젊은 성인 남자 근로자들에 있어서 음주, 흡연, 비만도와 혈중 지질과의 관련성에 관한 조사 연구 (A Study of The Relationship between Alcohol Intake, Smoking, Relative Weight and Serum Lipids Level in Young Adult Male Workers)

  • In order to study the relationship between life-style and serum lipids level in young adults, the author measured the concentration of serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and investigated age, relative weight, weekly alcohol intake and daily cigarette smoking through questionnaire in 310 male workers aged 20 to 39, in Ulsan area. The results obtained were as follows: 1. In the factors being able to influence serum lipids level there was negative correlation between age and alcohol intake, and the positive correlation between age and relative weight, alcohol intake and relative weight, alcohol intake and smoking with the strongest correlation between alcohol intake and smoking. 2. In univariate analysis, mean total cholesterol concentration were significantly different according to age, smoking and relative weight: mean triglyceride concentration were significantly different according to relative weight only; mean HCL-C concentration were significantly different according to alcohol intake alone. 3. In non-drinkers, HDL-C concentration of smokers were significantly lower than that of non-smokers but triglyceride concentration of smokers were significant higher. And in drinkers, total cholesterol concentration of smokers was significantly higher than that of non-smokers. 4. In multiple regression analysis, significant independent variables were relative weight, age and smoking in the total cholesterol concentration, and relative weight, age and alcohol intake in the triglyceride concentration, and alcohol intake, relative weight and smoking in the HDL-C concentration. By these independent variables, total variation in each dependent variable was explained 7.9%, 17.6% and 7.4% respectively.

양파 에틸 아세테이트 분획이 고콜레스테롤식이를 섭취한 흰쥐의 지질대사에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Ethylacetate Fraction of Onion on Lipid Metabolism in High Cholesterol-Fed Rats)

  • 1% 콜레스테롤과 0.25% 콜산나트륨을 첨가한 고콜레스테롤혈증 유발식이와 양파 에틸아세테이트 분획농도 수준을 달리하여 6주간 흰쥐에 급여하여 고콜레스텐롤혈증에 미치는 영향을 실험하였다. 고콜레스테롤식이만을 급여한 군은 대조군에 비하여 높은 체중증가율을 나타냈으나 양파 에틸아세티이트 분획 급여시 대조군에 비하여 감소의 경향을 보였는데, 특히 10% 급여군은 대조군에 비하여 체중증가율이 유의성있게 둔화되었으나 식이효율에는 유의적인 차이가 관찰되지 않았다. 신장과 심장의 중량에는 양파 에틸아세테이트분획 급여가 별다른 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 간장의 중량에서는 양파 에틸아세테이트 분획 급여 전군이 대조군에 비하여 유의성있게 중량이 감소되었다. 혈청 중의 총콜레스테롤, LDL-콜레스테롤은 양파음료급여군이 고콜레스테롤식이만을 급여한 군에 비하여 용략의존적으로 감소 T고 HDL-콜레스테롤은 증가되었는데, 특히 10% 급여군은 고콜레스테롤식이만을 급여한 군에 비하여 약 71%, 정상군에 비하여 약 30%이상 큰 폭의 증가효과를 나타내었다. 또한 HDL-콜레스테롤/LDL-콜레스테롤의 비율도 많이 증가되었고 동맥경화지수도 감소되었는데 특히 10% 급여의 경우 정상군의 지수보다도 낮은 결과를 나타내므로서 고콜레스테롤혈증 개선효과가 뚜렷한 것으로 사료된다. 유리 콜레스테롤 및 중성 지질함량에는 양파 에틸아세테이트 분획 급여가 대조군에 비하여 6주간의 급여기간내에서는 감소효과를 보이지 않았으나, 콜레스테롤 에스테르함량은 큰 폭으로 감소되었고 인지질의 경우 유의적이지는 않았으나 증가되는 경향을 나타냄으로서 지방간 진행을 억제할 수 있을 것으로 여겨진다. 이상의 실험결과에서 양파 에틸아세테이트 분획 급여시 고콜레스테롤식이만을 급여한 군에 비하여 간장의 중량, 총콜레스테롤, LDL-콜레스테롤농도 및 중성지질농도 등은 감소되었고, HDL-콜레스테롤, 인지질농도 등은 증가되므로써 양파 음료가 지방간 및 동맥경화의 예방과 치료에 효과적일 것으로 사료된다.로 사료된다.

