홀로그래픽 데이터 저장장치 시스템에서 오류요인에 따른 LDPC 곱부호의 성능 (Performance of LDPC Product Code According to Error Factors on Holographic Data Storage System)

  • 홀로그래픽 데이터 저장장치 시스템은 데이터를 줄 단위로 처리하는 것이 아닌 홀로그래픽 매질에 페이지 단위로 처리하기 때문에 빠른 접근 시간, 고용량, 높은 전송 속도의 장점을 갖는다. 하지만 고밀도 저장장치일수록 물리적인 영향에 의해 발생되는 연집오류의 길이는 기존의 저장장치보다 더욱 크다. 본 논문에서는 두 개의 LDPC 부호를 이용한 곱부호 방식을 사용하여 연집오류의 해결 성능을 알아본다. 제안하는 곱부호는 유사한 코드율 일 때, 코드율이 낮은 하나의 LDPC를 사용하는 하는것 보다 코드율이 높은 두개의 LDPC 부호를 이용하는 것이 더 좋은 성능을 보였다. 또한 2차원 인접 심볼간 간섭 및 어긋남이 발생하여도 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.

VARTM 공정에서 수지 함침에 따른 섬유체적율 변화의 측정 및 현상학적 모델링 연구 (Experimental and Phenomenological Modeling Studies on Variation of Fiber Volume Fraction during Resin Impregnation in VARTM)

  • VARTM 공정에서 고분자 수지가 함침 될 때 시간에 따라 섬유보강재가 팽창하여 섬유체적율이 감소하는 현상이 발생한다. 풍력 블레이드와 같은 대형 복합재료 구조물의 경우 섬유체적율의 변동 폭이 커져 제품의 치수가 변하고 기계적 물성이 저하될 뿐 아니라 예측하지 못한 고분자 수지의 사용량이 증가하는 등의 문제점과 경제적인 손실이 발생할 여지가 증가할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 VARTM 공정에서 수지 함침에 따른 섬유 보강재의 팽창 현상에 관한 분석을 통하여 복합재료 액상 성형 공정에서의 섬유 체적율을 조절하는 방안을 모색하였다. 그 결과 유동 선단의 진행에 따라 섬유의 팽창 현상이 크게 두 단계로 구분되어 나타나는 것을 확인하였고 각각의 단계에서 작용하는 힘을 분석함으로써 섬유의 체적율 변화에 관한 현상학적 모델을 제시하였고 1차원 편미분 수치 해석과 연계하여 VARTM공정에서 수지 함침에 따른 섬유 체적율의 변화를 예측하였다.

Kinetics of Malonyl-CoA Synthetase from Rhizobium trifolii and Evidences for Malonyl-AMP Formation as a Reaction Intermediate

  • The catalytic mechanism of malonyl-CoA synthetase from Rhizobium trifolii was investigated by the steady state kinetics and intermediate identification. Initial velocity studies and the product inhibition studies with AMP and PPi strongly suggested ordered Bi Uni Uni Bi Ping-Pong Ter Ter system as the most probable steady state kinetic mechanism of malonyl-CoA synthetase. Michaelis constants were $0.17{\pm}0.04 {\mu}M,\;0.24{\pm}0.18 {\mu}M\;and\;0.045{\pm}0.26 {\mu}$M for ATP, malonate and CoA, respectively. The TLC analysis of the $^{32}P-labelled$ products in reaction mixture containing $[{\gamma}-^{32}P]$ ATP in the absence of CoA showed that PPi was produced after the sequential addition of ATP and malonate. Formation of malonyl-AMP, suggested as an intermediate in the kinetically deduced mechanism, was confirmed by the analysis of $^{31}P-NMR$ spectra of AMP product isolated from the $^{18}O$ transfer experiment using $[^{18}O]$malonate. Two resonances were observed, corresponding to AMP labelled with zero and one atom of $^{18}O$, indicating that one atom of $^{18}O$ transferred from $[^{18}O]$malonate to AMP through the formation of malonyl-AMP. Formation of malonyl-AMP was also confirmed through the TLC analysis of reaction mixture containing $[{\alpha}-^{32}P]$ATP. These results strongly support the ordered Bi Uni Uni Bi Ping-Pong Ter Ter mechanism deduced from the initial velocity and product inhibition studies.

