농용(農用) 트랙터의 승차진동(乘車振動) 평가에 관한 연구(III) -승차진동의 측정과 평가- (Evaluation of Ride Vibration of Agricultural Tractors(III) -Measurement and Evaluation of Ride Vibrations-)

  • Vertical and horizontal ride vibrations of the selected agricultural tractors were measured and evaluated with respect to the ISO 2631 'guide for the evaluation of human exposure to whole body vibration'. Evaluation showed that at the normal transportation speeds of 1.4~20km/h on both the concret and ground surfaces tractor drivers were exposed to the vibrations whose magnitudes exceed the 8 hour fatigue decreased proficiency boundary in the frequency ranges of 2~16Hz in vertical and 1~2Hz in horizontal directions. Considering that tractor operation becomes as one of the specialized job for the future farming in Korea, measures must be made to protect the drivers against harmful ride vibrations of agricultural tractors.

심층혼합처리 공법의 도심지 공사 적용성 연구 (Applicability Study on Deep Mixing for Urban Construction)

  • 본 연구에서는 일반적으로 연약지반 개량 공사에 사용하는 심층혼합처리 공법을 도심지 공사에서 지반개량 공법으로 적용하는 방안을 평가하였다. 심층혼합처리 공법을 협소한 도심지 현장에서도 시공이 가능하도록 소형화시킨 시공 장비를 사용하여 서울 시내 재개발 현장에서 기초 지반개량 목적으로 적용하고 개량한 지반의 강도 특성, 지반교반 시 발생한 진동, 시공위치와 인접한 석축구조물에 발생한 변위를 측정하였다. 강도 시험 및 현장계측 결과 심층혼합처리 공법은 원지반의 강도를 효과적으로 개량시켰으며 시공 시 발생시킨 진동과 인접 구조물에 발생한 변위가 미소하여 도심지 공사에서 요구하는 기준을 만족시키는 것으로 판단되었다. 따라서 심층혼합처리 공법은 소음 및 진동 문제가 중요한 고려사항인 도심지 공사에서 기초공법으로 유용하게 적용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Ground-born vibration at multileveled train tunnel crossing

  • In recent railway projects where the railway connects between cities, newly planned tunnels are often located close to, or beneath an existing tunnel. Many claims and petitions have voiced public concern about the vibration and noise resulting from the situation. Vibrations and noises are engineering issues as well as environmental problems, and have become more important as people have become more concerned with their the quality of life. However, it is unlikely that the effects of vibration in situations where trains simultaneously pass a multileveled tunnel crossing have been appropriately considered in the phase of planning and design. This study investigates the superposition characteristic of ground-born vibrations from a multileveled tunnel crossing. The results from model tests and numerical analysis show that the ground-born vibration can be amplified by a maximum of about 30% compared to that resulting from the existing single tunnel. Numerical parametric study has also shown that the vibration amplification effect increases as the ground stiffness, the tunnel depth, and the distance between tunnels decrease.

  • Ground vibrations induced from railroad were measured to get the basic data that can be usde to prepare countermeasures for solving environmental vibration problems. Vibration levels were measured simultaneously at three points in double distances from railroad. These data were analuzed with the kinds of trains, media to understand the magnitudes and characteristics of distance attenuation of railroad vibrations.

설문에 의한 철도 진동의 거리별 영향 조사 (Effect of Vibration From Railroad by Distance using Questionare)

  • The psychological, physiological, and material effects of ground vibrations induced from railroad were surveyed with the magnitudes of vibration sensing using questionnaire on residents living near railroad. These magnitude of vibration sensing and effects were compared as rate or percent total based on double distances from railraod. Also overall effects of railraod vibrations were compared with vibration levels measured or predicted. The about 70% of residents living within 40m from railroad sense railroad vibration, 15% of residents are influenced phychologically. But physilogical and material effects disappeared beyond 40m.

  • In this paper, the optimal command input is considered in order to minimize the residual vibrations of a flexible cantilever beam when the beam simply changes its position by translation or rotation. Although a cantilever beam has many modes of vibration, it is shown that the consideration of the first mode is sufficient in this case. Thus, the problem becomes a single-degree-of-freedom system subjected to a ground excitation. Two simple methods are proposed to find the optimal command input based on the shock response spectrum (SRS). The first method is the simplest and can be applied to lightly damped cases, and the second method is applicable to more general problems. The second method gives almost the same results as the input shaping method. However the proposed method gives a easier and clearer control strategy.

