It is essential for gait analysis to know the distance information. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of start and finish distance on the gait variable during walking. Six adolescent participated in this study. Start condition was given by six conditions.: walking forward from (1) one step, (2) three steps, (3) five steps, (4) ten steps, (5) one step after standing walk, and (6) three steps after standing walk, before contacting the force plate. Stop condition was given by four conditions. : stop after (1) one step, (2) two steps, (3) three steps, and (4) ten steps, passing force plate. Repeated measured one-way ANOVA was utilized for data analysis, and the significant level was set at .05. The largest change from the difference of gait velocity exists between the variables of ground reaction force. There were no significant differences in spatio-temporal and posture(angle) variables, as well as ground reaction force variables with walking over the three steps. There were significant differences in gait velocity, knee angle at heel contact, vertical impulse and ankle angle at toe off in short distance.

The proposed real-time structural health monitoring(SHM) system in past transferred and received data, central server gathered data from sensors, through coaxial cable. an immense sum of money is required to structure sensor network using coaxial cable. This paper proposes USN-based structural health monitoring(SHM). AIso, this paper designs and realizes prototypes according to proposed SHM. The value of sensing data obtained through HSDPA transfer to the BMS(Bridge Monitoring Server) passing through the TCP / IP socket by building two-way communication system, We have implemented a complete graph converting full system.
Enhanced methodologies for process diagnosis and abnormal situation management have been developed for the last two decades. However, there is no single method that always shows better performance over all kinds of diagnostic problems. In this paper, a framework of message-passing, cooperative, intelligent diagnostic agents is presented for improved on-line fault diagnosis through cooperative problem solving of different expertise. A group of diagnostic agents in charge of different process functional perform local diagnoses in parallel; exchange related information with other diagnostic agents; and cooperatively solve the global diagnostic problem of the whole process plant or business units just like human experts would do. For their better understanding, sharing and exchanging of process knowledge and information, we also suggest a way of remodeling processes and protocols, taking into account semantic abstracts of process information and data. The benefits of the suggested multi-agents-based approach are demonstrated by the implementations for solving the diagnostic problems of various chemical processes.
A dynamic analysis procedure is developed to provide a comprehensive estimation of the dynamic response spectrum for locomotive's wheels running over a Pre-Stressed Concrete (PSC) box girder bridge on the Korea high speed railway. The wheel force spectrum with the bridge behavior are analyzed as the dynamic procedure for various running speeds (50~450km/h). The high-speed railway locomotive (KTX) is used as 38-degree of freedom system. Three displacements(vertical, lateral, and longitudinal) and three rotational components (pitching, rolling, and yawing). For one car-body and two bogies as well as five movements except pitching rotation components for four wheel axes forces are considered in the 38-degree of freedom model. Three dimensional frame element is used to model of the PSC box girder bridges, simply supported span length of 40m. The irregulation of rail-way is derived using the exponential spectrum density function under assumption of twelve level tracks conditions based on the normal probability procedure. The dynamic responses of bridge passing through the railway locomotive with high-speed analyzed by Newmark-${\beta}$ method and Runge-Kutta method are compared and contrasted considering the developed models of bridge, track and locomotive comprehensively. The dynamic analyses of wheel forces by Runge-Kutta method which are able to analyze the forces with high frequency running on the bridge and ground rail-way are conducted. Additionally, wheel forces spectrum and three rotational components of vehicle body for three typical running speeds is also presented.
In order to study gas hydrate, potential future energy resources, Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources has conducted seismic reflection survey in the East Sea since 1997. one of evidence for presence of gas hydrate in seismic reflection data is a bottom simulating reflector (BSR). The BSR occurs at the interface between overlaying higher velocity, hydrate-bearing sediment and underlying lower velocity, free gas-bearing sediment. That is often characterized by large reflection coefficient and reflection polarity reverse to that of seafloor reflection. In order to apply depth migration to seismic reflection data. we need high performance computers and a parallelizing technique because of huge data volume and computation. Phase shift plus interpolation (PSPI) is a useful method for migration due to less computing time and computational efficiency. PSPI is intrinsically parallelizing characteristic in the frequency domain. We conducted conventional data processing for the gas hydrate data of the Ease Sea and then applied prestack depth migration using message-passing-interface PSPI (MPI_PSPI) that was parallelized by MPI local-area-multi-computer (MPI_LAM). Velocity model was made using the stack velocities after we had picked horizons on the stack image with in-house processing tool, Geobit. We could find the BSRs on the migrated stack section were about at SP 3555-4162 and two way travel time around 2,950 ms in time domain. In depth domain such BSRs appear at 6-17 km distance and 2.1 km depth from the seafloor. Since energy concentrated subsurface was well imaged we have to choose acquisition parameters suited for transmitting seismic energy to target area.

