Developing u-Public facilities for application u-City is to combine both the state-of-the art of the construction and ubiquitous computing and must be flexibly comprised of the facilities for the basic service of the building such as air conditioning, heating, lighting and electric equipments to materialize a new format of spatial planning and the public facilities inside or outside. Accordingly, in this paper we suggested the time pattern system for predicting the most basic power system loads for the basic service. To application the tim e pattern we applied SOM algorithm and k-means method and then clustered the data each weekday and each time respectively. The performance evaluation results of suggestion system showed that the forecasting system better the ARIMA model than the exponential smoothing method. It has been assumed that the plan for power supply depending on demand and system operation could be performed efficiently by means of using such power load forecasting.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the site selection of U-library in Daejeon. For this study, through literature research and analysis of the current status of U-library in Korea, evaluation indicators for the site selection are derived, and based on this, the location of the public library, the radius of the proposed location, the transport performance by subway station, government offices, transportation facilities, convenience facilities, the current status of major facilities and the number of residents by region were analyzed and applied. Finally, based on the analysis results, a total of 16 U-library locations were proposed in the five autonomous districts in Daejeon: 2 in Daedeok-gu, 2 in Dong-gu, 4 in Seo-gu, 6 in Yuseong-gu, and 2 in Jung-gu.

삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 유비쿼터스 테크놀로지 도입으로 인해 제품개발, 주거, 상업시설 등에서 시작하여 최근 유비쿼터스 환경 구축의 일환으로 u-City 구현에 중점을 두고 많은 연구 진행되고 있다. 그 중 가로환경 디자인은 공공 시설로서 유비쿼터스 환경 구축의 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 그러나, 오늘날 가로 공간은 그 수가 양적으로 팽창되었을 뿐 각각의 특색에 맞게 조성되고 있지는 못하며, 물리적 환경개선에 중점을 두어 단순한 가로정비 수준에 머물고 있다. 이로 인해 지역주민과 이용자 중심의 참여에는 부족한 면이 많았다. 이에 본 연구는 유비쿼터스 테크놀로지를 도입하여 보다 실용적이고 현실 참여적인 공간으로 디자인함으로써 새로운 u-Street 디자인을 제안하고자 한다. 또한, 이와 같은 공공장소에서의 서비스가 이용자들과 어떠한 인터렉티브 커뮤니케이션을 가질 수 있을지에 대해 살펴보고 이를 디자인에 반영하여 공간이 인간과의 상호작용을 원활히 하고 감성적인 공간 디자인이 될 수 있도록 u-Service 를 개발하는 데 중점을 두고자 한다. 본 연구는 부산 광복로를 사례로 진행되었으며, 그 결과 다음과 같은 측면에서 기대효과를 예측할 수 있다. 첫째, u-City 의 기반 시설로서의 u-Street는 수평적이고 친환경적인 가로 경험을 통해 사람이 직접 여러 서비스와 인터렉션할 수 있다. 둘째, 본 연구에 제안된 u-Service 는 이전 광복로의 침체되고 비활동적인 공간을 활동적이고 생동감있는 공간으로 재활성화시키는데 중요한 매개체로서의 역할을 하게 될 것이다. 셋째, 주민과 이용자들의 적극적인 참여를 유도하여 지속적인 공간을 만들어 내는 데 크게 기여할 것이다.

