The summary of a study of efficacy of Rose essential oil and Lavender essential oil against skin-inflammation caused to surfactant is as follows. As a result of protein analysis, although Rose essential oil and Lavender essential oil stimulates skin, there is no much alteration of protein. The alteration of protein's bend to be under part of 43Kd is appeared in the group treated Rose essential oil and Lavender essential oil. The stratum of the group treated by surfactant is more, the stratum of the group treated by surfactant is more thick. As the observed result of alteration of basal layer, it is seen that the group treated Rose essential oil and Lavender essential oil takes the shape of cell layer constant, and the group treated Rose essential oil is made the basal cell layer of normal structure than that of Lavender essential oil. As the observed result of alteration of Mast cell group treated by Rose essential oil and Lavender essential oil for 3 weeks Luna's stain(${\times}20$), (${\times}100$), it is observed that the damaged group treated by Lavender essential oil is numerous in alteration of mast cell's number, and Mast cell's size is larger than the damaged group.

The result of the study for essential oil(Bergamot, Grapefruit essential oil)'s Anaiysis of Blood Serum Epidermis proteins by exposure of nature lays on treatments are as follows. 1. There is no significant difference between control group and the groups treated by essential oil in feed efficiency, but in water intake, there are significant differences between each group. Water intake of the groups treated by Bergamot and Grapefruit essential oil without treatment by sun cream is higher than that of any other group. It is presented that the effect of losing water of the surface of skin is related to the balance effect of water. 2. As a result of serum analysis without applied UV-rays, the total cholesterol in the groups treated by Bergamot essential oil is higher than that of the groups treated by Grapefruit essential oil. It is showed that the dissolution of cellulite of Grapefruit essential oil is stronger than that of Bergamot essential oil. After applied UV-rays, however, the change of total cholesterol of the groups treated by Bergamot essential oil is lower than that of the groups treated by Grapefruit essential oil, namely, the group treated by Bergamot essential oil drops is used to make sebum membrane on the surface of skin, so the quantity of influx into blood vessel was low. With the result that, atherosclerotic index(A.I) also was low in the group treated by Grapefruit essential oil. In the aspect of increasing cholesterol for obesity treatment, it was judged that the effect of treatment with Bergamot essential oil is somewhat slower than that with Grapefruit essential oil, but it is safer than the effect of treatment with Grapefruit essential oil in the aspect of health. 3. As a result of protein analysis, the groups applied UV-rays in the group of treated by Bergamot essential oil, the biggest change of protein's band was appeared under part of 20.0 1Kd in the change pattern of protein. As the trend of changing protein at the groups treated by SPF 15 and 30 was similar to that of the groups of the control, it was showed that the effect of sun cream can prevent the change of the composition of skin. In the groups treated by Grapefruit essential oil, after the groups treated by Grapefruit essential oil applied UV-rays, the biggest change of protein's bend was appeared the upper part of 43Kd in the change pattern of protein. It was also judged that it means the change of the composition of skin. However, the trend of changing protein at the groups treated by SPF 15 and 30 was also similar to that of the groups of the control. Eventually, it was also showed that it can prevent the change of the composition of skin by the effect of sun cream.

Efficiency study of chamomile and Thyme essential oil about the basal layer & sebaceous gland in dry-skin induced by surfactant is as following : 1. Formal observation of outer skin layer and basal layer There was refreshing effects about Surfactant induction skin inflammation in Chamomile, Thyme essential oil processing group but effect in surface layer appeared by higher thing in Chamomile essential oil and it could know that thing which do not use Thyme essential oil in case Thyme essential oil is ultraviolet rays allergy at skin care because Melanocyte appear on the surface is bigger than Chamomile essential oil that it was usefully reaction in basal layer. 2. Formal observation result of sebaceous glands. There are few damages in all group but there is recuperative through excessive water damage by excessive a sebaceous gland made of mulberry bark secretion because Thyme essential oil application group cause chapped skin phenomenon after surface-active agent processing but is seen that difference does not exist greatly and Thyme essential oil that general skin is strong in permeation is effective, but Surfactant induction skin inflammation estimates that Chamomile essential oil is effective. Therefore, it was considered that use of Chamomile essential oil is effectiveness than Thyme essential oil by essential oil used for recovery after damage of inflammation etc..
