Recently, in platforms such as YouTube and Instagram, virtual characters resembling human life become the main characters, produce various contents, breathe with the public, and create the era of virtual humans. For example, existing game characters appear as virtual characters with unique AUs, or AI characters created by reflecting the public's preferences are actively communicating with the public through advertisements and SNS activities. As the consumption of video content through smart devices increases significantly in the post-corona era, virtual influencers are being used as all-round entertainers because there is little risk of personality controversy or production cost. there is a trend In this study, we investigated the characteristics of the case of being active as an influencer among the activities of a virtual character, and how the interactive aspect of the influencer appears by identifying the current situation through major cases. Combining this, based on the analysis of the influence of virtual influencers, the parts that producers should recognize are derived, and the differentiated characteristics of interactive virtual influencers are summarized. In addition, the difficulties of virtual influencers were investigated and problems were identified, and for the development of the content industry, a more favorable method for interaction was presented and suggestions were made to secure inner sincerity.
A virtual team consists of various members with a range of professional skills. An IT virtual team can confer such advantages as improving creativity and solving problems in e-business. However, virtual teams are less cohesive than off-line based teams, at least partly because they do not meet face-to-face to solve problems. If the cohesion of the members in a team is weak, overall performance can decrease. Therefore, this study seeks to understand the specific types of leadership needed to increase the cohesiveness of the members in a virtual team. Leadership is the most important factor for the successful operation of a virtual team. Leaders engage members with goals, and motivate them by creating positive relationships. This study describes the idealized influence of transformational leadership in which a leader directly engages members in a goal, and the role of participative goal setting in which members set their own goals. In addition, this research demonstrates the benefits of a positive attitude of a leader towards their team members and the influence of leader-member exchanges. If the cohesion of virtual teams is improved through specific leadership, the team members will be more committed to their teams and work, and the team's performance will improve. Furthermore, the successful operation of virtual teams will provide an opportunity for companies in e-business to gain a competitive advantage in the contemporary environment, where creativity is important.

Model house play an important role in the sale of apartments. However, model house can create social and environmental problems. Virtual reality's (VR) use for the creation of model house has been studied as a possible counter measure to these problems. Existing models don't satisfy consumers' queries. A virtual model house can give the experience of seeing a real home through simulation. Also, a virtual model house can allow a home buyer to change the furniture on display or the color of the walls to reflect the consumer's taste in the construction. The internal present condition system using absorption style virtual reality and open style virtual reality are the indispensable tools that are going to take the place of the current model home. A virtual model house is more profitable than a physical model house because of reduced costs and time savings. In addition, a virtual model house can offer new kinds of information that a physical model home can not. This study's purpose is to discuss the desired direction of the virtual model house in this crucial and dynamic period of development.

The virtual reality(VR) technology can provide various stimuli, including, visual and auditory stimuli, simultaneously in the virtual environment and encourage the user to interact. Virtual reality is a set of computer technologies, which when combined, provide an interactive interface to a computer generated world. In this world the subject can see, hear and navigate in a dynamically changing environment in which he participates as an active player, by modifying the environment according to his will. Moreover, the subject can get a feeling for the virtual environment in much the same way as one feels real life situations. In the real world, a plethora of information from various modalities may be in conflict, and modulate each other to form an illusion. In this study we investigated whether a tactile illusion on a real hand could be evoked by a virtual stimulus, the time required to generate this illusion and its duration. This study shows that the illusion occurred, and that was correlated with presence score in the virtual environment.

