제조업 일자리의 과업 특성에 따른 로봇의 차별적인 고용 영향에 관한 연구 (Task-Specific Influences of Robotics on Manufacturing Jobs)

  • 기술 진보는 미래의 일자리 구조를 어떻게 변화시키는가? 이 거대한 질문에 답하기 위한 노력의 하나로 이 연구는 로봇의 도입이 미국의 제조업 일자리의 동태에 미친 영향을 탐구한다. 연구는 과업 모형에 기초해 로봇 도입의 효과가 서로 다른 과업 특성을 가진 직종 사이에 차별적으로 작용할 것이라고 전재했다. 이에 기초하여 지역의 로봇 노출도가 과업 특성별로 구분된 직종 군집의 고용 변화에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구는 2012~2022년 사이 52개 미국 지역 제조업 부문의 관련 직종 307개의 고용 변화 추이를 성장곡선으로 모형화하고, 이를 직종별 고용 통계자료를 활용해 실증하는 방식으로 진행됐다. 분석 결과 손재주 역량을 요구하는 직종 군집에서 일자리 수가 빠르게 감소하는 경향을 확인할 수 있었지만, 지역의 로봇 사용 정도가 이러한 경향을 강화한다는 증거는 확인할 수 없었다. 이는 미국 제조업 부문의 일자리 변화가, 최근 대두된 로봇 기술에 영향을 받는다기보다, 과거부터 이어져 온 탈산업화와 기능적 특화의 경향에 의해 주도되고 있음을 함의한다.

  • This study try introduce a cell manufacturing form and to make the productivity in a conveyor line manufacture for the customer requirement and market change. The case research from JIT theory that made the model to make a productivity enhance through the cell line in a conveyor line and U-line. This research was subject with a cosmetics manufacture company, therefor we can raise the quality enhance, personnel expenses and reduction of delivery effectiveness in a stroke types of industry consequently.

  • The quality of precision spindle units (S/Us) running on rolling bearings depends strongly on their structural parameters, such as the configuration and geometry of the S/U elements and bearing preloads. When S/Us are designed, their parameters should be optimized to improve the performance characteristics. However, it is practically impossible to state perfectly a general criterion function for S/U quality. Therefore, we propose to use a multicriteria optimization based on the parameter space investigation (PSI) method We demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method using the optimization results of high-speed S/Us.

  • It is important to find the competitive priority, which makes a great contribution to the action plans. The reason is that this makes it possible to provide Korean manufacturers with effective behavioral model to break through the depression after 1997'financial crisis in Korea. Focused priority has become a focus of organizations faced with the need to survive in a highly uncertain business environment characterized by rapid technological change, global competition, and demanding customers. Many believe that better linkages of priority and action plans are fundamental to surviving in the world market. However, there was little previous research dealing with the relationship between the strategic priority and action plans in the view of competitive weapon. This study presents empirical findings on differences between U.S. and Korean manufacturing approach to relationship of priority and plans. Specially, Korean manufacturers are eager for good model to overcome depression of 1997' financial crisis in Korea. Data was collected as part of the Manufacturing Futures Project completed in 1996. The results indicate that U.S. manufacturers maintain focused linkages from priority to action plans than do Korean manufacturers.

절삭 반경에 따른 U-type 유로 형상의 버 제거율에 관한 연구 (The Study on Burr Removal Rate Along the Cutting Radial Distance in U-type Flow Channel)

  • As increasing demand for precise machining in advanced disciplines, especially in semi-conductor, aeronautical and automotive industries, the magnetic abrasive deburring(MAD) which is able to eliminate micro-sized burr on complex surface in less time has drawn the attention in the last decades. However, the performance of MAD is subject to shape and size of a tool. Therefore, this study aim to identify deburring behavior of MAD in U-type flow channel by measuring the length rate of burr removal in radial distance of the cylindrical tool under four process factors. In order to evaluate the deburring effect of MAD on the surface, finishing regions are divided based on center of the circular cutting tool. As a results, it was defined that the amount of burr removal in a downward direction moving toward flow channel from the top surface was higher than upward direction. This is because the magnetic abrasives were detached from magnetic lines of force due to geometrical shape.

반도체 후공정 라인의 페트리 네트 모델링과 동적 스케쥴링 (Petri nets modeling and dynamic scheduling for the back-end line in semiconductor manufacturing)

  • An effective method of system modeling and dynamic scheduling for the back-end line of semiconductor manufacturing is proposed. The virtual factory, describing semiconductor manufacturing line, is designed in detail, and then a Petri net model simulator is developed for operation and control of the modular cells of the virtual factory. The petri net model is a colored timed Petri nets (CTPNs). The simulator will be utilized to analyze and evaluate various dynamic status and operatons of manufacturing environments. The dynamic schedulaer has a hierarchical structure with the higher for planning level and the lower for dynamic scheduling level. The genetic algorithm is applied to extract optimal conditions of the scheduling algorithm. The proposed dynamic scheduling is able to realize the semiconductor manufacturing environments for the diversity of products, the variety of orders by many customers, the flexibility of order change by changing market conditions, the complexity of manufacturing processes, and the uncertainty of manufacturing resources. The proposed method of dynamic scheduling is more effective and useful in dealing with such recent pressing requirements including on-time delivery, quick response, and flexibility.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the manufacturing technique on the U type Draw-Bending of inner groove tube. The U type tube requires the quality of product that satisfy sufficient conditions for a heat exchanger. The mandrel components act the important roles that prevent wrinkles and keep the shape of cross section of bended tube at bending process. We performed the FEM simulation using LS-DYNA software and the bending test of inner groove tube and then, compared bending simulation with bending test results about mandrel ball diameter, mandrel position and optimal clearance between mandrel and tube.

Shot peening 가공에 의한 노치재의 응력분포와 피로강도의 개선 (The Stress Distribution and Improvement of fatigue Strength for Notched Materials by Shot Peening)

  • Second step shot peening was applied on both smooth specimen and U-notch specimen in order to investigate the stress distribution and the improvement in fatigue strength. Various experiments and measurements such as rotary bending fatigue test and the measurement of compressive residual stress were performed. The results showed that the fatigue strength of second step shot peened specimens increased by 34 percent compared to that of unpeened ones. Compressive residual stress also considerably increased, which resulted in the increase of fatigue strength. finite element analysis showed that shot peening is effective in decreasing the bending stress by external force. The effectiveness of shot peening in reducing the compressive residual stress was anticipated by the superposition of the concentrated stress and the compressive residual stress.