The essential oil fraction of Leonurus sibiricus was analyzed by TLC and gas chromatography. By utilizing silica gel column, a ketone compound, m.w. 167, was isolated from the essential oil. The essential oil showed considerably the diuretic action, but the water extract exhibited weak action. This diuretic action of the water extract was potentiated by combined administration of essential oil. On the isolated rabbit's uterus the essential oil decreased spontanous movement and showed relaxation.
Antioxidative and antimicrobial activities of essential oils of cassia (Cinnamomum cassia) and dill (Anethum graveolens L.) were investigated. Essential oils used in this study were added to soybean oil and stored at $65^{\circ}C$ for 9 days to examine their antioxidant activities using peroxide value (POV). The results showed that dill essential oil possessed a higher antioxidant activity than cassia essential oil. Strong antimicrobial activity was observed in cassia essential oil, whereas low activity was observed in dill essential oil against the test microorganisms. Heat stability and cell growth inhibitions were investigated with different concentrations of cassia oil. Results showed that cassia oil had thermal stability in a wide range of $70-160^{\circ}C$. Cassia inhibited cell growth of Bacillus cereus KCTC 1022, Micrococcus luteus A TCC 9341 and Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, but not great on Salmonella typhimurium ATCC 14028 at level of 200 ppm. In conclusion, the results indicate that dill essential oil could be a potential candidate for an antioxidative agent, while cassia essential oil could be suitable for use as an antimicrobial agent in the food industry.
Seasonal variations in the profile and concentrations of essential oil in Zanthoxylum piperitum were investigated by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Seasonal changes in the percentages of the main constituents of the essential oil of both leaves and fruits from Z. piperitum varied. Variations in essential oil yield and the amount of monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes in leaves and fruits at different developmental stages were significant. The characteristic content of essential oil in leaves was determined mainly due to the content of monoterpenes, and that in fruits was determined largely due to the sesquiterpenes. Twenty-nine compounds in the oil from Z. piperitum leaves were detected; the major compounds were ${\beta}$-phellandrene (26.90%), citronella (15.32%), ${\beta}$-myrcene (3.24%), ${\alpha}$-pinene (2.79%), trans-caryophyllene (2.66%), and fanesyl acetate (2.30%). The highest yield of oil (43.89%) in Z. piperitum leaves was obtained in May but decreased gradually beginning in June. The yield of essential oil from Z. piperitum leaves during early periods was higher than that during later periods and usually decreased from early maturation stages to subsequent stages. However, in contrast to leaves, the oil yield in Z. piperitum fruit increased in June, and oil yield later in the season was higher than that earlier in the season. These results indicate that the essential oil produced from Z. piperitum leaves at the early developmental stages was stored in leaves, and might be transferred to fruit at the final developmental stages.
The effectiveness of Palmarosa and Neroli essential oil on dry skin of rat induced by kitchen detergent are investigated. The experimental groups were divided the control group (C), group treated with surfactant (A1), group treated with Palmarosa (A2), group treated with Neroli (A3), group treated with Palmarosa and Neroli (A4). The protein analysis of all experimental groups was performed with SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and observation of epidermis and the alteration of mast cell were performed with photomicroscope. According to the protein analysis, the A3 group treated with Neroli essential oil was appeared the most similar with the control group. And then the A4 group treated with Palmarosa + Neroli essential oil was appeared the most similar with the control group. According to the results of morphologic view with keratin layer, the keratin layer's breakaway resulting from Palmarosa essential oil, the keratin layer's restoration resulting from Neroli essential oil was appeared. And then the structure of the epidermal layer was preserved by hyperkeratosis reaction. In photomicrosopic obersevation of mast cell to examine the inflammatory reactions, the increase in size and number of mast cell were showed in A1 group treated with surfactant compared to the control group (C). The number of mast cells definitely decreased in groups (A3, A4) which were treated with Neroli essential oil.