자동차 난방 시트의 구조에 따른 열응력 해석에 대한 융합 연구 (Convergence Study on the Thermal Stress According to the Structure of Automotive Heating Seat)

  • 자동차 운전석의 따뜻하고 쾌적한 요구가 증가하고 있기 때문에 난방 시트의 연구 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 세 가지의 난방 시트 모델 A, B, C를 가지고 열응력해석과 구조해석을 시행하였다. 똑같은 재질로 열해석을 함으로서, 연구 결과에서는 모델 A가 모델 B나 모델 C보다 더 좋은 열전달을 가짐을 보여주었다. 이로써 모델들이 제품의 형상에 따라 같은 재질을 가졌다고 하더라도 열전달들이 서로 다른 것을 알 수 있었다. 더 안정적인 난방을 기대하기 위해 열선을 추가하는 것은 더 좋은 난방이 될 수 있지만 제품의 가격대비 성능을 고려한 측면에서 한계가 있다. 전반적으로 모든 면에서 모델 B가 모델 A나 모델 C보다 열적으로 가장 안전하다고 사료된다. 본 연구결과에 의하여 취득한 내구성과 안정성 있는 자동차 난방 시트 제품의 설계데이터를 사용하여 자동차 운전석에 융합하여 그 예술적인 분위기를 조성할 수 있다.

Fashion Category Oversampling Automation System

  • 국내 온라인 패션 플랫폼은 개인사업자가 제품정보를 직접 등록하기 때문에 개인사업자의 불편함을 초래한다. 많은 제품군을 한꺼번에 수동 등록하므로 수기 입력된 제품정보로 인한 신뢰성 문제가 발생한다. 등록된 상품 이미지의 저품질 및 데이터 수의 불균형으로 인한 편향도 심각하게 제기된다. 본 연구는 오버샘플링 기법을 통해 데이터 편향을 최소화하고 13개 패션 카테고리의 다중 분류를 수행하는 ResNet50 모델을 제안한다. 컴퓨팅 자원과 오랜 학습시간을 최소화하기 위해 전이학습을 활용했다. 결과적으로, 데이터 수가 매우 부족했던 클래스의 데이터 증강을 통해 기본 CNN 모델에 비해 최대 33.4%의 향상된 식별력을 보여주었다. 모든 결과의 신뢰성은 정밀도-재현율 곡선으로 보장한다. 본 연구는 국내 온라인 패션 플랫폼 산업의 발전을 한 단계 끌어올릴 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

위편조직(緯編組織)의 물성(物性)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study of the Physical Properties of Weft Knit Fabrics)

  • Knit products which had been limited only to underwear, recently became popularized, fashionized and highly classified covering even outer garments such as sportswear like golfwear, woman's dress, and man' s suit. As fashion cycle is getting shorter and the more a nation advanced prefers knit to woven fabrics knit industry has a very bright prospect, particularly woman's knit which is sensitive to fashion can be said as a fashion product with high value added. This study is to grasp the physical properties of stitch which are fundamental to the development of knit products. For this purpose, 2/20s of 100% wool were woven by the author of this study to basic plain stitch, rib stitch, varied transfer stitch, and float stitch on a SEMASEIKI cross knitter 7G to test the physical properties, and the result was as follows; 1. As for the relation between knit stitch and rate of extension recovery, rate of extension recovery was higher in the course direction than in the wale direction of three stitches except transfer stitch; rib stitch showed the highest rate of extension recovery in the course direction while float stitch showed the highest rate of extension recovery in the wale direction. 2. As for the relation between knit stitch and bursting strength elastic rib stitch showed higher bursting strength to indicate elasticity is an important factor of bursting strength and float stitch showed higher bursting strength too to indicate that the floating yarn on the surface plays a role of support. 3. As for the relation between knit stitch and air permeability perforated transfer stitch showed the lowest air permeability to prove that the size of perforation affects on the air permeability a great deal. 4. As for the relation between knit stitch and warmth retaining rib stitch through two lined needle bar showed the highest degree. The reason the warmth of perforated transfer stitch didn't decrease much was because the perforation wasn't big enough and content of air increased from the unevenness of the perforated parts through stitch variation. Based upon this result, each stitch can be characteristically summarized as follows; plain stitch showed a stable condition of knit cloth in four kinds of physical property test. And rib stitch is proper to tighten the edge of sleeve or clothe making use of its excellent extension recovery and to make socks for the highest bursting strength and warmth retaining. In the case of transfer stitch, seasonable designs can be taken by controlling the size of loop. Considering the pleasantness, underwear should be made of stitches with good air permeability float stitch was revealed to have color and pattern effects and a great bursting strength. This study has limitations in the aspect that it dealed with a small part of various knit stitches and the items of physical property test were not enough. The author of this study hopes that further studies would make deeper understandings about knit stitch based on more varied stitches and physical property tests ultimately to contribute to the development of fashionable designs proper to maximize the usage, function and originality.

