방사선치료계획 정도관리 방법에 따른 신뢰도 평가 (Reliability estimation about quality assurance method of radiotherapy planning)

  • According as radiation therapy technique develops, standardization of radiation therapy has been complicated by the plan QA(Quality Assurance). However, plan QA tools are two type, OADT (opposite accumulation dose tool) and 3DADT (3 dimensional accumulation dose tool). OADT is not applied to evaluation of beam path. Therefore tolerance error of beam path will establish measurement value at OADT. Plan is six beam path, five irradiation field at each beam path. And beam path error is 0 degree, 0.2 degree, 0.4 degree, 0.6 degree, 0.6 degree, 0.8 degree. Plan QA accomplishes at OADT, 3DADT. The more path error increases, the more plan QA error increases. Tolerance error of OADT path is 0.357 using tolerance error of conventional plan QA. Henceforth plan QA using OADT will include beam path error. In addition, It will increase reliability through precise and various plan technique.

BASINS/HSPF 및 WASP5를 이용한 화옹유역과 담수호의 적용성 검토 (The evaluation of BASINS/HSPF and WASP5 model in Hwaong watershed and reservoir)

  • Large scale projects of sea-land reclamation have been practiced mainly to enlarge farmland in Korea. Most projects produced estuarine reservoir with dike construction, which might result in water quality problems due to block of natural flowing of stream water to the sea. Applicability of a widely accepted watershed-based water quality assessment tool (BASINS) and its associated watershed model was evaluated on the Hwaong watershed in Korea. BASINS was found to be a convenient and powerful tool for assessment of watershed characteristics, and provided various tools to delineate the watershed into land segments and river reaches, reclassify land use, and parameterize for HSPF simulation. WASP5 is a general purpose modeling system for assessing the fate and transport of conventional and toxic pollutants in surface water bodies. This study involved selection and linkage of available models to be used as a tool in evaluating the effects of BMPs for control on reservoir water quality. Overall,.Linkage of BASINS/HSPF and WASP5 was applicable and found to be a powerful tool in pollutant loading estimation from the watershed and reservoir, and its use is recommended.

중소규모 SW개발 프로젝트를 위한 시각화 기반의 Tool-Chain 품질관리 방법 제안 (A Method for Tool-Chain-driven Quality Control based on Visualization for Small and Medium Scale Software Development Projects)

  • Since the concept of software engineering was first used in 1968 by NATO Science Committee, a lot of research work and improvements have been made on software development methodology and software quality control, but they still fall short of ensuring successful development of small and medium scale software systems. Under these circumstances, Center for Software Engineering (CSE) at National IT Industry Promotion Agency(NIPA) has been conducting studies on quality control methodologies of software visualization well-suited for small and medium scale software systems, and also working on the systemization and quantification of software quality control. In this paper, we attempt to scope on the software development management of domestic and foreign small and medium-sized enterprises that are lying in the blind spot, compared to large enterprises with well-organized software development systems. In particular, based on software visualization that CSE is pursuing for small and medium-sized developers, we propose a practical quality control methodology well-suited for small and medium scale projects, and a low-cost quality control management tool by combining open-source quality control tools. Our proposal is expected to induce developers' mind change in SI-specialized small and medium-sized software enterprises, increase their profits and improve customer satisfaction through project quality control.

  • This paper is concerned with improvement of surface quality of a sheet metal member in the stamping process. The CAE procedure of the stamping process is utilized in order to investigate cause of surface troubles and to improve surface quality. A complicated shape of the sheet metal member can induce surface troubles such as wrinkles because of insufficient tensions force and non-uniform contact of a blank sheet with tools. This paper proposes two guidelines such as a change of tool shape and added draw-beads on the tool surface in order to increase tension forces and to induce uniform contact. The proposed guidelines are verified with the CAE of the stamping process. The CAE results show that the changed shape of tools and added draw-beads can reduce the amount of wrinkles and improve surface quality.

Swedish Constructing Excellence: A Tool for Quality Management within Construction Projects

  • The Swedish construction sector has been criticized in media for being corrupted, unproductive and conservative. Several incidents, e.g. cartels, work on the side without paying tax and moisture problems, have had a great deal of attention. Of that reason has the government initiated a number of investigations in order to identify the major problems in the construction industry. Further, they have initiated a development of a tool aimed for (a) to identify risks, (b) to avoid poor quality costs, and (c) to direct towards increased quality and effectiveness in building and civil engineering projects, from a client perspective. The UK Constructing Excellence has often been held up as a model during the debate. However, the Swedish general culture differs from the British, as well as the Swedish system differs from the British. The purpose of this paper is to describe the program for developing the system, including the purposes with the system, identified starting points and demands and the approach/method for the development.

