새로운 Thorium (IV)-Crown Ether 착물형성 (Formation of New Thorium (IV) Complexes with Crown Ethers)

  • 여러 용매(methanol, ethanol, butanol, ethylether, methylacetate, acetone, THF 및 acetylacetone)중에서 아직 보고된 바 없는 공동을 달리한 crown ether들을 리간드로 한 토륨(IV) 고체 착물을 합성하였다. 이 고체 착물에 대한 배위 화학적인 정보를 얻기 위하여 원소분석(C.H.N) 및 ICPAS법에 의한 토륨분상, 열분석과 Karl-Fischer적정법에 의한 착물중의 결정수 분석에 의해서 고체 착물들의 조성을 결정하였다. 그리고 적외선, 자외선 분광분석, $^1H$-핵자기 공명 분석 및 X-선 회절분석법에 의하여 각 합성 착물들의 결합구조에 대한 정보들을 얻었고 각 합성 착물들에 대한 용매화 현상을 논의하였다. 그 결과 아세틸아세톤 용매하에서 합성된 착물들은 아세틸아세톤을 제외한 모든 실험 용매중에서 합성된 crown ether를 가지는 토륨(IV) 착물들은 용매화 반응이 일어나지 않았다. $Th^{4+}$금속이온에 대한 리간드 결합비는 고리의 크기에 주로 영향을 받으며 12-crown-4의 경우는 1:1([$Th^{4+}$]:[lig.]) 착물, 15-crown-5의 경우는 2:3 착물 및 18-crown-6와 dicyclohexano-18-crown-6의 경우는 1:1 착물이었다. 용매화가 일어나는 15-crown-5 와 18-crown-6 착물의 경우는 1:1:1([$Th^{4+}$]:[lig.]:$[CH_3COCH_2COCH_3]$)이었다. 용매화하지 않는 모든 착물들은 crown-ether의 n-${\sigma}^{\ast}$전자전이를, 그리고 용매화된 착물은 crown-ether n-${\sigma}^{\ast}$와 acac의 $n-{\pi}^{\ast}$전자전이를 동시에 나타냈다. 반양성자성 용매에서 모든 착물들은 1:1전해질로, 물에서는 1:4전해질로 각각 행동하는 9배위자 착물임을 알 수 있다.

  • In this paper, temperature distribution and thermal stress are investigated considering engine peak pressure and the time average temperature distribution in the piston under running conditions for the diesel engine. The induced stress are calculated by the Finite Element Method(FEM). The results obtained are summerized as follows. 1) The results calculated by the FEM present good agreement with other numerical solution in literature. 2) It is confirmed that maximum compressive stress are induced in the part of outside wall between the piston crown and the pin bush. 3) In the axial direction, the hoop stresses are changed its sigh at the portion of crown near the inner wall side 4)Large gradient of temperature is shown in the piston crown near the side wall in the axial direction, in the part between the piton crown and the pin bush in radical direction 5)in case of stress distribution of piston wall surface in the axial direction, the hoop stress is a little greater than axial stress, and the latter is greater than the radial stress

도시열환경 개선 및 보행자 열 쾌적성 증대를 위한 효율적 가로녹지 조성방안 연구 - 계획 및 설계를 위한 매개변수 도출과 녹지조성 방법 제안을 중심으로 - (A Study on Efficient Sidewalk Green Space Development for Improving Urban Thermal Environments and Enhancing Pedestrian Comfort - Focused on the Derivation of Parameters for Design, and Proposing Methods for Green Space Creation -)

