세도우 마스크 장력에 열공정이 미치는 영향 (Effect of Heat Treatment Process on the Shadow Mask Tension)

  • Tension variations with heat treatment in shadow mask for flat braun tubes are investigated in this study. In CRT, landing shift of the electron beam due to thermal deformation of the tension mask made the color purity of screen worse. In order to get the final results of thermal deformation, the tensile force within the mask and the welding processes between the rail and the extended mask have to be analysed sequentially. In this study, the effect of heat treatment is studied in terms of tension variations of shadow mask during its manufacturing process.

오픈소스 하드웨어를 사용한 저비용 열화상 잔불탐지 장치 개발 (Development of a Low-Cost Thermal Image Hidden Fire Detector Using Open Source Hardware)

  • Hidden flame detection after allegedly extinguishing a fire cannot be emphasized enough. There are a few commercial hidden fire detection equipments which are imported, but the cost is relatively high. In this contribution, we propose a development of a low-cost, high-performance hidden flame detector using open-source hardware/software. We use Raspberry-pi based hardware board equipped with a TFT touch-screen LCD, a 3G modem, and an attachable battery device altogether integrated in a plastic case fabricated with a 3D printer. The proposed hidden flame detector shows the same performance of a commercial product FLIR E5 while consuming less than a half of the cost.

PDP용 Ag전극 페이스트의 Bi계 프릿 제조 및 특성 (Preparation and Characterization of Bi based frit for Ag Electrode in PDP Application)

  • PDP전극용 Ag전극 페이스트의 프릿으로 기존의 Pb-based 프릿을 대신 할 수 있는 Bi-based 조성의 새로운 유리조성의 가능성을 검토하였다. PDP디스플레이 응용을 위해 프릿의 저융점화 및 열팽창계수 제어를 행하였고, 이를 전극 페이스트 제조에 적용하여 스크린 프린팅된 전극을 평가하였다. $Bi_2O_3$를 50-60wt%이상 첨가된 $Bi_2O_3-B_2O_3-Al_2O_3$계 조성의 프릿은 연화점이 400∼$480^{\circ}C$, 열팽창계수가 7.31∼$10.02\times 10^{-6}/^{\circ}C$이며, 전극의 단자저항은 4.1∼4.8$\Omega$ 이었다. 본 연구에서 새로이 개발된 Bi계 프릿조성은 Pb계 조성의 프릿에 상당하는 물성을 얻을 수 있었으며, 이를 전극용 페이스트에 적용한 결과, 전극 프린팅에서 퍼짐성과 균일성이 우수하였다. PDP전극용 무연, 무 알카리 프릿으로 Bi계 조성의 적용가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Bridgman-Stockbarger법에서 thermal screen의 역할을 하는 새로운 방법을 6inch 형석(CaF2) 단결정성장을 위하여 고안하였다. 본 방법으로 poly-grain으로의 성장과 내부 cavity, 그리고 solid-liquid(SL) interface를 제어할 수 있었다. Graphite pipe와 ceramic warmer를 사용하여 성장한 6inch의 CaF2 결정은 완전한 단결정으로 성장하였다. 이때의 조건은 2mm/hr의 성장속도, 성장구역에서의 $14^{\circ}C$/cm의 온도구배, 그리고 도가니의 conical tip에서 $1324^{\circ}C$의 온도를 나타내었다. 내부 cavity에 의해 발생되는 light scattering 현상은 성장속도를 감소시키거나 융액을 회전함으로써 제어할 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents results and observations obtained from a study of sintering behavior and crystallization in $Li_2O-Al_2O_3-SiO_2$ (LAS) Glass by screen printing method. The variable experimental conditions were determined carefully by Thermal-Mechanical Analyzer (TMA), Differential Thermal Analyzer (DTA) for setting the optimum transparent sintering conditions in LAS glass system, $10.5Li_2O-14.7Al_2O_3-58.1SiO_2-16.7B_2O_3(wt%)$, such as glass-ceramics which usually have low crystallization temperatures. Crystallization glasses generated during sintering was observed from diffraction patterns by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), transmittance by UV-Vis spectrometer. Finally, the optimum sintering condition of LAS glass and the relation between factors and results in several sintering conditions were given by using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). From this study, we confirmed that crystallization interrupted densification during glass powder sintering. Furthermore, we observed that main effect of factors in glass powder sintering with concurrent crystallization depended on experimental conditions from main effects plot by MINTAB-14.

열경화성 잉크 에폭시의 두께 변화에 따른 마이크로 퓨즈 용단의 최적 조건 (Optimum Condition of Micro Fuse Fusing as a Function Changed Thickness of Thermosetting Ink Epoxy)

  • For the semiconductor device safety from over current in the digital electronic circuit system must be surely designed that it's surface mount type micro fuse device. In this paper, We has analysed to the fusing character of micro fuse as a function changed thickness of thermosetting ink epoxy. To the change of thermosetting ink epoxy thickness with in production lot, in the electrically character (fusing test in the 2 multiple over current and 10 multiple over current, surface temperature test in the 1.25 multiple over current) of micro fuse has been tested. According to the electrically character result, changed thickness of thermosetting ink epoxy in designed micro fuse withheld direct effect in both end resistance changes. Also, because high thermal energy in the micro fuse test of over current was occurred to effect such as thermal runaway and explosion. Therefore, screen printing process in the design of micro fuse using thermosetting ink epoxy is very important for production quality improvement.

