철도차량벽체의 차음 성능에 대한 제진시트의 영향 고찰 (A study on the sound insulation performance of damping sheet attached to the train wall)

  • This study deals with the sound insulation performance of the damping sheet, which is widely used in a train. The wall of train is assumed to be a plate made of steel and two damping sheets. In case of damping sheet only, the sound transmission loss follows the mass law. If a steel plate is attached to damping sheet, the transmission loss is found to be higher than single of only steel plate, as we can anticipated, about $3{\sim}5$ dB. This is very well known consequence that is because the density of area increases. However, the increase of the transmission loss is not higher than what we can expect by the mass law. That's because the steel is perfectly blocked from the transmission of the air ; There is no defect in that material.

적응성을 가진 강인한 비선형 예측제어기 설계 (Design of an Adaptive Robust Nonlinear Predictive Controller)

  • In this paper, an adaptive robust nonlinear predictive controller is developed for the continuous time nonlinear systems whose control objective is composed of the system output and its desired value. The basic control law is derived from the continuous time prediction model and its feedback dynamcis shows another from if input and output linearization. In order to cope with the parameter uncertainty, robust control is incorporated into the basic control law and the asymptotic convergence of tracking error to a certain bounded region is guaranteed. For stability and performance improvement within the bounded region, an adaptive control is introduced. Simulation tests for the motion control of an underwater wall-ranging robot confirm the performance improvement and the robustness of this controller.

  • 지반-유체-구조물 시스템에 대한 1g 진동대 실험을 위한 상사법칙의 유효성을 검증하기 위하여 일련의 모형실험을 수행하였다. 크기가 서로 다른 3가지의 모형에 대한 실험결과 분석에는 lai가 제안한 상사법칙뿐만 아니라 과잉간극수압 발생을 위한 정상상태개념도 적용하여 각 크기의 모형이 예측하는 안벽시스템의 거동을 서로 비교하였다. 그 결과, 가속도와 과잉간극수압, 그리고 변위 응답의 경우, 가장 작은 모형벽체와 가장 큰 모형벽체는 비슷한 값을 예측한 반면, 중간크기의 모형벽체는 공진현상으로 인해 엉뚱하게 큰 값을 예측하였다. 또한 벽체의 수직침하와 회전각은 모형의 크기와 관계없이 모형벽체시스템의 크기가 증가할수록 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다.

매끄러운 하상위 난류의 내부 영역 유속 분포 공식 (An Inner Region Velocity-Profile Formula of Turbulent Flows on Smooth Bed)

  • 난류의 내부 영역의 유속은 단순한 공식으로 표현하기 매우 어려운 형태를 가지고 있다. 이 속도 분포를 기술하는 여러 가지 공식들이 제안된 바 있지만, 모든 공식들은 많은 항들을 가지거나 적분형 또는 음함수꼴을 가지고 있다. 이것은 이 식들이 적용하기 힘들거나, 매개 변수들을 추정하기 어렵다는 것을 의미한다. 이 연구에서는 매끄러운 바닥 위를 흐르는 난류 내부 영역의 유속 분포를 표현할 수 있는 간단한 형태의 새로운 공식을 제안하였다. 이 공식은 전통적인 대수 법칙에 감쇄 함수를 곱한 형태이다. 단 하나의 추가적인 매개 변수를 도입하여, 전체 내부 영역의 유속 분포를 적절하게 표현할 수 있었다. 이 공식은 벽법칙이 성립하는 바닥 근처의 유속과 대수 법칙이 성립되는 중복 영역의 유속 분포까지를 적절하게 나타낼 수 있다. 또한, 추가된 매개 변수인 감쇄 계수는 쉽게 추정할 수 있다. 이 변수는 Reynolds 수의 변화에 민감하지 않으며, 공식에 의하여 계산된 유속 분포도 또한 이 매개 변수의 변화에 대해서 민감하지 않다.