Glucose Oxidase-Coated ZnO Nanowires for Glucose Sensor Applications

  • Well-aligned Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowires were synthesized on silicon substrates by a carbothermal evaporation method using a mixture of ZnO and graphite powder with Au thin film was used as a catalyst. The XRD results showed that as-prepared product is the hexagonal wurzite ZnO nanostructure and SEM images demonstrated that ZnO nanowires had been grown along the [0001] direction with hexagonal cross section. As-grown ZnO nanowires were coated with glucose oxidase (GOx) for glucose sensing. Glucose converted into gluconic acid by reaction with GOx and two electrons are generated. They transfer into ZnO nanowires due to the electric force between electrons and the positively charged ZnO nanostructures in PBS. Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy was employed for investigating the movements of electrons, and the peak PL intensity increased with the glucose concentration and became saturated when the glucose concentration is above 10 mM. These results demonstrate that ZnO nanostructures have potential applications in biosensors.

연구개발 및 생산 체계와 연계한 기술기획 설계를 위한 요구사항에 관한 연구 (Requirements for Design of Technology Planning in Connection with R&D and Production System)

  • In existing technology planning, there is lack of considerations such as technology fusion, users' requirements of future, gap analysis between technology development and production, and industrialization process of development technology, that is, technology diffusion and technology transfer strategy. The most noticeable thing is that there is an obvious transition from supplier-centered to consumer-centered in the development of service or product because users' needs are getting a diverse and high level with the paradigm change of industry and society in the 21st century. So it is very important to design effectively a technology planning system under integration of R&D-production-sales system for satisfaction of customers' various choices. In this paper, we present considerations being required strategically in technology planning through analysis of mutual relationship and interface between technology planning, R&D and production system.

열 방출률에 대한 마이크로 백금 촉매 연소기의 치수 설계 기준 (Design Criterion for the Size of Micro-scale Pt-catalytic Combustor in Respect of Heat Release Rate)

  • Design criterion for the size of micro Pt-catalytic combustor is investigated in terms of heat release rate. One-dimensional plug flow model is applied to determine the surface reaction constants using the experimental data at stoichiometric butane-air mixture. With these reaction constants, the mass fraction of butane and heat release rate predicted by the plug flow model are in good agreement with the experimental data at the combustor exit. The relationship between the size of micro catalytic combustor and mixture flowrate is introduced in the form of product of two terms-the effect of fuel conversion efficiency, and the effect of chemical reaction rate and mass transfer rate.

Synthesis and luminescence properties of SrS:Eu red phosphors by solid state method

  • We have synthesized SrS:Eu red phosphor by solid state method and investigated to adopt a red phosphor for LEDs. The SrS:Eu phosphor shows broad emission band at 600nm region due to f-d energy transfer of $Eu^{2{\cdot}}$. Our results show that the SrS:Eu red phosphor exhibits the better luminescence efficiency than that of the industrially available product SrS:Eu phosphor.