어유 및 종자유의 급이가 흰쥐의 혈청 지질 성분에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Fish Oil and Some Seed Oils on Lipid Composition of Serum in Rats)

  • n-3계 EPA 및 DHA를 함유하고 있는 어유 및 $\alpha$- linoleic acid 함량이 많은 들깨유와 n-6계 linoleic acid 의 함량이 많은 옥수수유 및 고추종자유, n-6계 inoleic acid 함량이 많고 ${\gamma}$-linoleic acid를 약 10% 함유한 달맞이꽃종자유가 흰쥐의 혈청 지질 개선에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 혈청 지질 성분을 분석한 결과, 총콜레스테롤 농도는 어유, 들깨유, 옥수수유 급여군이 대조군인 올리브유 급여군 보다 낮은 반면 고추종 자유, 달맞이꽃종자유 급여군에서 높았다. HDL-콜레스테롤 농도는 고추종자유, 달맞이꽃종자유 급여군에서 약간 높게 나타났다. 총콜레스테롤에 대한 HDL-콜레스테롤 농도비는 전 실험군에서 대조군보다 높았다. 유리콜레스테롤은 고추종자유 급여군을 제외한 전 실험군에서 대조군에 비하여 유의성있게 낮았으며 특히 어유, 들깨유 및 옥수수유 급여군에서 더욱 낮게 나타났다. 콜레스테롤 에스테르 농도는 n-6계 다불포화지방산 함량이 많은 고추종자유, 달맞이꽃종자유 군에서 높았다. 총콜레스테롤에 대한 콜레스테롤 에스테르 농도비는 대조군인 올리브유 급여군(62%)보다 전 실험군(70.0%~74.4%)에서 높게 나타났다. 인지질 농도는 어유 및 들깨유 급여군에서 낮았고, 중성지질 농도는 대조군에 비해 들깨유, 어유, 달맞이꽃종자유 군에서 현저히 낮았다. LCAT 활성은 대조군보다 돈지 급여군에서 높은 반면, 다른 실험군에서는 낮게 나타났다.

  • 목 적 : IVIG은 다양한 면역 질환에서 면역 조절제로 사용되고 있다. 가와사끼병에서 고용량의 IVIG 투여가 단백과 지질을 포함한 다양한 생화학적 지표에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : IVIG(2 g/kg)을 투여받은 12 명의 가와사끼병 환아에 대해 IVIG 투여 전, 2시간, 24시간 및 7일 후에 혈청을 분리하고 $-20^{\circ}C$에 냉동보관하였다. 대조군으로 20명의 같은 연령군의 건강한 아동 혈청을 이용하였다. 결 과 : 알부민은 IVIG 투여 2시간 및 24시간 후 유의한 감소를 보였으며, 7일 후에는 투여 전 수준으로 회복되었다. 총 콜레스테롤과 트리글리세라이드는 7일 후 증가하는 경향을 보였다. HDL-콜레스테롤과 CRP 치는 IVIG 투여 2시간과 24시간 후 유의한 감소를 보였다. 결 론: 가와사끼병 환아에 투여된 고용량의 IVIG는 단시간 내에 단백 지표들과 HDL-콜레스테롤 치의 변화를 가져온다. HDL-콜레스테롤의 변화는 전신적인 단백 대사의 변화에 의할 것으로 보인다.

  • 체내 cholesterol 수치를 낮추기 위하여 HMG-CoA reductase 활성을 저해하는 물질들을 닭에게 급여하여 in vitro상에서 검토한 결과, HMG-CoA reductase 활성에 대한 마늘, lovastatin과 copper의 순으로 저해능은 51.3%, 87.5%, 82.0%이었다. 또한 혈장, 가슴조직, 간장의 cholesterol 함량에 대한 마늘(3% in diet), lovastatin(300mg/Kg of diet), copper(200mg/Kg of diet)의 효과를 검토하였다. 혈장 중의 cholesterol 함량과 HDL, LDL cholesterol 함량은 3% 마늘의 투여로 감소되어졌으나 copper의 투여는 오히려 증가하였고, lovastatin 투여에 의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 그리고 간장과 가슴조직의 cholesterol과 triglyceride는 사료에 cholestrol의 수치를 저하시키는 물질을 첨가하였으나 별다른 차이가 없었다.

항혈전작용 및 콜레스테롤 대사에 관한 흰쥐 식이내 삶은 계란 급여 효과 (Effects of the Dietary Boiled Eggs on the Antithrombotic Activity and Cholesterol Metabolism in Rats)

  • The influence of the ditary containing boiled eggs on the plasma cholesterol level and antithrombotic activity in rats was studied. Rats were fed basal diet(0% boiled eggs) as a control group or diets containing 25% and 50% boiled eggs or a mixed diet with 95% boiled eggs plus 5% $\alpha$-cellulose powder as a experimental groups for 30 days. The bleeding time and whole blood clotting time were significantly(P<0.05) increased by feeding diet containing 25% boiled eggs compared to groups of basal diet, 50% or 95% boiled eggs diets. The plasma clotting time was high in group of 25% boiled eggs diet. However, there were no difference in plasma clotting time among rats fed the dietary boiled eggs. The levels of plasma total cholesterol(TC) and low density plus very low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL, VLDL-C) were significantly(P<0.05) highest in group 95% boiled eggs diet compared to others. There were no differences in high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) among rats fed the dietary boiled eggs. The levels of plasma TC, HDL-C, LDL$.$VLDL-C and the ratios of HDL-C/TC were not significant among the basal diet, 25% and 50% boiled eggs diets. These results suggest that the intakes of the dietary boiled eggs have the antithrombotic activity and plasma cholesterol lowering effect.