정보공유공간의 품질 측정지표 개발에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study of Developing a Measurement Tool for the Quality of Information Commons)

  • 본 연구는 정보공유공간의 품질 측정지표 개발을 위한 설문항목 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 정보공유공간은 도서관 이용자들이 다양한 교육, 연구, 문화 활동을 경험할 수 있는 물리적, 기술적, 지적 공간으로, 최근 도서관 이용자간의 지식 공유와 상호관계를 장려하기 위하여 인기를 얻고 있다. 또한 정보공유공간은 협업활동, 학습, 휴식을 위한 공간을 제공하는데, 이러한 장점과 유용성에도 불구하고 명확히 정보공유공간의 품질에 대한 측정도구가 없다. 여기에서는 도서관 이용자의 정보공유공간에 관한 인식과 정보공유공간에 대한 인지된 품질에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 추출하기 위하여 심층면담, 선행연구 대조 및 사전조사를 수행하였다. 선행연구와 설문 초기 아이템은 분류와 클러스터링을 통하여 데이터 내의 주요 개념이 도출되었다. 그 후 사전조사를 통하여 예비 설문문항의 타당도가 검증되었다. 연구의 의의는 도서관 서비스 품질평가에 대한 연구의 영역을 확장시키고 이용의도를 고려한 새로운 평가 체계를 제시한 점이다.

QFD 기반에 의한 제화류의 감성지향적 품질설계 요소도출에 관한 실증적 연구 (Development of Customer-Oriented Quality Design Elements of Shoes based on QFD)

  • Although consumer needs for better products force manufactures to put emphasis on design, often development of a product has been done without the formal process to consider consumer needs. In order to identify the implicit needs of customers and the areas of potential demand on a product, several analysis scheme such as QFD (Quality Function Deployment) has been developed. QFD, also known as the House of Quality, is the efficient tool ever created to tie product and service design decisions directly to customer wants and needs, i.e. VoC (Voice of Customer) To utilize this tool on a product design, first of all, the consumers attributes and the engineering characteristics must be exactly investigated. However there were only few studies about them on shoe design. Hence in this paper we developed an innovative framework for shoes design based on QFD. As a result, we uncovered 29 dominant human satisfaction dimensions as the consumers attributes for customer-oriented quality evaluation of a comfortable shoes. Here, 29 human satisfaction dimensions for a shoe design were identified as the dimensions that represent the human sensitivity and psychological feeling on comfortable shoes. Also, we proposed 60 human interface elements as the engineering characteristics. The relationships between human satisfaction dimensions and human interface elements were investigated. This study will help the designers and manufacturers clarify the conceptual and abstract aspect of the design evaluation by proposing a more systematic and process-oriented method.

소비자가 지각하는 간호서비스 질과 괴리에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Nursing Service Quality and Gap Perceived by Consumers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a tool that measures the quality of nursing service, to measure the quality of nursing service perceived by consumers, and to identify the gaps between ideal and actual nursing services. Method: A questionnaire was developed and distributed to 300 people who had been hospitalized in one of six general hospitals with quality of nursing services in five provincial cities in Korea. For data analysis, the SPSS/WIN(ver 10.0) program was used. Result: The 20 attributes included in the instrument of quality of nursing service is abstracted into 2 factors: tangibility and intangibility. In quality analysis, 15 of 20 attributes are minus scores, meaning that those nursing services are perceived as generally low. However among the minus scores' attributes, only two attributes are significant statistically. Gaps between importance and performance of the nursing service exists in 19 among 20 attributes. Conclusion: Nursing service quality (performance-expectation) needs to be improved, and Gaps (importance-performance) reduced. In addition, a tool measuring nursing service quality has to be developed so nurses can deal successfully with the quality and gaps of nursing service perceived by consumers.

  • The characteristics of the tool system give many effects into the costs and qualities for the finished components. Therefore, a tool life is one of the important issues on cold forging industry. However, since variables related with tool life are many complicated, the studies for solution should be investigated by the systematic research approach. The shape and process changes of die, the hardness changes of material and the tolerance of dies to decrease the die stress are analyzed by the FEM software. The heat-treatment of tool material is investigated to improve the tool life. Deep cryogenic treatment of tool steel is very efficient to improve the wear resistance due to the fine carbide. And, it is investigated that the shape and dimension of tool give effect into both tool life and quality of forged product..

이송모터 전류신호를 이용한 공구파손 검출 (Tool Breakage Detection Using Feed Motor Current)

  • Tool condition monitoring plays one of the most important roles in the improvement of both machining quality and productivity. In this regard, various process signals and monitoring methods have been developed. However, most of the existing studies used cutting force or acoustic emission signals, which posed risks of interference with the machining system in dynamics, fixturing, and machining configuration. In this study, a feed motor current signal is used as a process signal representing process and tool states in tool breakage monitoring based on an adaptive autoregressive model and unsupervised neural network. From the experimental results using various cases of tool breakage, it is shown that the developed system can successfully detect tool breakage before two revolutions of the spindle after tool breakage.