  • 본 연구는 문헌 고찰을 통해 도시 열환경 개선 및 보행자 열쾌적성 증대를 위한 효율적인 가로녹지 조성방안을 제안하는 것이 목적이다. 특히, 녹지 계획 및 설계에 활용가능한 매개변수를 도출하고, 매개변수별로 열환경 완화 매커니즘을 분석한 후, 이를 바탕으로 녹지 계획 및 설계 시 활용가능한 수종선택 방법 및 녹지조성 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 국내외 관련 논문 중 4단계 과정을 통해 고찰하고자 하는 61개의 논문을 선정하였으며, 선정된 논문을 분석하여 다음과 같은 주요 결과를 도출하였다. 열스트레스가 높은 종횡비 낮고 천공률이 높은 오픈된 거리협곡의 경우, 그늘의 양과 질을 높이기 위해 수관폭이 넓고, 수고가 높고, 지하고가 낮고, 엽면적 지수가 높고, 수관의 녹량이 많은 활엽수를 다열의 좁은 간격으로 다층식재하는 것이 열저감에 효과적이다. 반면 열스트레스가 비교적 적은 종횡비가 높고 천공률이 낮은 깊고 좁은 거리협곡의 경우, 거리협곡 내 환기력을 높이기 위해 수관폭이 좁고, 지하고가 높고, 수관높이가 낮고, 엽면적 지수가 낮은 활엽수를 넓은 간격으로 식재하는 것이 열저감에 효과적이다. 본 연구는 거리협곡 내 열환경 개선 및 보행자 열쾌적성 증대를 위한 가로녹지 조성의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있으며, 녹지의 위치 선정 및 우선순위 선정 시 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다. 나아가 기후변화 대응을 위한 녹지 계획 및 설계를 위한 가이드라인 작성 시 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • In hot strip rolling, the work roll profile is one of the main factors in predicting and correcting the strip profile. Various studies concerning the wear profile and the thermal crown of work roll have been performed, and the results of these studies have shown that the work roll profile must be predicted accurately so as to efficiently control the strip qualities such as thickness, crown, flatness, and camber. Therefore, a precise prediction model of roll profile is called for in a perfect shape control system. In this paper, a genetic algorithm was applied to improve on the roll profile prediction model in hot strip rolling. In this approach, the optimal design problem is formulated on the basis of a numerical model so as to cover the diverse design variables and objective functions. A genetic algorithm was adopted for conducting design iteration for optimization to determine the coefficient of the numerical model for minimization of errors in the result of the calculated value and the measured data. A comparative analysis showed a satisfactory conformity between them..

시효처리와 thermal cycling이 치관전장용 복합레진의 2축굽힘강도에 미치는 영향 (EFFECTS OF AGING AND THERMAL CYCLING ON THE BIAXIAL FLEXURE STRENGTH OF VENEERING RESIN COMPOSITES FOR CROWN)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the effect of aging and thermal cycling on the biaxial flexure strength of low commercially available veneering resin composites for crown(Dentacolor : DC, Artglass : AG, Esternia : ET and Targis : TG). Disc specimens were fabricated in a teflon mold giving 12mm in diameter and 1mm in thickness. All samples were divided into 4 groups. Group 1 was dried in a dessicator at $25^{\circ}C$ for 30 days. Group 2 was immersed in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 30 days. Group 3 was immersed in distilled water at $65^{\circ}C$ for 30 days. Group 4 was subjected to 10,000 thermal cycles between $5^{\circ}C\;and\;55^{\circ}C$, and the immersion time in each bath was 15 seconds per cycle. Biaxial flexure test was conducted using the ball-on-three-ball method at the cross head speed of 0.5mm/min and fracture surfaces were observed with scanning electoron microscope. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. Weibull modulus values, except for the AG group, decreased after thermal cycling treatment. 2. Biaxial flexure strength values of aging group at $37^{\circ}C$ were the lowest in all sample groups. Except for the DC group, strength values were significantly decreased for the drying group. 3. After thermal cycling test, the highest value of biaxial flexure strength of 188.8 MPa was observed in the ET group and the lowest value of 73.2 MPa was observed in the DC group. The strength values showed the significant differences in each group (p<0.05). 4. Observation of surfaces after thermal cycling test revealed the ditching in the part of surrounding large fillers.

