파시(R. R. Parse)와 왓슨(J. Watson)의 간호이론에서의 실존적 현상학 (The existential phenomenology in Parse's and Watson's theory of nursing)

  • The purpose of this study is to contribute to a understanding the philosophical foundation of Parse's and Watson's theory of nursing. Parse's human becoming Research Methodology, Principle and main concepts are based on existential phenomenology. And Watson's theory of human care indicate that the optimal method for studying and inquiring theory of trans-personal caring is phenomenological-existential methodology. The chief theme of this study ist to illuminate how ideas and concepts of existential phenomenology are applied to Parse's and watson's theory of nursing. Content of this Study are summarized as follow; 1. Principles, concepts, theoretical structure of Man-Living-Health theory were investigated in Parse's theory of nursing as Human science. 2. Essential assumptions, chief concepts and methodology of human science and human care were investigated in Watson's theory of trans- personal caring. 3. Phenomenological analysis of "Human being" und poetic thinking of truth were described in the context of the Heidegger's fundamental ontology und existential phenomenology. 4. Meaning of existential subjectivity, freedom and choice war interpreted according to Sartre's existential philosophy 5. Phenomenological analysis of perception und function of body were investigated in the context of Merleauponty's existential phenomenology. 6. Ultimately this study provided how ideas and concepts of existential phenomenology war applied to Parse's und Watson's nursing theory und methodology.

커크우드-버프 용액 이론 (Kirkwood-Buff Solution Theory)

  • Any theory of liquid should account for interactions between molecules, since molecules in a liquid are close to each other. For this matter statistical-mechanical methodology has been used and various models have been proposed on the basis of this methodology. Among them Kirkwood-Buff solution theory has attracted a lot of interest, because it is regarded as being the most powerful. In this article Kirkwood-Buff solution theory is revisited and its key equations are derived. On the way to these equations, the concepts of pair correlation function, radial distribution function, Kirkwood-Buff integration are explained and implemented. Since complexity of statical mechanics involved in this theory, the equations are applied to one-component systems and the results are compared to those obtained by classical thermodynamics. This may be a simple way for Kirkwood-Buff solution theory to be examined for its validity.

  • The paper describes the new approaches to the automated analysis of curricula according to the higher education standard. The analysis process is proposed to carry out in two ways: (a) the analysis of completeness and sufficiency of curricula according to the standard of higher education; (b) the comparison of curricula of the same qualification and specialty. The problem of improving the quality of university students' training launches the process of monitoring and analyzing educational curricula and their correspondence to the higher education standard. We developed the rules and methods to compare curricula. In addition, we implemented the automated system of curricula comparison. The paper reveals the use of these methods based on the analysis of the curriculum bachelor level of higher education "Informatics", specialty "Computer science", at the Faculty of Computer Science and Cybernetics of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The findings put towards the idea that the implementation of developed methods as well as the automated system of curricula analysis will improve the educational services by higher education institutions.

강원도 정선군 운치리 얼음골의 여름철 결빙현상에 관한 연구 (On Study of Summertime Ice Formation in the Ice Valley at Unchiri, Gangwon-Province)

  • The meteorological elements were measured to investigate cause of summertime ice formation at Unchiri, Gangwon Province. The cause of freezing at valley was conformed as adiabatic expansion theory, latent heat of evaporation, natural convective theory, cold air remain theory, and convective freezing theory according to former study. However nither theory produced a satisfactory explanation. This studying area is not valley but ridge, and underground water surface exists at below than freezing height. wintertime temperature drop and summertime cold air spouting were explain as natural convective theory, generation of water drop on the rock was explained as cooling theory by air expansion, and ice formation on the rock was explained as adiabatic expansion theory. In conclusion, formation of ice valley at Unchiri was formed by natural convective theory, adiabatic expansion theory, and latent heat of evaporation successively.

  • Based on World Health Organization (WHO) children and adults have a problem with their oral health, such as Dental cavities and periodontal disease. It is not easy to obtain the high convince level of result of the dental and periodontal diseases. Because each of them have different degrees of uncertainty and there have several discounting factors (error rates) in different of survey. To solve this problem we propose the Dezert-Smarandache Theory (DSmT) for efficient combination of uncertain, imprecise and highly conflicting sources of information. Moreover, we apply the SEFP as a context reasoning. Finally, we make the simulation by using 12 surveys and compare Propotional Conflict Redistribution 5 (PCR5) and Dempster-Shafer Theory (DST) to show the belief or probability for the low, a heavy, high and ultra-high risk situation.

Two-temperature thermoelastic surface waves in micropolar thermoelastic media via dual-phase-lag model

  • This article is concerned with a two-dimensional problem of micropolar generalized thermoelasticity for a half-space whose surface is traction-free and the conductive temperature at the surface of the half-space is known. Theory of two-temperature generalized thermoelasticity with phase lags using the normal mode analysis is used to solve the present problem. The formulas of conductive and mechanical temperatures, displacement, micro-rotation, stresses and couple stresses are obtained. The considered quantities are illustrated graphically and their behaviors are discussed with suitable comparisons. The present results are compared with those obtained according to one temperature theory. It is concluded that both conductive heat wave and thermodynamical heat wave should be separated. The two-temperature theory describes the behavior of particles of elastic body more real than one-temperature theory.

법칙, 이론, 그리고 원리: 규범적 의미와 실제사용에서의 혼란 (Law, Theory, and Principle: Confusion in the Normative Meaning and Actual Usage)

  • 과학의 본성(NOS)에 대한 교육 담론들은 과학지식의 역할에 따른 구분, 특히 이론과 법칙의 구분을 과학교육의 중요한 학습목표로 규정한다. 그런데 과학자집단은 법칙, 이론, 원리 등의 용어를 명확한 정의없이 사용하며, 이 용어들이 관습적인 언어표현 속에서 일관된 의미를 갖지도 않는다. 당위와 현실사이의 이러한 차이는 교수학습의 혼란을 유발할 수 있다. 이러한 문제의식에서 본 연구는 법칙, 이론, 원리의 의미, 그리고 과학지식의 구조에 대해 논의한 과학교육연구와 과학철학문헌을 비판적으로 검토하였다. 과학교육연구에 대한 검토 결과 NOS 연구자들에 의한 법칙과 이론의 규범적 정의와 이 용어들의 실제 사용 사이의 불일치는 상당히 심각한 것으로 드러났다. 또한 과학철학문헌에 대한 검토를 통해 법칙과 이론의 구분이라는 이분법을 넘어서 과학지식에서 법칙, 이론, 원리라는 세 범주를 구분해야 할 필요성을 제기하였고, 관련 논의를 종합하여 법칙, 이론, 원리에 해당하는 지식의 특성을 정리하였다. 규범적 정의와 관습 사이의 불일치를 고려하면 세 범주와 관련된 교육의 목표로 용어의 정확한 구분을 강조하는 것은 바람직하지 않을 수 있다. 그보다는 서로 다른 기능과 특징을 갖는 세 종류의 지식이 있다는 것에 교육의 초점을 맞출 필요가 있다.
