Hypertension has already become a serious health problem in many countries. Treatment is effective, however, and the detection and long-term management of those at risk pose sustained challenges. Community programs can be an important strategy for primary prevention of hypertention and for monitoring the progress and promoting compliance of hypertensive patients. Hwachon Health Demonstrain Project has designed community hypertention control program, especially emphasizing role of public health sector, and operate that model from 1990 at Hwachon county, Kwangwon province. This paper appraise the effectiveness of curent activities. Many paper appraise the effectiveness of curent activities. Many hypertensive persons who have not recognized his disease were identified and began hypertension treatment. However about two thirds of patients have not complied continuously with medical advice. Consequently, the project team redirects its efforts. Less emphasis is being placed screening and identification of patients, while more emphasis is being placed on increasing compliance with treatment recommendations. Some approches to improve hypertension control program are also discussed in the context of the field experience and literature on this suvjest.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report a case of nine-year-old female pediatric patient who had diagnosed as mesenteric lymphadenitis with abdominal pain. Methods : The patient was treated by acupunture (acupoint: Hegu(LI4), Zusanli(S36), Zhongwan(CV12), Tianshu (S25)), indirect moxibustion and herb medicine (Koakhyangjeonggisan-kamibang, Jakyakgamchotang Ex) for one week. We observed clinical progress. Result and conclusions : After oriental medical treatment, symptoms of mesenteric lymphadenitis (day and night abdominal pain, diarrhea) were improved. This study showed that oriental medicine can be a meaningful treatment for mesenteric lymphadenitis. For more accurate studies, further treatment cases would be needed.

With the progress of image-guided localization, body immobilization system, and computerized delivery of intensity-modulated radiation delivery, it became possible to perform spine radiosurgery. The next question is how to translate the high technology treatment to the clinical application. Clinical trials have been performed to demonstrate the feasibility of spine radiosurgery and efficacy of the treatment in the setting of spine metastasis, leading to the randomized trials by a cooperative group. Radiosurgery has also demonstrated its efficacy to decompress the spinal cord compression in selected group of patients. The experience indicates that spine radiosurgery has a potential to change the clinical practice in the management of spine metastasis and spinal cord compression.

Spinal subdural hematoma (SSDH) is an extremely uncommon condition. Causative factors include trauma, anticoagulant drug administration, hemostatic disorders, and vascular disorders such as arteriovenous malformations and lumbar punctures. Of SSDH cases, those that do not have any traumatic event can be considered cases of nontraumatic acute spinal subdural hematoma, which is known to have diverse clinical progress. Treatment typically consists of surgical decompression and cases in which the condition is relieved with conservative treatment are rarely reported. We report two nontraumatic acute spinal subdural hematoma patients who were successfully treated without surgery.

The precaution and treatment for cancer become inevitable with the rising of morbidity and mortality. In this article, a promising new methodology for cancer treatment, sono-dynamic therapy (SDT) was introduced. In addition, we extensively reviewed the molec-ular mechanisms of SDT killing cancer and summarized the classification of sonosensi-tizers. At the same time, research progress of SDT indicates that it is possible to become a developing field for cancer treatment in clinical application.

Dental care is becoming more available on the NHI(National Health Insurance) in Korea. Especially, complete denture, partial denture, dental scaling, and dental implant has been applied by NHI from 2012 to 2014. Although, the entire nation is not eligible for the benefit now, the more dental coverage of NHI is extended, the more regulaition is tightened. Essential documents for proof of correctness of dental treatment covered by NHI are dental records and the receipt book. Summary of regal regulation about them is as follows 1. Chief complaints of patients, diagnosis, progress, and act of treatment, drugs and materials of treatment, doctor's sign, date and hour should be placed accurately on dental record 2. Dental clinic should collect patients sharing of the dental cost covered by NHI. 3. Dental clinic should keep the receipt as proof of purchase of dental drugs or materials.

Mood disorder is a common psychiatric illness with a high lifetime prevalence in the general population. Many prescribed antidepressants modulate monoamine neurotransmitters including serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine. There has been greater focus on the major excitatory neurotransmitter in the human brain, glutamate, in the pathophysiology and treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD). Recently, ketamine, an N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist, has received attention and has been investigated for clinical trials and neurobiological studies. In this article, we will review the clinical evidence for glutamatergic dysfunction in MDD, the progress with ketamine as a rapidly acting antidepressant, and other N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist for treatment-resistant depression.

Objectives This clinical study was aimed to examine the effects of herbal medicine and acupuncture on early onset - essential tremor and report on the therapeutic progress. Methods Herbal medication (Kamiyangsintang) and acupuncture were used for treatment. Also, VAS scale were used to check the improvement. Results The hands tremor was relieved during 4 months of treatment. However, the symptom was aggravated after one and a half years. The patient has shown improvement after retreatment. Conclusions This study showed that child patient diagnosed with essential tremor who received Kamiyangsintang and acupuncture treatments was improved. However, it also can be aggravated depending on the patients and their body condition. More cases and long-term observation in relation to early onset of tremor are required.

The purpose of this study was to Investigate characteristics of the water soluble browning reaction products (WS-BRPs) from Korean red ginseng by heat treatment. Absorbance of WS- BRPs was increased with increases of heating temperature and time, but pH value were decreased In Muter color value L and b value were decreased, while a value was increased. and absorbance at 280 nm in spectrum of the WS-BRPs was increased according to the increase of heating temperature. When the WS-BRPs were applied on Bio-Gel P-30 column after heating and pH treatment, two majors browning products increased according to the progress on time. And pH 3.0 increased in quantity of high molecular fractions and pH 8.0 increased in quantity of low molecular fractions.

In general, the bubbling, generated during the fabrication of the tapes, breaks the superconducting filament, and critical current of the tapes will be decreased. Heat-treatment schemes of Bi-2223/Ag HTS tapes were modified, such as pre-annealing of multi-stacked billet, 2-step main sintering and ramp rate etc. The generation of bubbling was drastically decreased from 20 bubbles/m to 0 ~ 1 bubble/m by the modified heat-treatment. Therefore, the value of critical current of the tapes without bubbling was increased almost twice higher than that of already existing tapes. Critical current up to 42 A in 40 m length Bi-22231Ag tapes have been measured at 77K, self-field, 1$mutextrm{V}$/cm criterion. It could be confirmed that elimination of bubbling is effective to maintain the superconducting property along the tape length.
