Background It is known that nonsynostotic plagiocephaly does not spontaneously improve, and the craniofacial deformities that result from it. This study was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of helmet therapy for the nonsynostotic plagiocephaly patient, and to suggest a new treatment strategy based on this analysis. Methods A total of 108 pediatric patients who had undergone helmet therapy after being diagnosed with nonsynostotic plagiocephaly were included in this study. The patients were classified according to the initiation age of the helmet therapy, severity, and helmet wearing time. The treatment effect was compared using cranial vault asymmetry (CVA) and the cranial vault asymmetry index (CVAI), which were obtained from diagonal measurements before and after therapy. Results The discrepancy of CVA and CVAI of all the patients significantly decreased after helmet therapy. According to the initiation time of helmet therapy, the treatment effect was best at 5 months old or less. The helmet wearing time per day was proportional to the treatment effect up to 20 hours. In addition, the rate of the successful treatment (final CVA ${\leq}$ 5 mm) significantly decreased when the initiation age was 9.1 months or older and the treatment period was less than 7.83 months. Conclusions This study showed the effectiveness of the helmet therapy for nonsynostotic plagiocephaly patients. Based on analysis of this study, helmet therapy should be started at the age of 9 months or younger for 7.83 months or more, and the helmet wearing time should be more than 20 hours a day.

Objectives: Despite treatment, the pre-traumatic facial appearance of patients with maxillofacial fractures might not be able to be restored, and this difference can affect the person's quality of life (QoL). This study was designed to evaluate changes in QoL of people with maxillofacial fractures. Materials and Methods: The study population was comprised of participants with maxillofacial fracture and age- and sex-matched healthy controls without history of such fracture. QoL was measured using the World Health Organization Quality of Life BREF (WHOQOL-BREF) questionnaire, which was administered to the patients before treatment (Time 1), at 6 weeks post-treatment (Time 2), and at 12 weeks postoperatively (Time 3). The values were compared with those of healthy controls. The QoL was compared between closed reduction group and open reduction and internal fixation group. Results: The QoL scores of people with maxillofacial fracture before treatment were significantly lower (P=0.001) than those of healthy controls in all domains of the WHOQOL-BREF. The QoL scores in the psychological and social domains of patients with maxillofacial fracture at Time 3 were still lower than those of healthy controls (P=0.001). Conclusion: The QoL of patients with maxillofacial fracture was significantly reduced before treatment in all domains and remained reduced in both psychological and social domains weeks after treatment. Therefore, clinicians must be aware of and manage the residual psychosocial issues that can accompany the post-treatment period of maxillofacial injury.
Meats with alginate binders including sodium alginate, glucono-delta-lactone and calcium carbonate were tested in restructured steaks made from M. pectoralis profundus of beef steers in terms of meat quality and binding ability by tumbling time. The treatment with 25 min tumbling time was significantly lower (p<0.05) for crude protein than 5 and 15 min, while higher (p<0.05) for moisture content. This corresponded with sensory panel juiciness ratings, which showed the treatment for longer tumbling times to be significantly juicier (p<0.05) than that for a shorter time. Cooking loss decreased (p<0.05) linearly with an increased tumbling time, and Kramer shear force also significant decreased (p<0.05) with tumbling time. This corresponded with sensory panel tenderness ratings, which showed that the treatment for longer tumbling times was more tender (p<0.05). The texture results indicated that longer tumbling time had lower (p<0.05) hardness and chewiness values. Sensory panels ranked binding ability in the order 5 min, 15 min and 25 min from best to worst, and the overall acceptability for slices from roasts of treatments for 5 and 15 min were rated by the sensory panelists as moderate to very acceptable, but those for 25 min were rated as fair to moderate.

In the procedure of the estimation, the short time breakdown characteristics for the epoxy composite specimens, which were made with the variation of hardener and/or filler, were tested firstly. Then the long time voltage-to-time test was implemented. Finally, the long time breakdown voltage of each specimen was estimated with the parameters obtained from the statistical treatment with Weibull distribution. Base on the results, it has been found that the optimal weight ratio of epoxy resin/hardener/filler that has the excellent long time breakdown characteristic was 100/100/65. It was due to the silane treatment which relieves the electric field at the interface between filler and epoxy.

