With the increasing number of network nodes, traditional client/server node selection mechanisms are under tremendous pressure. In order to select efficient cooperative nodes in a highly dynamic P2P network topology, this article uses greedy algorithm to translate the overall optimization into multiple local optimal problems, and to quickly select service nodes. Therefore, the service node with the largest comprehensive capacity is selected to reduce the transmission delay and improve the throughput of the service node. The final simulation results show that the node selection strategy based on greedy algorithm can effectively improve the overall performance of P2P streaming media system.

This report includes an extensive bibliography of research articles investigating various facets of rearing neonatal piglets using liquid diets, and includes historical publications dating back to the 1940's. However, in order to provide concise and timely focus for application in modem swine production, only a selected number of recent findings are reviewed in detail. Collectively, the data presented illustrate that growth of piglets fed liquid diets can greatly exceed that of littermates fed dry diets and can even exceed growth rates of sow-reared controls (by up to 160%). The central questions that remain unanswered are: 1) Can this improved performance be obtained routinely and economically under applied farm conditions? and if so, 2) Does improved growth during the early-weaning period translate into improved net economic returns overall? Unfortunately, due to the current practical management constraints related to liquid-diet feeding (i.e., lack of an easy-to-manage feed delivery system), limited data are available which examine the efficacy of liquid-diet feeding under practical, commercial farm conditions.

Cancer registration provides a firm basis for cancer control efforts and research into changing patterns of incidence, mortality, survival and prevalence is of obvious importance. Most of the countries of Asia have already published relevant data although the level of coverage and accuracy do vary a great deal both between and within countries. The present review concerns the relevant literature for the period 2008-2013, focusing on the types of research conducted and the conclusions that can be drawn with regard to what should be done in the future to translate the information available into effective intervention efforts to reduce the burden of disease. A major emphasis has been on determining variation in incidence and mortality/survival on the basis of ethnicity and socioeconomic as well as geographical background, as well as trends over time, either for cancer in general or specific organ sites. In addition a small number of papers focused on methodological, quality and cancer control issues, very pertinent to the future development of cancer registry based research.

For the first time ever in its history, the United States has a national version for K-12 mathematics programs, the Com-mon Core State Standards for Mathematics. Since its final version appeared in 2010 in the United States, the Common Core State Standards have started getting much attention from the Korean mathematics and mathematics education communities. Although attempts have been made to translate the original text of the stan-dards, the information such as the paradigm shift that led to the development of the standards, design principles and a comparison with the NCTM Standards would aid understating the standards in the intended way and avoiding unnecessary confusion.

Ujaegyeong(尤在涇) is a doctor of the Cheong Dynasty[淸代], whose works include "Geumgweyoryaksimjeon", "Shanghangwanjujip(傷寒貫珠集)", and "Uihakdokseogi(醫學讀書記)". Much research has been done on "Geumgweyoryaksimjeon" and "Shanghangwanjujip", but "Uihakdokseogi" has seen relatively little interest. This study aims to translate the first volume of "Uihakdokseogi" and compare the work with other literature in order to gain a better understanding of Ujaegyeong(尤在涇)'s medical theories and to review the viability of the said theories in practice. "Uihakdokseogi" is a casual work which mentions U's thoughts on various problems found through extensive studying or in practice. The book does not focus on a single topic. Thus, the spectrum of the work is broad and is filled with problems which would interest most medical professionals.

At shipyards, to enable design cooperation with engineering companies or to meet ship owner's requirements, there is a need to translate ship models from one ship CAD system to another ship CAD system. In this paper, a method for translating pipe models from Aveva Marine to SmartMarine3D is introduced. Related data and architecture of translation system are addressed and specific details to be considered during translation are explained. The introduced method has been implemented and tested in a shipyard.

Online image dictionary has become more and more popular in concepts cognition. However, for existing online systems, only very few images are manually picked to demonstrate the concepts. Currently, there is very little research found on automatically choosing large scale online images with the help of semantic analysis. In this paper, we propose a novel framework to utilize community-generated online multimedia content to visually illustrate certain concepts. Our proposed framework adapts various techniques, including the correlation analysis, semantic and visual clustering to produce sets of high quality, precise, diverse and representative images to visually translate a given concept. To make the best use of our results, a user interface is deployed, which displays the representative images according the latent semantic coherence. The objective and subjective evaluations show the feasibility and effectiveness of our approach.

In front of the opening of electric distribution market in 2004. it is indispensable to have a proper estimation of power quality index and power quality cost calculation mechanism are indispensable to stabilize highly industrialized society and to vitalize the investment for electric power system. However, there were not enough measures to reflect the voltage characteristics such as voltage sags and interruptions which make electric load in unstable operation. This paper suggests power quality index(LDI) and power quality cost(LDC) which translate various kinds of voltage records into load drop index and cost based on aggregated load CBEMA curve. A sample calculation result shows that this method can produces the acceptable power quality index and costs for utilities and customers requirements.

This paper describes algorithms for the method to generate motions automatically. There are many efforts to generate motions with assistance from computers. But almost of these are methods for generating motions from scratch using computers - generally called "Computer Generated Animation". We propose a method called "Computer Aided Animation" which is a tool to help in animator generating motions. Many motions in cartoonized animation are included with impossible motions for human. Animation makes these motions based on knowledge of experimental techniques. The method in this paper works like a filter in the field of image processing. We call this method "Motion Filter". Motion Filter accepts captured motions from motion capture system and translate these motions to emphasized-cartoonized-motions.

An analog signal conditioner using fuzzy logic technique, which has multiple-input and multiple-output terminals, is proposed in this paper. The proposed signal conditioner can be employed to linearly translate the level of signals to a standard voltage signal (1-5V) and convert the form of signals to a standard current signal (4-20mA). The implementation method based on the use of a commercial 8-bit microcontroller, the analog-to-digital (A/D) converters, the digital-to-analog (D/A) converters and the voltage-to-current (V/I) converter. The simulation result and the experimental results are presented, which further confirm the feasibility of this approach.
