These days the researches using IT technologies have been done to decrease the traffic accident. Especially, the optimal safety speed considering the weather conditions have to be calculated in real time to protect the traffic accident on the high way in the case of the rain and snow. In this paper, we have simulated the automatic warning broadcasting system for the freezing and foggy regions based on Web to protect the traffic accident. Also, we have developed the simulator that can provide the drivers with the optimal safety speed in real time to protect the traffic accident even under the worst weather conditions using the Fuzzy Reasoning rules.

This paper describes the packet traffic management of the Ubiquitous Healthcare System. In this system, ECG signal and accelerometer signal is transmitted from a wearable health shirt (WHS) to the base station. However, with the increment of users in this system, traffic over-load issue occurs. The main aim of this paper is to reduce the traffic over-load issue between sensor nodes by only transmitting the required signals to the base station when irregular activities are observed. In order to achieve this, in-network processing is adapted where the process of observation is conducted inside the sensor node of WHS. Results shows that irregular activities such as fall can be detected on real-time inside the sensor node and thus resolves traffic over-load issue.
We intend to collect and analyze traffic efficiently in order to detect copyright infringement that illegally share contents on Tor network. We have designed and implemented a Tor traffic collection system using multiple virtual machines. We use a number of virtual machines and Mini PCs as clients to connect to Tor network, and automate both the collection and refinement processes in the traffic collection server through script-based test client software. Through this system, only the necessary field data on Tor network can be stored in the database, and only 95% or more of recognition of Tor traffic is achieved.

Even though cars have a good effect on modern society, traffic accidents do not. There are traffic laws that define the regulations and aim to reduce accidents from happening; nevertheless, it is hard to determine all accident causes such as road and traffic conditions, and human related factors. If a traffic accident occurs, the traffic law classifies it as 'Negligence of Safe Driving' for cases that are not defined by specific regulations. Meanwhile, as Korea is already growing rapidly elderly population with more than 65 years, so are the number of traffic accidents caused by this group. Therefore, we studied predictive and comparative analysis of the number of traffic accidents caused by 'Negligence of Safe Driving' by dividing it into two groups : All-ages and Elderly. In this paper, we used empirical monthly data from 2007 to 2015 collected by TAAS (Traffic Accident Analysis System), identified the most suitable ARIMA forecasting model by using the four steps of the Box-Jenkins method : Identification, Estimation, Diagnostics, Forecasting. The results of this study indicate that ARIMA $(1, 1, 0)(0, 1, 1)_{12}$ is the most suitable forecasting model in the group of All-ages; and ARIMA $(0, 1, 1)(0, 1, 1)_{12}$ is the most suitable in the group of Elderly. Then, with this fitted model, we forecasted the number of traffic accidents for 2 years of both groups. There is no large fluctuation in the group of All-ages, but the group of Elderly shows a gradual increase trend. Finally, we compared two groups in terms of the forecast, suggested a countermeasure plan to reduce traffic accidents for both groups.
Following the extension of human life expectancy, the number of elderly traffic accidents that have been increasing at a rapid pace since 2018 has also emerged as a social problem. The traffic accident rate among those aged 65 and older is increasing, but traffic safety policies are insufficient. Based on the analysis of traffic accident status for senior citizens and traffic accident for the past five years from 2014, the reduction plan is to be presented in three main aspects. First, the system needs systematic management by strengthening the system of senior citizens' transport policy departments and driver's license for senior citizens in government agencies, such as the United States, Britain and Japan, from an institutional perspective, so that the walking time and crosswalk traffic environment for the vulnerable should be improved from an environmental perspective. In addition, in human terms, the ability to cope with real-time changes in traffic conditions should be enhanced by training transportation safety experts to secure the effectiveness of education for elderly drivers and by strengthening safety education for those with driver's license and expanding experienced traffic safety facilities to enhance the ability of senior citizens to cope with the changing traffic conditions in real time.

This paper established the range of the wavelength of traffic lights to detection the color of traffic lights and the color component segmentation with the range of the wavelength. Development of traffic light automatic discrimination system is consists of the color detection and the traffic lights recognition. In this thesis, it established the range of the wavelength of traffic lights to detection the color of traffic lights and the color segmentation with the range of the wavelength. By the segmentation, the traffic light colors(red, orange and green) can be detected and the background is changed into gray image. Next, we proposed the algorithm which can detect the area of traffic lights in the various surroundings with the wavelet transformation algorithm. Also, we proposed traffic lights recognition algorithm using between the edge operator and the Hausdorff distance algorithm based on CBIR(Content-based Image retrieval). Therefore, the proposed algorithm is more superior to the conventional algorithm by experimenting with the illumination including the traffic lights and the backgrounds with various images.

