  • In this paper we find some classes of operators for which Weyl`s theorem holds. The main result is as follows. If T$\in$L(\ulcorner) satisfies the following: (ⅰ) Either T or T\ulcorner is reduced by each of its eigenspaces; (ⅱ) Weyl`s theorem holds for T; (ⅲ) T is isoloid, then for every polynomial p, Weyl`s theorem holds for p(T).

  • We study on a Mohr-Mascheroni theorem, which is the followings: If a construction problem is solved by euclidean tools(compass and ruler), then it can be solved using only compass. Though it is known that Mohr-Mascheroni theorem was proved by Mascheroni, but we have not any materials concerned with Mascheroni's work. In order to investigate Mohr-Mascheroni theorem, we analyze Euclid's Elements, and we draw some construction problems, which are essential for proving Mohr-Mascheroni theorem. We solve these problems using only compass. Though we don't solve all construction problems of Euclid's Elements, we can regard that Mohr-Mascheroni theorem is proved.

  • In this work, we obtain intersection theorem, analytic alternative and von Neumann type minimax theorem in G-convex spaces. We also generalize Ky Fan minimax inequality to acyclic versions in G-convex spaces. The result is applied to formulate acyclic versions of other minimax results, a theorem of systems of inequalities and analytic alternative.

  • In this short research note, we aim to provide a new proof of classical Dixon's summation theorem for the series $_3F_2$ with unit argument. The theorem is obtained by evaluating an infinite integral and making use of classical Gauss's and Kummer's summation theorem for the series $_2F_1$.

  • This paper presents a fundamental theorem of calculus, an integration by parts formula and a version of equiintegrability convergence theorem for the Mα-integral using the Mα-strong Lusin condition. In the convergence theorem, to be able to relax the condition of being point-wise convergent everywhere to point-wise convergent almost everywhere, the uniform Mα-strong Lusin condition was imposed.

  • The classical Hardy Theorem on R states that a function f and its Fourier transform cannot be simultaneously very small; this fact was generalized by Miyachi in terms of L1 + L and log+-functions. In this paper, we consider the k-Hankel transform, which is a deformation of the Hankel transform by a parameter k > 0 arising from Dunkl's theory. We study Miyachi's theorem for the k-Hankel transform on ℝd.

  • In this note, using the separation theorem for convex sets, we will give a two functions version generalization of Fan's minimax theorem by relaxing the convexlike assumption to the weak convexlike condition.
