FPGA를 이용한 홈 헬스케어용 전립선 비대증 진단시스템 구현 (Implementation of the BPH Diagnosis System for Home Health Care Using FPGA)

  • A sensor and measuring system were implemented to measure both uroflow and urophonography signal during urination for diagnose the BPH(benign prostatic hypertrophy). The implemented system was composed of the uroflow sensor using the load-cell, the urophonography measurement sensor so as stethoscope type, pre-processing part for sensors signal detection, amplifier and filter, system control parts and PC measurement program. A simulator of the lower urinary system that is experimental equipment implemented for evaluates the developed system. The two signals were measured using implemented system and analyzed these signal by means of time domain and frequency domain for extraction of the characteristic parameter which can most effectively reflected by the occlusion of the lower urinary system. Furthermore two signals were measured and analyzed with the subject of 5 healthy adult for clinical application possibility of the implemented system. As a result, the most influence bandwidth of effect according to occlusion of the lower urinary system is $253{\sim}282Hz$ of the urophonography signal.

  • For the purpose of developing capacitive humidity sensor having interdigit electrodes, interdigit electrode was modeled and simulated to obtain capacitance and sensitivity as a function of geometric parameters like the structural gap and thichness. For the development of ASIC, switched capacitor signal conditioning circuits for capacitive humidity sensor were designed and simulated by cadence using 0.25um CMOS process parameters. The signal conditioning circuits are composed of amplifier for voltage gain control, and clock generator for sensor driving and switch control The characteristics of the fabricated sensors are; 1) sensitivity is 9fF/%R.H., 2) temperature coefficient of offset(TCO) is 0.4%R.H./$^{\circ}C$, 3) nonlinearity is 1.2%FS, 4) hysteresis is 1.5%FS in humidity range of 3%R.H. ${\sim}$ 98%R.H.. The response time is 50 seconds in adsorption and 70 seconds in desorption. Fabricated process used in this capacitive humidity sensor having interdigit electrode are just as similar as conventional IC process technology. Therefore this can be easily mass produced with low cost, simple circuit and utilized in many applications for both industrial and environmental measurement and control system, such as monitoring system of environment, automobile, displayer, IC process room, and laboratory etc..

  • Gyroscope is a very important core sensor, as a rotation sensor in inertial space, in inertial guidance and navigation system on aeronautics, plane, vessel and so on for civilian and millitary applications. Mechnical gyroscopes, adopting a principle of spinning a top, have been used in many application system. These mechnical gyroscopes need high power consumption, long warming time and complicated peripheral devices. But fiber-optic gyroscopes, based on the Sagnac effect, have novel advantages as small volume. simple scheme, low power consumption and high reliability. So we have developed a Intermediate grade All-fiber Optic Gyroscope, which has open-loop and minimum reciprocal configuration scheme. We have designed feedback circuits for stability of amplitude and phase using four lock-in amplifier(LIA) circuits and also used for noise limitation. This paper describes the scheme of optical part and electronic part and also test results of this all-fiber optic gyroscope. The performance have been achieved as long-term bias drift of $9.54^{\circ}/h$, random walk of $0.0317^{\circ}/\sqrt{h}$ and dynamic range of ${\pm}150\;deg/s$.

휴대용 용존산소 측정 시스템의 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of Portable Dissolved Oxygen Measurement System)

  • 스크린 프린트법으로 저가형 후막 용존산소 센서를 제작하고, 휴대용 용존산소 측정 시스템을 구현하였다. 전류 특성은 인가전압(바이어스 전압)을 0.7 V로 하였을 때, 응답시간도 짧고 전류 값의 변화도 가장 크다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 시스템의 구현은 MCU, 증폭단, 필터단, 전원부 및 디스플레이로 구성하였다. 용존산소 농도는 아날로그 값을 디지털로 변환하여 백분율로 표현되도록 프로그램하였다. 제작된 용존산소 측정 시스템은 표준 용액 대비 오차 ${\pm}0.5%$의 정확도 및 약 100초의 응답시간을 나타내어 고가의 상용 용존산소 센서를 대치할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

비스무스코팅 탄소섬유전극과 갤릭산 착물을 사용한 구리 이온의 흔적량 분석 (Bismuth Coated Carbon Fiber Microelectrode with Gallic Acid n-Propyl Ester for Trace Copper Analysis)

  • A bismuth-coated carbon fiber microelectrode was prepared using cyclic voltammetry (CV). An analytical application was performed for the copper analysis with Square Wave Stripping Voltammetry (SWSV). Gallic acid n-propyl ester (PG) was used for the complex formation with a copper ion, and electrochemical measurements were performed with a pre-amplifier of a low-current module for nano am per detection. The effects of various parameters on the response were optimized. Analytical working ranges of $0.03-25.9\;{\mu}gl^{-1}$ and $0-25\'mgl^{-1}$ Cu(II) were obtained. The relative standard deviation at $13\;mgl^{-1}$ Cu was 0.9% (n = 12) in optimum conditions. The detection limit was found to have been $0.019\;{\mu}gl^{-1}$, with a 30-sec accumulation time. The developed methods were applied to a copper assay in water samples.