태양열 반응로용 나트륨 히트파이프의 열이송 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Heat Transport Characteristics of a Sodium Heat Pipe for a Solar Furnace)

  • Cylindrical stainless-steel/sodium heat pipe for a high-temperature application was manufactured and tested for transient and steady-state operations. The container material was made of stainless-steel 316, and the working fluid was sodium. Stainless-steel 316 mesh screen was inserted as a capillary structure. The working fluid fill charge ratio was approximately 64 $\sim$ 181% based on the pore space of the wick. The outer diameter of the heat pipe was 12.7 mm and the total length was 250 mm. The evaporator part was 150 mm and the condenser 80 mm. The performance test of the heat pipe has been conducted in the furnace with up to 800 W. The variation of the average heat transfer coefficient was investigated as a function of heat flux and vapor temperature. As input thermal load increased, it was showed that difference of temperatures in evaporator and condenser decreased and that operating section and heat transfer characteristics at the heat pipe increased.

플라스틱온실의 피복방식에 따른 보온 및 광투과 성능 평가 (Estimation of Heat Insulation and Light Transmission Performance According to Covering Methods of Plastic Greenhouses)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 상업용 온실의 보온성능 및 광투과 성능을 개선할 수 있는 피복방식을 결정하는데 필요한 자료를 제공하기 위하여 토마토 재배용 실험온실의 세 가지 피복방식에 대한 보온효과 및 광투과 특성을 평가하였으며 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 공기주입 이중피복온실과 관행 이중피복온실의 관류열손실량이 거의 비슷한 것으로 나타났으나 외부기온이 비슷할 때 피복재와 보온커튼 사이의 온도가 공기주입 이중피복온실이 더 낮게 나타난 것은 공기주입 이중피복온실의 경우 나비식 천창의 틈새로 인한 환기전열손실이 크기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 공기주입 이중피복온실에서 나비식 천창을 사용할 경우 틈새 환기전열손실을 줄일 수 있는 대책이 수립되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. 일중피복 온실과 관행이중피복온실의 관류열전달계수에 대한 온실 실험결과와 모형실험결과를 비교한 결과 모두 비슷한 값을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 측정된 관류열전달계수가 타당성 있는 값임을 보여주는 것이며 향후 온실의 난방설계시 직접 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 공기주입 이중피복온실이 비록 일중피복온실보다는 광투과율이 낮으나 동일한 이중피복온실인 관행이중피복온실보다 광투과율이 높기 때문에 보온을 위해서 이중피복을 설치할 경우에 광투과율을 확보하기 위해서는 공기주입 이중피복방식을 채택하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 판단된다. 공기주입 이중피복온실에 비해 일중피복온실의 피복재 내부표면에서 발생하는 결로량이 큰 이유는 일중피복온실의 피복재 내부표면온도가 훨씬 낮기 때문에 피복재에서의 포화습도가 작아져 내부공기의 절대습도와의 차이가 증가하기 때문인 것으로 판단된다.

Effects of constituents in CNT pastes on the field emission characteristics of carbon nanotubes

  • Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been significantly used for the field emitters for display applications. However, the lifetime of CNT emitters which are formed by screen printing technique is not guaranteed yet, because the constituents in CNT paste affect the lifetime of CNTs. The CNT pastes for screen printing are normally composed of organic vehicles (nitro cellulose, ethyl cellulose, etc) and additives (glass frits, ITO, etc) with CNTs. In this study, the effects of constituents in CNT pastes on the lifetime and emission characteristics of CNTs were investigated by thermal and electrical analysis. Use of glass frits worsened the lifetime and electron emission of CNTs. However, an addition of ITO to CNT paste rather improved the lifetime of CNTs. Degradation of CNTs was small when nitro cellulose was used in CNT paste as an organic vehicle.

디젤분무의 분열길이 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of Break-up Length for the Diesel Sprays)

  • The injected liquid does not break-up instantly after injection for diesel engine. There is some unbroken portion, which is the liquid core(The length of liquid core is called the break-up length) in the spray. If the liquid core is longer than the depth of the bowl in the small DI diesel engine, the liquid core impinges on the surface of the piston. Once the liquid core impinges on the surface, it cannot ignite or burn rapidly and thus prolongs burning time with a degradation in thermal efficiency. The break-up length of a diesel spray in a compressure vessel was measured by an electric resistance method, A voltage was applied between the nozzle and screen, bar, needle electrode inserted at various axial and radial positions into atomizing sprays. As a result, a current flows not only in the region of liquid core but also through the droplets of the spray. It is found that the break-up length measured with screen electrode is overestimated. The break-up length of the spray is found to be proportional to the square root of the density ratio of fuel and surrounding gas. The break-up length of the spray decreases as the injection pressure and the back pressure increase.