The East gate station area is 205M long and 24m deep which is located 13 meter in front of cultural treasure east gate. The area to be excavated by blasting is composed of granite rocks from 10M depth to 25M. Surface earth extends to up 10M depth. This job site has in involves heavy traffic congestion such as over 10,000 cars passing in rush hour where clossing No 1 lint of subway running 3 minitues head way. This east gate station construction is to be executed for the provent of the setting down of underground level and blasting vibration effects to cultural treasure east gate. Therefore, the caltural treasure committee approved this execution subject to the following condition. 1. Subway gelogical foundation and measured natural frequency 2. Execution of water tight wall 3. Sellection and test of damping material for wall and under rail 4. Measurement of monitoring system during the execution 5. Measurement of histogram system The above two projects was carried out by Dr. Kwang team in KAIST and prof, Han in Hanyang University under accadamic study contract. In the blasting work, for the pourpose of reduced vibration and low explosion velocity such as CCR, Kovex slurry. The 2nd, used electrical caps shall be delay cap and M/S caps in multi delay. The 3rd, drilling pattern is bench cut in open cut and applied control blasting in tunnelling and also shall drill anti-vibration holes as line drilling.

This study intended to draw some suggests for the development of mathematics teachers' expertise through the comparison research of pre-service and in-service teachers' PCK about questioning in elementary mathematics class. For this purpose, questionnaire survey was conducted to some pre-service and in-service teachers about the PCK concerning the way how questioning during mathematics class. This survey revealed the following implications. First, from the perspective of mathematics classroom, it is still more important the practical knowledge about how to teach which is evolutionally developed passing through the experience and currier of teaching than theoretical knowledge itself. Comparing the teachers' PCK about the two related knowledge types of mathematics contents, in case of procedural knowledge related PCK it was more asked of teachers' expertise than the case of conceptual knowledge related PCK. Thirdly, in case of learners' incorrect answer, for the desirable teaching it should be a questioning focused on whether there being or not the systematic among the learners' incorrect answer, and in case of appreciating the learners' understanding about the presently taught contents the questioning should be constructed considering the relevant contents early learned.

In this paper, we focus on the problem of designing an energy efficient MAC protocol for wireless sensor networks and analyze S(Sensor)-MAC and T(Time-out)-MAC. S-MAC is based on the concept of the 'listen/sleep mode cycle'. This applies message passing to reduce contention latency for sensor-network applications that require store-and-forward processing as data moves through the network. However unlike the S-MAC, where the duration of the cycle is fixed, T-MAC introduces an adaptive duty cycle in a novel way: by dynamical ending the active part of it. This reduces the amount of energy wasted on idle listening, in which nodes wait for potentially incoming messages while still maintaining a reasonable throughput. In this paper we discuss the design of these two Protocols. We analyze them from the aspect of latency, throughput, and power savings when using the OMNeT++ simulator in various environments.
The port entry system of the inner harbor in Pyeongtaek${\cdot}$Dangjin was planned as lock-gate in 'Master plan project on port planning in Asan industry base(1990)‘, but was changed to tidal harbor in 'Project maintaining Master plan for comprehensive development of Pyeongtaek${\cdot}$Dangjin port(2001)'. Accordingly, southern sea bank constructed under the lower part of Seohae-bridge will be removed so that inbound/outbound vessels for the inner harbor can navigate at all times. However, in the view of the safety on passing through the lower of Seohae-bridge, navigating conditions for the inner harbor will be restricted in the single-way of 50,000 DWT vessel and the two-way of vessel less than 30,000 DWT Therefore, this study carried out the estimation of traffic congestion arising from these vessels with above restrictions q[ter supposing annual inbound/outbound vessel's numbers for loading and unloading cargo surveyed on the inner harbor.
Unsignalized intersections are classified into two-way-stop-controlled(TWSC) and all-way-stop-controlled(AWSC) intersections for the analysis of capacity and level of service. There is no AWSC intersection in Korea, but non-controlled intersections are common. Non-controlled intersections are operated only by the driver's decision without any control. However, the study for the analysis of capacity and level of service of the non-controlled intersection has been rare. As the first stage research, this study aims to determine the measure-of-effectiveness (MOE) for the performance evaluation of non-controlled intersections. The relationships between traffic volume and the intersection passing time (delay) and number of conflicts on each intersection are analyzed. It was found that the number of conflicts were more sensitive to the traffic volume compared with the delay. It means that number of conflicts can be the MOE for the performance of non-controlled intersection. The analysis of the number of conflicts and traffic volume showed a linear relationship, so that traffic volume can also be an MOE. The level of service of non-controlled intersection can be determined with either of the MOE's. Since the performance is also influenced by the ratio of traffic volumes of crossing streets, the traffic volume should be adjusted by the ratio. The capacity of non-controlled intersection was suggested to be 2,000veh/hr referring that of AWSC intersection in the USHCM. The criteria was suggested by evenly dividing the traffic volumes based on the capacity.