곱셈기 기반 로렌츠 회로의 카오스 다이내믹스 (Chaotic dynamics of the multiplier based Lorenz circuit)

  • 본 논문에서는 로렌츠 카오스 회로를 곱셈기, 커패시터, 연산증폭기, 제어저항 등을 이용하여 설계하였다. 제안하는 회로는 SPICE 프로그램을 통하여 시간파형, 주파수 특성, 위상특성 등을 해석하였고, 로렌츠 하드웨어를 구현하여서 시간파형, 주파수 특성, 위상특성, 분기도 특성을 측정하였다. 측정결과, $500k{\Omega}$ 가변 제어 저항의 조건에 따라, 로렌츠 회로는 제어저항의 특정 영역 ($10{\sim}100k{\Omega}$)에서 카오스 신호가 생성됨을 확인하였다. SPICE 모의실험 결과와 일치함을 보였고, 하드웨어의 가변저항을 변화주면서 분기도 특성을 측정하여서 저항 변화에 따라 카오스와 주기적인 분기도 형태를 나타내는 것을 확인하였다.

A Hybrid Audio ${\Delta}{\Sigma}$ Modulator with dB-Linear Gain Control Function

  • A hybrid ${\Delta}{\Sigma}$ modulator for audio applications is presented in this paper. The pulse generator for digital-to-analog converter alleviates the requirement of the external clock jitter and calibrates the coefficient variation due to a process shift and temperature changes. The input resistor network in the first integrator offers a gain control function in a dB-linear fashion. Also, careful chopper stabilization implementation using return-to-zero scheme in the first continuous-time integrator minimizes both the influence of flicker noise and inflow noise due to chopping. The chip is implemented in a 0.13 ${\mu}m$ CMOS technology (I/O devices) and occupies an active area of 0.37 $mm^2$. The ${\Delta}{\Sigma}$ modulator achieves a dynamic range (A-weighted) of 97.8 dB and a peak signal-to-noise-plus-distortion ratio of 90.0 dB over an audio bandwidth of 20 kHz with a 4.4 mW power consumption from 3.3 V. Also, the gain of the modulator is controlled from -9.5 dB to 8.5 dB, and the performance of the modulator is maintained up to 5 nsRMS external clock jitter.

  • In this study, it has been aimed that the accuracy of position control be increased by microstep drive to the 2 phase 8 pole HB type prototype of linear pulse motor of which winding are applied sine wave current and the vibration and noise in the lower speed region be decreased. The fixed off-time method which controls the exciting current bandwidth, was applied to the microstep current controller. When the LPM was driven 1/8 microstep its accuracy of position was 0.109[mm] (=tooth pitch 3.5[mm] ). Also, the elimination method of harmonics in the static thrust force is proposed. It was confirmed that the position error range of the prototype LPM was $\pm$0.2[mm].

  • 본 논문에서는 선형화 특성이 우수하고, 대역폭이 넓은 feedforward 선형화 기법을 이용하여 IMT-2000용 1-Watt 급 증폭기를 설계 제작하였다. Feedforward는 외부환경(온도, 입력 전력 레벨, 시간 등)의 변화에 민감하므로 마이크로컨트롤러를 이용하여 이를 제어하였다. 35dB 의 이득과 40dBm의 최고전력을 갖는 주증폭기를 설계하였고, 각 루프의 신호를 상쇄하기 위해서 반사형 가변감쇄기와 위상변화기를 사용하였다. 2.11 2.17GHz 대역에서 측정 결과 신호루프에서 주신호를 35dB이상 상쇄하였으며, 오차루프에서 30dB 이상 오차신호를 상쇄하여 60dBc 이상의 선형화 특성을 얻을 수 있었다.

거리측정이 가능한 단동형 수중 스테레오 카메라의 제어 (Control of an Underwater Stereo Camera Embedded in a Single Canister Capable of Measuring Distance)

  • This paper present the control of the image disparity of a parallel stereo camera and its application to an underwater stereo camera to enhance the working efficiency of underwater vehicles that are equiped with manipulators in seabed operation. The stereo camera consists of two parallel lenses mounted on a lateral moving base and two CCD cameras mounted on a longitudinal moving base, which is embedded in a small pressure canister for underwater application. Because the lateral shift is related to the backward shift with a nonlinear relation, only one control input is needed to control the vergence and focus of the camera with a special driving device. We can get clear stereo vision with the camera for all the range of objects in air and in water, especially in short range object. The control system of the camera is so simple that we are able to realize a small stereo camera system and apply it to a stereo vision system for underwater vehicles. This paper also shows how to acquire the distance information of an underwater object with this stereo camera. Whenever we focus on an underwater object with the camera, we can obtain three-dimensional images and distance information in real-time.