As an essential part of the urban transportation system, precise perception of the traffic flow parameters at the traffic signal intersection ensures traffic safety and fully improves the intersection's capacity. Traditional detection methods of road traffic flow parameter can be divided into the micro and the macro. The microscopic detection methods include geomagnetic induction coil technology, aerial detection technology based on the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and camera video detection technology based on the fixed scene. The macroscopic detection methods include floating car data analysis technology. All the above methods have their advantages and disadvantages. Recently, indoor location methods based on wireless signals have attracted wide attention due to their applicability and low cost. This paper extends the wireless signal indoor location method to the outdoor intersection scene for traffic flow parameter estimation. In this paper, the detection scene is constructed at the intersection based on the received signal strength indication (RSSI) ranging technology extracted from the wireless signal. We extracted the RSSI data from the wireless signals sent to the road side unit (RSU) by the vehicle nodes, calibrated the RSSI ranging model, and finally obtained the traffic flow parameters of the intersection entrance road. We measured the average speed of traffic flow through multiple simulation experiments, the trajectory of traffic flow, and the spatiotemporal map at a single intersection inlet. Finally, we obtained the queue length of the inlet lane at the intersection. The simulation results of the experiment show that the RSSI ranging positioning method based on wireless signals can accurately estimate the traffic flow parameters at the intersection, which also provides a foundation for accurately estimating the traffic flow state in the future era of the Internet of Vehicles.

To investigate the effect of snowfall on the traffic of general roads in Gangwon-do, case analysis was performed in Gangneung, Pyeongchang, and Chuncheon using ASOS (Automated Synoptic Observing System) snowfall data and VDS (Vehicle Detector System) traffic data. First, we analyzed how much the traffic volume and speed decrease in snowfall cases on regional roads compared to non-snow cases, and the characteristics of monthly reduction due to snowfall were investigated. In addition, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed to quantitatively grasp the effect of snowfall on traffic volume and speed, and sensitivity tests for snowfall intensity and cumulative snowfall were performed. The results showed that the amount of snowfall caused decrease both in the traffic volume and speed from usual (non-snowfall) condition. However, the trend was different by region: The decrease rate in traffic volume was in the order of Gangneung (17~22%), Chuncheon (14~17%), and Pyeongchang (11~14%). The decrease rate in traffic speed was in the order of Chuncheon (9~10%), Gangneung (8~9%), Pyeongchang (5~6%). No significant results were found in the monthly decrease rate analysis. In all regions, traffic volume and speed showed a negative correlation with snowfall. It was confirmed that the greater the amount of traffic entering the road, the greater the slope of the trend line indicating the change in snowfall due to the traffic volume. As a result of the sensitivity test for snowfall intensity and cumulative snowfall, the snowfall information at intervals of 6-hours was the most significant.

Intrusion Detection System that protects system safely is necessary as network technology is developed rapidly and application division is wide. Intrusion Detection System among others can construct system without participation of other severs. But it has weakness that big load in system happens and it has low efficient because every traffics are inspected in case that mass traffic happen. In this study, Distributed Intrusion Detection System based on protocol is proposed to reduce traffic of intrusion detection system and provide stabilized intrusion detection technique even though mass traffic happen. It also copes to attack actively by providing automatic update of using rules to detect intrusion in sub Intrusion Detection System.
As a domestic traffic control signal system, either the system with which a traffic signal turns into green at regular intervals or the system with which an amber or a red signal flickers on local roads without heavy traffic at midnight has been utilized. However, when the former system is used for roads with light traffic at midnight, delays and congestion can be incurred. Besides, in case of the latter signal system, the risk of vehicle crash is high. This study proposes a response type of flickering green signal system that rearranges signal system after analyzing beacon messages including sensor data. The proposed system, on a trunk road or a branch road at midnight, makes the signal keep flickering in green; When a vehicle enters the range of RSE, the transfer coverage, it transmits beacon messages regularly and Agent System analyzes the messages and alters the signal. It is a system by which vehicles move following the altered signal system, which will not only ensure smooth flow but also prevent vehicles from crashing on a road with light traffic. As a result of a simulation, traffic throughput and the average waiting time displayed 10 to 30 percent better improvement than existing signal systems, in terms of performance.