여름철 활엽수림에서의 휴식이 온열환경 쾌적성 및 인체의 생리ᐧ심리적 반응에 미치는 영향 (Thermal Comfort and the Physiological and Psychological Effects of Spending Time in Broad-Leaved Forests in Summers)

  • 활엽수림은 여름철에 착엽을 통해 일사를 차단하여 열 스트레스를 완화하는 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있지만, 이와 관련된 데이터의 축적은 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 여름철 활엽수림에서의 휴식이 온열환경 쾌적성 및 인체의 생리・심리적 반응에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상자는 남녀 대학생 32명(21.5±2.1세)으로 하였다. 연구대상자는 두 명이 한 조를 이루어 각각 실험지(수관울폐도: 76.6%)와 대조실험지(25.9%)로 이동하였고, 일련의 실험과정을 이후 장소를 교대하여 같은 실험을 진행하였다. 실험과정은 다음과 같다. 연구대상자는 의자에 앉아 휴식한 후, 눈을 감고 5분 동안 안정을 취하였다. 이때의 온열환경 쾌적성을 평가하고 심박변이도, 심박수, 이마체온을 연속적으로 측정하였다. 이후 혈압 및 맥박수를 측정하였으며, 주관평가를 진행하였다. 그 결과, 실험지는 통계적으로 유의미한 예상평균한서감지수 및 예상불만족률의 감소, 부교감신경활동의 증가, 심박수・이마체온・이완기혈압・맥박수의 감소가 나타났으며, 주관적 온열감 및 쾌적감이 개선되었다. 결론적으로, 수관울폐도가 높은 활엽수림은 여름철 온열 스트레스를 감소시키며, 인체를 생리・심리적으로 안정시킨다는 것을 확인하였다.

강화형 치관용 복합레진의 인장강도에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE TENSILE STRENGTH OF REINFORCED VENEERING COMPOSITE RESINS FOR CROWN)

  • Recently a new generation of crown and bridge veneering resins containing submicron glass fillers was introduced. These ultrasmall particle hybrid composite materials distinguish themselves, compared with conventional microfill crown and bridge resins, through improved mechanical properties. It is claimed that these composites are suitable for metal free crowns and even bridges using fiber reinforcement. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of thermal cycling on the tensile strength of the following veneering composites: Artglass(Heraeus Kulzer Co., Wehrheim, Germany), Estonia(Kuraray Co.. Japan), Sculpture(Jeneric Pentron Co., Wallingford, U.S.A.), and Targis(Ivoclar Co., Schaan Liechenstein). According to manufacturer's instructions, rectangular tensile test specimens measuring $1.5{\times}2.0{\times}4.5mm$ were made using a teflon mold. Whole specimens were divided into two groups. One group was dried in a desiccator at $25^{\circ}C$ for 10 days, and another group was subjected to thermal cycling($10,000{\times}$) in water($5/55^{\circ}C$). All test specimens were placed in a universal testing machine and loaded until fracture with a crosshead speed of 0.5mm/min. Weibull analysis and Tukey's test were used to analyze the data. The fracture surfaces of specimens were observed in SEM and the aliphatic C=C absorbance peak of Estenia and Targis resin was analyzed using Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy. Within the limitations imposed in this study, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1. Both in drying condition and thermal cycling condition, the highest tensile strength was observed in Estenia testing group(p<0.05). 2. The strength data were at to single-mode Weibull distribution, and the Weibull modulus of all veneering composite resin specimens increased after thermal cycling treatment. 3. After thermal cycling test, the highest tensile strength was observed in the Estenia group, and the lowest value was observed in the Targis group. The tensile strength values showed the significant differences between each group(p<0.05) 4. The aliphatic C=C absorbance peak of Estonia and Targis resin was decreased after light curing, and there was no distinct change after thermal cycling.

자동차용 디젤엔진 피스톤의 열변형 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Thermal Deformation Characteristics of the Automotive Diesel Engine Piston)

  • A 3-dimensional finite element model was developed for the analysis of the automotive diesel engine piston. The model, which consists of a full piston to accomodate the eccentric bowl in the piston crown, is used to calculate steady state operating temperature, thermal stress and thermal deformation of the piston. Roundness measurement tests, which are new approaches to the analysis of piston abrasion and deformation, were done for the comparision of two states of a piston-before and after operation. Numerical prediction shows good agreement with roundness measurement test results.