체질량지수에 따른 일부 농촌지역 여자대학생의 혈청 크롬과 혈당 및 지질과의 상관관계연구 (Relationship of Serum Chrominum with Serum Lipids and Blood Glucose Level in Rural College Women)

  • Chrominum (cr) plays an important role in carbohydrate and lipid metabolism , and Cr deficiency impairs glucose tolerance and increases serum cholestero and triglyceride. The relationship of serum Cr with serum blucose and lipids was examined in 79 female college students in Choong-Nam areas. Subjects were divided into underweight , normal , and overweight groups according to their BMI. The average age, wiegth , height and BMI were 21.9yr, 55.9kg, 158.5cm and 22.6kg/$m^2$, respectively. Heights were not different between groups. Serum Cr and glucose concentrations werenot significantly different between groups. However, there was a tendency toward lowered serum Cr levels in under and over-weight groups. Serum cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol concentrations were significant lower in the underweight group than in other groups. BMI had positive correlation with LDL-cholesterol , AI and LPH , and negative corelations with HDL -cholesterol /total cholesterol ratio. Low serum Cr concentration was related to increased LDL-cholesterol and total cholesterol, and related to decreased HDL cholesterol in all groups . Therfore, serum Cr levels were lowered in abnormal weight groups and Cr may playan important role in coronrary heart diesease.

두충(杜沖) 전탕액(煎湯液)이 흰쥐의 혈청(血淸) 지질(脂質) 대사(代謝)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Cortex Eucommiae drink water from cholesterol-induced on lipid metabolism in rats)

  • The effects of 3% Cortex Eucommiae extracts on serum lipid contents were evaluated in rats. Forty-two male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing $100{\pm}10g$ were divided into seven groups and fed different fat diets for four weeks. Each group was administered with following group: Control, basal fat diet, saturated fat diet and unsaturated fat diet respectively was fed 1% cholesterol, Cortex Eucommiae extracts 3%. The contents of serum lipid contents triglyceride in the basal fat diet group were higher than those of control group. The contents of total-cholesterol in serum of the saturated fat diet group was significantly higher than other group. The contents of HDL-cholesterol in serum of the 3% Cortex Eucommiae extract group were higher than those other fat diet group. The contents of LDL-cholesterol in serum of the 3% Cortex Eucommiae ex1ract group was lower than other fat diet groups. These results suggest that 3% Cortex Eucommiae extract group may reduced elevated levels of serum lipid contents in rats different fed fat diet.

급원과 분자량이 다른 Chitosan 과 N, O-Carboxymethyl Chitosan이 지방대사에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Chitosan and N. O-Carboxymethyl Chitosan of Different Sources and Molecular Weights on Lipid Metabolism)

  • This study was performed to investigate the effect of chitosan and NOCC from different sources and of different molecular weights on lipid metabolism. Sprague-Dawley rats were blocked into 26 groups according to body weight, and were raised for 4 weeks. Cadmium chloride was given at the level of 0 or 400 ppm in diet. Various chitosan and NOCC sources were given at the level of 0%(w/w) of diet. Total serum cholesterol and serum triglyceride concentrations were little affected by chitosan and NOCC supplements. However, HDL-cholesterol concentration and HDL : total cholesterol ratio were increased , and liver lipid, cholesterol , and triglyceride concentration were decreased by chitosan and NOCC supplements. The cholesterol and lipid lowering activity depends on fiber sources(crab and shrimp); type (chitosan and NOCC); and molecular weight(low , medium , and high). Among cadmium-free groups, chitosan-fed groups showed greater activity than NOCC -fed groups in lowering cholesterol and lipid levels, and greater fecal excretion of lipids and bile acids. Crab chitosans were more effective in cholesterol and lipid lowering activity than shrimp chitosans. The group fed high molecular weight crab chitosan showed the highest fecal excretion of lipids and bile acids. This indicated that high molecular weight crab chitosan was most effective in interfering with cholesterol and lipid absorption.

난소 절제 흰쥐에서 카페인 첨가가 혈액과 간 지질 농도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Caffeine Supplementation on Lipid Concentrations of Serum and Liver in Ovariectomized Rats)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of caffeine on lipid concentrations in ovariectomized rats. Forty-four rats (75${\pm}$5 g) were randomly divided into ovariectomy(ovx) and sham groups, each of which were randomly divided into two subgroups that were fed the control diet or a caffeine-supplemented diet (0.03%/diet). The experimental groups were classified into 1) sham-control, 2) sham-caffeine, 3) ovx-control and 4) ovx-caffeine groups. All rats had been fed on experimental diet and deionized water ad libitum for 6 weeks. Triglyceride concentration and total cholesterol were measured in serum and liver. Serum HDL-cholesterol was measured. Serum LDL-cholesterol and atherogenic index were calculated. Weight gain and food efficiency ratio were higher in ovx groups than in sham groups (p<0.05). Caffeine intake did not affect weight gain and food efficiency ratio. Mean food intake was significantly increased in ovx-caffeine group than other three groups. There were no significant differences in serum triglyceride, total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol and atherogenic index between the control diet group and caffeine diet group. In addition, hepatic triglyceride and cholesterol level was unaffected by caffeine intake or ovariectomy. Therefore, we suggest that caffeine (0.03%/diet) intake may not have adverse effects on serum lipid level in ovariectomized rats.