파시르 탄광에서의 발파진동의 전파특성 분석 (Analysis of the Propagation Characteristics of Blast Vibrations in Pasir Coal Mine)

  • 인도네시아 파시르 탄광에서는 전형적으로 일자유면 발파방법이 사용되고 있다. 일반적으로 이 방법은 노천에서 지표면을 유일한 자유면으로 한 발파법이므로 구속이 커서 화약의 에너지가 저항선의 파괴에 효율적으로 사용되지 못하고 발파의 부작용으로 간주되는 지반진동의 유발에 많이 소모된다. 현재 파시르 탄광에서는 모암의 제거를 위한 굴착발파에 이와 같은 일자유면 발파방법을 적용하고 있지만 이는 노천광산에서 일반적으로 적용되는 이자유면 발파인 계단식 발파에 비해 큰 지반진동을 유발할 가능성이 높다 더욱이 파시르 탄광의 경우 노천 채굴적의 양안이 연약사면으로 이루어진 곳이 많아 높은 지반진동 수준은 이들 사면의 안정성에 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있다 또한, 진동문제와는 별도로 일자유면 발파는 저항선이 하나뿐이므로 암반파괴의 측면에서도 발파효율이 좋지 않다. 따라서 파시르 탄광에서 나타나고 있는 발파의 비효율성과 진동증가 문제를 개선할 목적으로 새로운 발파공법에 대한 연구가 착수되었으며, 이 연구의 일환으로 현행 발파공법에 대한 조사가 기 수행된 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 파시르 탄광에서 수행한 지반진동의 계측과정과 결과를 현행 발파공법과 함께 제시하고, 측정된 자료에 대한 통계처리를 통해 대상지역에서의 지반진동의 전파특성을 분석하였다.

  • This research is concerned with ground experiments for satellite solar array deployment. The dynamic characteristics of the strain energy hinge is very important since it affects the shape and the speed of the solar array deployment. the rapid deployment results in overshoot and undesirable residual vibrations. The experimental results are in good agreement with theoretical results.

암반굴착에 의한 발파진동, 소음 및 비석의 조절 (Control of Blast Vibration, Air Blast, and Fly Rock in Rock Excavation)

  • Blasting operations associated with rock excavation work may have an environmental impact in nearby structures or human beings. With the increase of construction work in urban areas, vibration problems and complaints have also increased. In order to determine the optimum design parameters for safe blast, it is essential to understand blast mechanism, design variables involved in blast-induced damage, and their effects on the blasting results. This paper deals with the characteristics of ground vibrations, air blast and fly rock caused by blast, including the general method of establishing the vibration predictors, and damage criteria suggested by various investigators. The results of field measurements from open pit mine and tunnel construction work are discussed. Basic concepts of how to design blast parameters to control the generation of ground vibrations, air blast and fly rock are presented.

New methodology to prevent blasting damages for shallow tunnel

  • From all of the environmental problems, blast-induced vibrations often cause concern to surrounding residents. It is often claimed that damage to building superstructures is due to blasting, and sometimes the building owner files a lawsuit against the company that perform blasting operations. The blast-vibration problem has been thoroughly investigated in the past and continues to be the subject of ongoing research. In this study, a tunnel construction has been performed by a construction company, according to their contract they must have used drilling & blasting method for excavation in tunnel inlet and outlet portal. The population is very condensed with almost tunnel below in the vicinity houses of one or two floors, typically built with stone masonry and concrete. This situation forces the company to take extreme precautions when they are designing blasts so that the blast effects, which are mainly vibration and aerial waves, do not disturb their surrounding neighbors. For this purpose, the vibration measurement and analysis have been carried out and a new methodology in minimizing the blast induced ground vibrations at the target location, was also applied. Peak particle velocity and dominant frequencies were taken into consideration in analyzing the blast-induced ground vibration. The methodology aims to employ the most suitable time delays among blast-hole groupings to render destructive interference of surface waves at the target location.