In this study, we investigated the effects of anodizing time, dyeing treatment time, and variations in coloring concentration on the color of an AA5052 alloy processed by dye-treated anodizing. The outward color of the anodized film changed to deep red according to increases in anodizing time, dyeing treatment time, and coloring concentration; accordingly, lightness $L^*$ decreased and saturation $a^*$ and $b^*$ increased. The concentration of the dye and the UV-visible absorbance showed a nearly perfect linear relationship, allowing a quantitative analysis of the absorbed dye. Because the quantity of absorbed dye increased as anodizing time, dyeing treatment time, and coloring concentration increased, the outward color of the anodized film deepened. In addition, from the GD-OES depth profile, we found that the dye was preferentially absorbed on the surface of the porous anodized film.
The control of the data retention time is a main issue for realizing future high density dynamic random access memory. There are several leakage current mechanisms in which the stored data disappears. The mechanisms of data disappear is as follow, 1 )Junction leakage current between the junction, 2) Junction leakage current from the capacitor node contact, 3)Sub-threshold leakage current if the transfer transistor is affected by gate etch damage etc. In this paper we showed the plasma edge damage effect to find out data retention time effectiveness. First we measured the transistor characteristics of forward and reverse bias. And junction leakage characteristics are measured with/without plasma damage by HP4145. Finally, we showed the comparison TRET with etch damage, damage_cure_RTP and hydrogen_treatment. As a result, hydrogen_treatment is superior than any other method in a curing plasma etch damage side.

Plasma Source Ion Implantation (PSII) technique was used for the hydrophilization or hydrophobization of polymer surfaces. Polymers were modified with different plasma gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and tetrafluoromethane, and for varying lengths of treatment time. Plasma ion treatment of oxygen, nitrogen, argon and their mixtures increased significantly the hydrophilic properties of polymer surfaces. More hydrophobic surfaces of polymers were formed after the treatment with tetrafluoromethane. A study of plasma source ion implanted polymers was performed using contact angle measurements and Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (TOF-SIMS). The TOF-SIMS spectra and depth profile were used to obtain the information about the treated surfaces of polymers. The permanence of this technique could be evaluated with respect to ageing time. The surfaces treated with PSII gave better stability than other surface modification methods.

The object space located in Seoul, Yangcheon-gu, Sinjung-dong and classified according to type of space-form. The measurement reverberation time at 500 Hz is 0.86~1.84sec. The simulated reverberation time at 500 Hz is decreased from 1.57sec to 0.57sec in ㅁshape type of 69% treatment with greening and 1.7sec to 0.89sec in ㄷshape type of 70% treatment and 1.05sec to 0.53sec in ㄴshape type of 61.6% treatment.
A differential refractive index detector was used for monitoring glucose contents in textile processing solutions. The sensitivity of the device was high enough to measure 0.05% aqueous glucose solution that could not be measured by normal refractive index measurement. The device was set to monitor glucose concentration continuously in real time by measuring differential refractive index and calibrated by standard glucose solutions in a range of 0.1 to 1.0%. The possibility of industrial application of the device was demonstrated by real-time monitoring of glucose concentration in textile processing solutions such as desizing bath and cellulase treatment bath. Both of solutions contained glucose as a major degraded product. The device would be able to control the weight loss of cellulosic fiber during cellulase treatment since the amount of degraded products in a processing bath is proportional to its weight loss.
This research was performed to investigate the transformation behavior and shape memory effect of Cu-13.5Al-4.5Ni(wt%) alloy with various aging temperature and time. The results obtained in this study are as follows: Transformation temperature was very increased when aging temperature is at $250^{\circ}C$. The variation of transformation temperature in first reverse transformation cycle and second was very significant, but there was little difference in case of 2nd and 3rd. Transformation temperature at various aging temperature was increased with increasing of aging temperature and time. Microvickers hardness was increased with increasing of aging temperature and time. It was found that ${\alpha}$ and ${\gamma}_2$ phase were created by aging of long time at high temperature.
