송배전관로 되메움재로 활용하기 위한 국내 순환골재의 다짐 및 열적 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Compaction and Thermal Characteristics of Recycled Aggregates for Backfilling Power Transmission Pipeline)

  • 천연 골재자원의 고갈로 인해 송배전관로 되메움재의 대체골재로서 재생 순환골재 이용에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 그러나 순환골재를 송매전관로 메움재로 적용하기 위해서는 물리적, 열적 특성 규명이 선행되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 송배전관보 되메움재로 활용하기 위한 폐콘크리트 순환골재의 적용성을 평가하였다. 각 지역에서 채취한 순환골재와 대조군인 일반 강모래를 대상으로 실내다짐시험을 수행한 후, 비정상 열선법과 비정상 탐침법을 이용하여 열저항을 측정하였다. 저함수비 구간에서 비정상 탐침법을 이용한 열저항 측정값은 탐침관입에 따른 시료교란 효과로 인해 비정상 열선법보다 상대적으로 크게 측정되었다. 전체 순환골재의 열저항 측정 결과, 대조군인 강모래와 유사하게 함수비 증가에 따른 열저항의 감소를 보였다. 또한, 기존 열전도도(열저항) 예측 모델에 의한 열저항 예측값과 순환골재의 측정 결과를 비교하였으며, 순환골재에 열저항 예측에 적합한 예측식을 제안하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 재생 순환골재를 송배전판로 되메움재로 활용 가능함을 알 수 있다.

  • Due to the recent quantum leaps forward in bio-, nano-, and information-technologies (BT, NT and IT), the precisionization and miniaturization of mechanical and electrical components are in high demand. In particular, the ITrelated equipments that take a great part in our domestic industry are in the area requiring high precision technologies. As a consequence, the researches on the development vibration isolation systems that diminish external disturbance or internal vibration are highly required. Among the components comprising the vibration isolation system, air spring has become on a focal point for the researchers due to its merits. This air spring is able to support heavy loads, keep a low natural frequency despite of having a lower value of stiffness, and control the performance of vibration isolation. However, sometimes the sole use of air spring is in demand due to some economic reasons. Under this circumstance, the damping effect of sole air spring may not enough to reduce sufficient amount of vibration. In this study, the air spring mount system connecting with an external chamber is proposed to increase or control the damping effect. To investigate its damping mechanism, the thermal and dynamic behaviors of the system is examined through a theoretical modeling approach in this part of research. In this approach, thermomechanical and Helmholtz resonator type models are to be employed for the air spring/external chambers and connecting tube system, respectively. The frequency response functions (FRFs) derived from the modeling effort are evaluated with physical parametric values and the effects of connecting tube length on these FRFs are identified through computer simulations.

  • This paper deals with a modified repetitive control method for compensating automatic gauge control (AGC) to reduce the effect of skid mark which directly influence the quality of products in plate mill process. Since the skid mark on the plate have thermal difference, it makes a different stretching rate and deflection of thickness. Firstly, the (AGC) system and the plate mill process are described by considering function in each control levels. The skid mark of the plate in practical control fields is shown. Also, its frequency variation is given by on-line FFT analysis method.   • In this paper, we propose a robust controller design of RTP(Rapid Thermal Processing) system using structured uncertainty approach. Using the weighted mixed sensitivity function, we solve the robust stability problem against disturbance and temperature variation, and design a $\mu$ controller using curve fitting method against structured uncertainty. Also the reduction method should be requried because of the difficulty of implementaion with the obtained high order controller. We dal with robust stability and performance of RTP system by the design of $\mu$ controller for original model and Schur balanced reduced model. Finally the simulation results are proposed to show the validity of the proposed method.

AN IMPROVED HEAT TRANSFER CORRELATION FOR DEVELOPING POST-DRYOUT REGION IN VERTICAL TUBES

  • A developing post-dryout region is characterized by significant heat transfer enhancements compared with the fully developed post-dryout region. The heat transfer enhancements are mainly due to upstream disturbance and entrained droplets in the region immediately downstream of the critical heat flux location. In this paper, an improved heat transfer correlation is developed for the developing post-dryout regions in vertical tubes over a wide range of flow conditions. The correlation represents a correction factor for the fully developed film-boiling look-up table to be applied to the developing post-dryout region. The new correlation significantly improves the heat transfer prediction in the developing post-dryout regions and provides very good agreement with the experimental data.

  • This dissertation is concerned with ultra-precision profile measurement of aspheric surfaces using contact probing technique. A contact probe has been designed as a sensing device to obtain measuring resolutions in nanometer regime utilizing a leaf spring mechanism and a capacitive-type sensor. The contact probe is attached on the z-axis during measurement while aspheric objects are supported on an precision xy-stage whose lateral motions are monitored by a set of two orthogonal plane mirror type laser interferometers. Experimental results show that the contact probing technique developed in this investigation is capable of providing a repeatability of 50 nanometers with a $\pm$3$\sigma$ uncertainty of 300 nanometers. Thermal disturbance is found the most significant factor that should be precisely controlled for accurate measurement.

  • In order to realize the high-speed machining, the relative technologies for high speed machining tool and high speed machining are required now, The machining accuracy is influenced on the disturbance by the synchronized working conditions(cutting force, spindle Run-out, thermal deformation etc.) In this paper, the effect of spindle Run-out for the high speed machining is investigated. The results show that the spindle Run-out has a great influence on the machining accuracy in high speed machining.

저온냉동기로 냉각된 Bi 계 초전도선재의 안정성 연구 (A study on the Stability of Bi-based Superconducting Wires cooled by a Cryocooler)

  • The stability of Bi-based superconducting wires cooled by a cryocooler was studied by considering the temperature dependency of critical current and electrical resistivity. The critical current measured in 23 K was about 7 times higher than that measured in liquid nitrogen of 77 K. The stability behavior of Bi based multifilament wires subjected to a thermal disturbance, which was simulated with a electric heater, was investigated by measuring the variation of voltage drop with time. Current sharing was occurred, and recovery to superconductivity was measured in the wire after removing heater power.

Sequential Outage Checkers for Analyzing Cascading Outages and Preventing Large Blackouts

  • This paper presents the use of sequential outage checkers to identify the potential cascading processes that might lead to large blackouts. In order to analyze cascading outages caused by a combination of thermal overloads, low voltages, and under-frequencies following an initial disturbance, sequential outage checkers are proposed. The proposed sequential outage checkers are verified using the AEP 9-bus system, New England 39-bus system, and IEEE 118-bus system.

  • Damk$\ddot{o}$hler수가 클 때 복사열손실에 의한 소염근처에서 셀모양의 대향류확산화염의 특성에 대하여 수치해석적으로 연구하였다. Lewis 수를 0.5로 두고 일차원 정상상태의 화염의 해에 매우 작은 교란을 가하여 시간에 따른 화염전개를 계산하였다. 천이과정 초기에는 선형안정성 해석에서 예측된 결과와 매우 비슷하게 진행된다. 시간이 증가함에 따라 증가율이 가장 강한 파동수를 갖는 교란파가 성장하고, 완전히 발달되면 소염영역과 화염영역이 번갈아 나타나는 셀모양의 화염구조를 갖는다. 화염온도는 총엔탈피의 국소 이득 때문에 일차원 정상상태의 화염온도보다 높다. 셀모양의 확산화염은 Damk$\ddot{o}$hler 수가 증가함에 따라 셀의 모양이 원형으로 되며 일차원 정상상태 소염조건보다 큰 Damk$\ddot{o}$hler 수에서도 셀모양의 화염은 꺼지지 않고 살아남는다.