People are increasingly demanding to experience realistic behavior of virtual characters in computer games. In this article, we build a computer model for simulating a bicycle rider's behavior in a virtual riding system. A method to calculate the speed of a bicycle rider is proposed to improve the reality in a virtual riding system. In this method, the property of physical energy is introduced, and the bicycle-riding speed is calculated in real time according to the relationship between the rider's physical energy and bicycle-riding speed. Then based on the analysis of the behavior of a cyclist in a real competition, various behaviors of the virtual rider are designed and a behavior-tree for the virtual bicycle rider is constructed accordingly. On the basis of these, a virtual riding system is developed. The experiments results show that our system can simulate the behavior of a virtual bicycle rider, and thus encourage exercise on a stationary bicycle.
In this study, we design an applicable model enabling internet protocol television (IPTV) service providers to use a virtual network (VN) for IPTV service delivery. The model addresses the guaranteed service delivery, cost effectiveness, flexible control, and scalable network infrastructure limitations of backbone or IP overlay-based content networks. There are two major challenges involved in this research: i) The design of an efficient, cost effective, and reliable virtual network topology (VNT) for IPTV service delivery and the handling of a VN allocation failure by infrastructure providers (InPs) and ii) the proper approach to reduce the cost of VNT recontruction and reallocation caused by VNT allocation failure. Therefore, in this study, we design a more reliable virtual network topology for solving a single virtual node, virtual link, or video server failure. We develop a novel optimization objective and an efficient VN construction algorithm for building the proposed topology. In addition, we address the VN allocation failure problem by proposing VNT decomposition and reconstruction algorithms. Various simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed VNT, as well as that of the associated construction, decomposition, and reconstruction algorithms in terms of reliability and efficiency. The simulation results are compared with the findings of existing works, and an improvement in performance is observed.
Augmented reality techniques have been increasingly employed in the textile and fashion industry as well as computer graphics sectors. Three-dimensional virtual clothing CAD systems have also been widely used in the textile industries and academic institutes. Motion tracking techniques are grafted together in the 3D and augmented reality techniques in order to develop the virtual three-dimensional clothing and fitting systems in the fashion and textile industry sectors. In this study, three-dimensional virtual clothing sample has been prepared using a 3D virtual clothing CAD along with a 3D scanning and reconstruction system. Motion of the user has been captured through an RGB-D sensor system, and the virtual clothing fitted on the user's body is allowed to move along with the captured motion flow of the user. Acutal fabric specimens are selected for the material characterization. This study is a primary step toward building a comprehensive system for the user to experience interactively virtual clothing under real environment.
Recently, various virtual avatar music content that showcases singing and dancing have been produced, and as virtual artists gain popularity, offline virtual avatar concerts have also emerged. However, there are few examples of virtual avatar band content where avatars play instruments. In addition, offline virtual avatar concerts using large screens at the front are limited in their ability to utilize the fantastical effects and high degree of freedom unique to virtual reality. In this paper, inspired by these limitations of virtual avatar music content, we introduce the production case of virtual avatar band content and immersive interactive concert of virtual band idol Verse'day. Firstly, we present a case study on creating band performance animations and music videos using motion capture systems and real-time engines. Then, we introduce a production case of an immersive interactive concert using projection mapping technology and a light stick that allows real-time interaction in an offline concert. Finally, based on these production cases, we discussed the future research directions of developing virtual avatar music content creation. We expect that our production cases will inspire the creation of diverse virtual avatar music content and the development of immersive interactive offline virtual avatar concerts in the future.
The primary goal of virtual prototyping is to eliminate the need for fabricating physical prototypes, and to reduce cost and time for developing new products. A virtual prototyping seeks to create a virtual environment where the development of a new model can be flexible as well as rapid, and experiments can be carried out effectively concerning kinematics, dynamics, and control aspects of the model. This paper addresses the virtual environment used for virtual prototyping of a passenger vehicle. It has been developed using the dVISE environment that provides such useful features as actions, events, sounds, and light features. A vehicle model including features, and behaviors is constructed by employing an object-oriented paradigm and contains detailed information about a real-size vehicle. The human model is also implemented not only for visual and reach evaluations of the developed vehicle model, but also for behavioral visualization during a crash test. For the real time driving simulation, a neural network model is incorporated into the virtual environment. The cases of passing bumps with a vehicle are discussed in order to demonstrate the applicability of a set of developed models.
A virtual laboratory for measurement and instrumentation must aim to realize an integrated environment. To achieve this goal, we designed and implemented a client/server distributed environment and developed a web-based virtual laboratory system for electronic circuits. Since our virtual laboratory system is implemented to describe the on-campus laboratory, the learners can obtain similar experimental data through it. The proposed virtual laboratory system is composed of four important components Principle Classroom, Virtual Experiment Classroom, Evaluation Classroom and Overall Management System. Through our virtual laboratory, the learners will be capable of teaming the concepts and theories related to electronic circuit experiments and how to operate the experimental equipments such as multimeters, function generators, digital oscilloscopes and DC power supplies. Also, every activity occurred in our virtual laboratory is recorded on database and Printed out on the preliminary report form. All of these can be achieved by the aid of the Management System. The database connectivity is made by PHP and the virtual laboratory environment is set up slightly differently for each learner. Finally, we have obtained several affirmative effects such as reducing the total experimental hours and the damage rate for experimental equipments and increasing Loaming efficiencies as well as faculty productivity.
