Purpose: Tomatoes, an important agricultural product in fresh-cut markets, are sometimes a source of foodborne illness, mainly Salmonella spp. Growth cracks on tomatoes can be a pathway for bacteria, so its detection prior to consumption is important for public health. In this study, multispectral Visible/Near-Infrared (NIR) reflectance imaging techniques were used to determine optimal wavebands for the classification of defect tomatoes. Methods: Hyperspectral reflectance images were collected from samples of naturally cracked tomatoes. To classify the resulting images, the selected wavelength bands were subjected to two-band permutations, and a supervised classification method was used. Results: The results showed that two optimal wavelengths, 713.8 nm and 718.6 nm, could be used to identify cracked spots on tomato surfaces with a correct classification rate of 91.1%. The result indicates that multispectral reflectance imaging with optimized wavebands from hyperspectral images is an effective technique for the classification of defective tomatoes. Conclusions: Although it can be susceptible to specular interference, the multispectral reflectance imaging is an appropriate method for commercial applications because it is faster and much less expensive than Near-Infrared or fluorescence imaging techniques.

GUMF (Global User Management Framework) that is proposed in this research can be applied to next generation network such as BcN (Broadband convergence Network), it is QoS guaranteed security framework for user that can solve present Internet's security vulnerability. GUMF offers anonymity for user of service and use the user's real-name or ID for management of service and it is technology that can realize secure QoS. GUMF needs management framework, UMS (User Management System), VNC (Virtual Network Controller) etc. UMS consists of root UMS in country dimension and Local UMS in each site dimension. VNC is network security equipment including VPN, QoS and security functions etc., and it achieves the QoSS (Quality of Security Service) and CLS(Communication Level Switching) functions. GUMF can offer safety in bandwidth consumption attacks such as worm propagation and DoS/DDoS, IP spoofing attack, and current most attack such as abusing of private information because it can offer the different QoS guaranteed network according to user's grades. User's grades are divided by 4 levels from Level 0 to Level 3, and user's security service level is decided according to level of the private information. Level 3 users that offer bio-information can receive secure network service that privacy is guaranteed. Therefore, GUMF that is proposed in this research can offer profit model to ISP and NSP, and can be utilized by strategy for secure u-Korea realization.

유비쿼터스는 오늘날 사회, 경제적으로 커다란 변화를 가져올 것으로 예견되고 있으며 향후 유비쿼터스가 고도화될수록 가정, 기업, 국가에 미칠 영향력과 파급효과는 상상을 초월한다. 특히 국가는 모든 공공관리 공간(도로, 공원, 교량, 건물 등)에 유비쿼터스 기술을 적용하여 체계적인 관리와 활용이 가능하고 행정, 금융, 치안, 복지 등에서 업무효율의 향상과 경쟁력을 강화시킬 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 유비쿼터스에 관한 이론적 고찰을 바탕으로 향후 유비쿼터스 기술을 적용한 경찰서비스를 구현하기 위한 것이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 문제 인식하에 경찰공무원과 시민 현장 인터뷰 조사를 통하여 유비쿼터스 기술을 이용한 경찰서비스의 성과예상, 사회적영향, 기대 등을 탐색하며 나아가 이로 인해 발생할 수 있는 문제는 무엇인가를 비교 조사하여 향후 유비쿼터스 경찰서비스를 구축하는데 있어 중요 기준을 제시하고자 하였다.

In ubiquitous environments, the content adaptable services can be dynamically provided to adapt the frequent changes of contexts. These services have common things that the kinds of context factors are limited to ubiquitous environment, though the contexts are flexible. To reuse service architecture can be reasonable for effective adaptable service. In this paper, we design a software architecture with product line techniques for content adaptable applications in ubiquitous environment. Description of product line is to define variation points and their variants, to find out the dependencies between them and to keep the model based architecture, their alternatives.

The market of air cargo in Korea grows very quickly and diversifies. It is an essential factor in the process of development of Northeast-Asia as a hub for Air Cargo logistics. But the process of air cargo in Korea is complex as compared with other north-east asia nations and it has many problems and causes inconvenience to owners of freight. We emphasize that 4PL(Fourth party Logistics) is the excellent solution from among many alternatives. The wave of 4PL added to strategic consulting based on new IT techniques, for example RFID, with logistics outsourcing through existing 3PL service is a great issue. It is also worthy of notice that EPCglobal network strengthen the role of 4PL. In conclusion, the 4PL system based on EPCglobal network will result in a good success, so it will raise a prestige of air cargo in Korea to a higher position. This study deals with the new logistics system, air cargo logistics system based on u-4PL system, RFID and EPCglobal network, that will bring many advantages. At the end, we verify the u-4PL air cargo logistics system by simulation tool.

A city development has been focused on solving a housing shortage of city resulted from rapid industrialization and population increase in city. However, such a development has caused many problems in environment, economy, safety, and so on. In recent, therefore, a new paradigm of a city development is required, and thus ubiquitous city (U-City) concept appears. U-City development, which combines construction method and IT technique, creates a new composite space, and help people improve quality of life in terms of solving many problems caused by existing method of a city development. However, there is no guide to build U-City up to date, and most present U-City projects have processed following past method of city development. Therefore, an objective of this paper is to suggest an explicit procedure of enforcement design in U-City system.

The stress of connection points between railway vehicle equipment and carbody is considered as one of the important railway safety factor under the vehicle service condition. If any material or equipment drop in to the rail during the service condition, the vehicle call be lose its control as well as run off the rail. The be]t safety evaluation method by using hand calculation is broadly used by manufacturer is introduced in this paper. Two different kinds of the bolt, such as regular bolt and the bolt aluminum extruded carbody use, are tested based on U.I.C according to equipment fixed. The effect of holder and base to bolt under tile loading condition is analyzed on this paper.

This paper analyzes quality management of aviation safety services in Korea and proposes practical implications for improvement. We look into how quality management is conducted in the Korean aviation industry and confirm aviation authority's efforts for a quality management system. We also compare and analyze international standard ISO 9001 and aviation safety oversight system quality management cases of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with a Korean case. Results find the difference in defining the scope of ISO 9001 management between ICAO/FAA and the Korean authority which causes unnecessary misunderstanding in oversight perception. The Korean aviation authority strives to provide a high level of safety oversight services by educating aviation safety inspectors as well as establishing a quality management system. We believe that our proposals can help Korean aviation safety oversight system secure objective credibility and seek a safe growth and development of the aviation industry.

he safety and quality of the food supply are governed by a complex system and food safety management is one of the most important tasks of every government and government agency. Different types of policies have been developed and emplyed to address current and upcoming challegnes. In many counties including South Korea, much effort has been made to reform food safety system including organizational transformation and policy change. Food safety agencies including their history in four countries -U.S., England, Japan, and EU- are reviewd and major policies which have been recently employed by thses four contries are also examined. Additionally, the report of EU food safety and nutiriton in 2050 is introduced and scenarios of future change and policy responses in the report are exmained. Lastly, insight into this issue is given based on review of organizational transformation and major policies in four countries.