최근 유가의 상승은 공간이동의 비용을 매우 크게하여 경제성장을 약화시키고 있다. 이러한 시기에 본 논문은 시간적/공간적 제약을 극복하고 효율적으로 작업할 수 있는 서비스 모델을 제안한다. 인터넷 및 IT인프라의 발전은 사람들이 시간과 공간의 제약없이 언제, 어디에서나 누구와도 작업할 수 있도록 가능하게 할 것이다. 정해진 시간이 아니라 자기가 일하고 싶은 시간에 가상의 일터에서 가상의 조직을 이용하여 전 세계 어디에 있는 누구와도 같이 일을 할 수 있는 공간이 만들어지는 것이다. 이렇게 일하는 방식을 u-Work이라하며 u-Work서비스가 가능하게 해 준다. 본 논문은 u-Work의 유형을 재택근무, 이동원격근무, u-Work센터근무로 분류하고, 공공기관 u-Work서비스 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 또한, 제안한 공공기관 u-Work서비스 모델의 구축방안을 시설인프라 측면, IT인프라 측면, 운용인프라 측면으로 나누어 기술한다. 구축된 u-Work서비스는 전 세계의 전문인력을 활용할 수도 있으며, 사회적 약자의 생산활동 참여 기회를 높이는 등 유연한 노동시장을 만들어 줄 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of color image for establishing the color environment contributing to the promotion of public health in the public health facilities and to utilize it as data of public health color plan and index development. For this purpose, the results of the previous precedent studies were integrated and public health facilities were classified into medical facilities (general hospitals), health facilities (public health centers), and sub - healing facilities (elderly care facilities). We visited 18 public health facilities in total, measured the environmental color of with a spectroscopic, compared the results and the precedent studies results, and identified color image characteristics and future supplement points. The results are as follows. First, the previous studies related to the environment color image vocabulary of the public health facilities, it prefer comfortable, bright and positive image. Second, as a result of direct measurement the environmental color of the public health facilities, it is found that most of them use the high brightness and low saturation color of Y series. Third, as a result of analyzing vocabulary of environmental color image of public health facilities, 'natural' image showed the highest frequency, and other images such as 'gentle' and 'decent' appeared. It was difficult to understand the characteristics of the color image vocabularies of public health facilities. This study is a convergence study of color science and environmental design, and it extends the scope of multidisciplinary research related to design and it will be helpful in environmental planning on user's emotion.

u-GIS를 기반으로 시설물관리방안은 국토해양부의 VC-10 과제인 "지능형국토정보기술혁신사업단" 의하여 개발되고 있다. 이 관리방안은 상수도 하수도 등 지하시설물 또는 지상시설물에 적용되는 기법으로, VC-10 다른 과제로 연구단 구성을 하고 있는 "U-Eco City 사업단"에서 제공하려고 하는 u-Space인 공공시설 관련 서비스에 해당된다. 본고에서는 "지능형국토정보기술혁신사업단" 과제와 "U-Eco City 사업단" 과제를 개략적으로 파악하고, "지능형국토정보기술혁신사업단"의 관리 중심 u-GIS 기반 u-City 구축방안의 현황을 분석하여, "지능형국토정보기술혁신사업단" 과제와 "U-Eco City사업단" 과제의 연계방안을 모책하여 u-GIS기반의 u-City계획 설계 시공 및 유지관리를 위한 방향제시를 하고자 한다.

IT technologies applied in the urban places are being promoted in each area. Especially infrastructure is performed in the central role of technical support in urban area. However, u-City infrastructure has lack of integrated way and concentrated on only feasible technology which cause frequent substitution and the nested technology in urban area. Therefore this study sheds light on infrastructure through a overall considerations of urban compositional elements and interactions, and apply technology in the process of the industrial era, the domestic supply of urban infrastructure and the cycle comparison-analysis deal with the domestic implications when applied. The results of the study, first, the u-City infrastructure should be supplied by public. Second, u-City infrastructure is in need of the agile character, and standardization of the subtleties is needed. Third, a new system of integrated-macroscopic perspective should be established by changes that influenced by convergences of IT technologies and infrastructures. Fourth, u-City infrastructures planning should consider interactions of services, devices and systems.

With the advent of uniquitous life, changes of users' demands make a public library accomplish roles and functions of a complex service center providing information, education and culture service. As a multi-function center, a public library provides various services based on physical and digital space in ubiquitous environment. Information commons is a basement of physical space in an u-Library. Especially, with the advent of ubiquitous environment, design and use of physical space will be a critical issue for a public library to perform its role and function as a multiple complicated space. This study derives facilities and components for designing and implementing information commons in a public library as a physical space. To perform the goals, this study focuses on the newest trends and requirements through literature study, case study and survey. As a result, this study proposes components of facility and principles of design to implement information commons as a physical space in a public library.

Over 20,000 defense shelters are currently designated and operated in Korea. However, only few sheltershave the capacity to defend against CBR attack or terror from North Korea. Furthermore, as public defense shelters are only equipped with air-raid shelters, it is urgent to establish standard for CBR attack.This study focuses on shelter-in-place(SIP), a kind of CBR shelter in the U.S., and aims to draw up construction plan and planning of Korean defenses helter.
