼터스 환경 적용을 위한 전략을 모색해 보고자 한다.

RFID security and privacy issues have been intensively studied in the research field, the authentication between RFID reader and tag is the fundamental them. Most of the existing authentication protocols draw assumptions on classic primitives. Since tags have small capacities, the security mechanisms which are in use in computer networks and communication are not suitable. In this paper, we compare and analyze recent technical research on the problems of privacy and security. It consists of security mechanism, threats and performance evaluation, etc.

IP 멀티캐스트 기술은 지난 10여년동안 꾸준히 발전해 왔지만 라우터의 편재형 배치(Ubiquitous deployment)가 되지 않음으로 인해 네트워크 라우터가 패킷을 복사, 전달함으로서 종단 호스트와 네트워크 라우터 간에 부가적인 제어와 라우팅 프로토콜이 필요하게 되는 단점이 있다. 이에 대한 대안으로 현재 오버레이 네트워크를 이용한 애플리케이션 레벨 멀티캐스트가 많이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 P2P 오버레이 네트워크를 이용해 확장 (scalability)이 있고 참여지연(Join delay)이 적으면서 효율적인 트리를 구성할수 있는 애플리케이션 레벨 멀티캐스트를 제안한다.

u-Healthcare 활성화의 필요성이 꾸준히 제시되어 왔으나, 아직까지 이해자들의 공감대를 이끌어 낼 수 있는 개념정립 및 분류체계가 미비한 실정이다. 새로운 서비스 영역인 u-Healthcare 분야 산업 발전을 위해서는 정책적 전략과 제도적 정비 등의 기반조성이 필요하며, 이에 앞서 명확한 개념 정의와 영역 범주화의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 ubiquitous computing 속성에 대한 이해를 통해 u-Health 환경과 u-Healthcare를 정의하며, 보건의료적 접근에 의한 분류를 통해 보건의료서비스에의 적용가능 분야를 제시하고자 한다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경은 다양한 장치 혹은 시스템들이 동적으로 결합하여 구성되는 환경이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 장치 혹은 시스템들에 연동하여 사용자들을 위한 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 효율적인 기반을 구축하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 특정한 운영 체제나 개발 환경을 가정하지 않고 다양한 환경에서 개발된 장치들이 쉽게 통합되어 연동될 수 있도록 하는 메시징 프로토콜을 제안한다.

This study is designed to find out what kinds of factors influence the application of RFID system to the library. This study is followed by theoretically reviewing the RFID and the application RFID system to the library. Theoretical study models are developed by expanding the social influence, perceived risk, job relevance, support, and self-efficacy after Based on Technology Acceptance Model that provides useful theoretical foundations for setting the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and intention of application to the library of RFID system as the core of a study model. The affecting factors of application of the RFID system to the library are presented by empirically studying this study model.