  • Multi-path ultrasonic flowrate measuring technology is being received much attentions from a variety of industrial fields to exactly measure the flowmeter. Multi-path ultrasonic flowmeter has much advantage since it has no moving parts and not occurred pressure loss. It offers good accuracy, repeatability, linearity and Tum-down ratio can measure over 1:50. The present study investigates flowrate integration errors using weighting factors. A theoretical flow model uses power law to describe a fully developed velocity profiles and wall roughness changes. The methods of weighting factor simulate three configurations of measuring location of gaussian, chebyshev and tailor method. The obtained results show that many chord arrangements are not affected for wall roughness changes and can measure accurate flowrate.

벽면난류에 대한 미세와 구조와 입자분산 (Particle Dispersion and Fine Scale Eddies in Wall Turbulence)

  • To investigate a relation between fine scale eddies and particle dispersion in a near-wall turbulence, direct numerical simulations of turbulent channel flow laden particle are performed for $Re_{\tau}$=180. The motions of 0,8 million particles are calculated for several particle response times ($t_p$) which is the particle response time based on stokes’ friction law. The number density of particles has a tendency to increase with approaching the near-wall regions ($y^+$<20) except for cases of very small and large particle response times (i.e. $t_p$=0.02 and 15). Near the wall, the behavior and distribution of particles are deeply associated with the fine scale eddies, and are dependent on particle response times and a distance from the wall. The Stokes number that causes preferential distribution in turbulence is changed by a distance from the wall. The influential Stokes number based on the Burgers' vortex model is derived by using the time scale of the fine scale eddies. The influential Stokes number is also dependent on a distance from the wall and shows large value in the buffer layer.

Seismic performance and design method of PRC coupling beam-hybrid coupled shear wall system

  • The seismic behavior of PRC coupling beam-hybrid coupled shear wall system is analyzed by using the finite element software ABAQUS. The stress distribution of steel plate, reinforcing bar in coupling beam, reinforcing bar in slab and concrete is investigated. Meanwhile, the plastic hinges developing law of this hybrid coupled shear wall system is also studied. Further, the effect of coupling ratio, section dimensions of coupling beam, aspect ratio of single shear wall, total height of structure and the role of slab on the seismic behavior of the new structural system. A fitting formula of plate characteristic values for PRC coupling beams based on different displacement requirements is proposed through the experimental date regression analysis of PRC coupling beams at home and abroad. The seismic behavior control method for PRC coupling beam-hybrid coupled shear wall system is proposed based on the continuous connection method and through controlling the coupling ratio, the roof displacement, story drift angle of hybrid coupled shear wall system, displacement ductility of coupling beam.

  • The severe shortage of the available sites in the highly developed downtown area in Korea necessitates the construction of high-rise buildings which meet the need of residence and commercial activity simultaneously. The objective of this study is to investigate the seismic performance of this type of building structures. For this purpose, two 1 :12 scale 17-story reinforced concrete model structures were constructed according to the similitude law, in which the upper 15 stories have a bearing-wall system while the lower 2-story frames have two different layouts of the plan The one is a moment-resisting frame system and the other is a moment-resisting frame system with a infilled shear wall. Then, this model was subjected to a series of earthquake excitations. The test results show that the existence of shear wall reduced the shear deformation at the piloti frame, but has almost the negligible effect on the reduction of the overturning-moment angle.

  • The purpose of this research is to document and analyse spatial transformation of an unauthorized dwelling units on a peculiar site of Seoul. It's physically attached to the behind part of the west boundary wall of Chang-Duk Palace. These dwelling units took not only the site, the narrow street which had been a stream, but also the two parallel walls of others for their home. The two walls, one from the palace wall and the other from the wall of a house which distanced itself from the palace wall about 3.5 m for the reason of the Cultural Properties Protection Law, have been held as the main structural members in forming the shelter. With examining the realm of time which provide the base of the spatial realm, this research shows how the multiple linkages tangled in an illegal shack did gain and actualize an architectural language of idiosyncrasy with spontaneous order inherent in inhabitants.