Objectives: Antibiotics help treat Vaginitis, and prolonged usage of antibiotics can lead to resistance. Methods: This study investigates the antimicrobial activity of two types of lactic acid bacteria using essential oils. After cultivation by adding grapefruit seed extract (GSE), eucalyptus, tea tree, clove bud, cinnamon, lemongrass, thyme, and ginger oils in a specific ratio, pathogenic microorganisms, namely E. coli, C. albicans, and lactic acid bacteria were released. The number of bacteria was measured using a medium suitable for the strains. Results: The essential oils and GSE inhibited pathogenic microorganisms, and the inhibitory concentration of GSE against pathogenic bacteria (E. coli, C. albicans) was confirmed. The non-inhibitory mixing ratio was also confirmed (50 μl of eucalyptus globulus (EG) oil and 50 μl of melaleuca alternifolia oil (tea tree oil, TTO) at 200 ppm GSE (pH 5.0, 5.5, 6.0)). Conclusion: Essential oils can be considered as an alternative to antibiotics because of their antibacterial properties. They are useful as auxiliary antibacterial agents for patients under long-term antibiotic treatment.
The experiment attempts to find out the effect of the mixture of the antimicrobial agent and insecticide on metallic material including Silver(99.9%), Copper(99.9%), Lead(99.9%) and Iron(99.5%) by Oddy test. The mixtures of the antimicrobial agent and insecticide were prepared in 60ml; with the standard concentration of 17.5% in B77 Essential oil mixture, one for mixture of concentration of ${\pm}1{\sim}2%$ and insect repellent material; the other for mixture of low concentration and antimicrobial agent(BS-2 and BS-3) material. After Oddy test, we investigated the variation in the surface of the samples by visual inspection, weighing, color measurement and SEM-EDS analysis. The result showed that Lead had the biggest change in the surface, and Copper had the biggest change in the color. In addition, changes in the samples before and after the experiment were found to be greatest at concentration of 19% of Essential oil mixture of the antimicrobial agent and insecticide. Also, B78 Essential oil mixture produce change in samples. It means when the concentration of oil mixture rises, the variation of the samples gets bigger. And, the low concentration of mixture including B77 Essential oil mixture and B78 Essential oil mixture also produce big change in the samples. However, the low concentration of B77 Essential oil mixture that do not contain B78 Essential oil mixture was able to confirm that the change of the surface is not large.

The summary of a study of efficacy of Rose essential oil and Lavender essential oil against physiologic active change s of skin caused to surfactant is as follows. 1. In feed intake efficiency, there is more significant difference than control group, and then in water intake, there are significant differences between each group. It is presented that the water intake efficiency ratio of the group treated by Rose essential oil and Lavender essential oil is higher than all of groups to be participated in experiment. And then, the reason that the group treated Lavender essential oil is lower than any other group is needed water intake to be caused by stress. 2. As the result of serum analysis, in atherosclerotic index(A.I), the cholesterol of control group is higher than that of the group treated. As HDL cholesterol is activated, the dan1aged group is higher than control group, in LDL cholesterol the control group is higher. It is seen that the damaged group of the quantity of HDL cholesterol is lower frequently in A.I. This fact is presented that HDL cholesterol that cholesterol is exhausted is changed, because of the dan1aged group that replacement is activated. 3. As the observed result of alteration of sebaceous glands, it is appeared that the demage of sebaceous glands is destroyed in the damaged group. It is observed that epidermis of the group applied by Rose essential oil after treated surfactant is dry, secretion of phenomenon of water and sebum is appeared more. It is observed that the epidermis recovery of the group applied by Lavender essential oil after treated surfactant is insufficient. And then it is seen that stratum corneum is recovered and the quantity of sebum secretion is decreased. 4. As the observed result of alteration of Mast cell group treated by Rose essential oil and Lavender essential oil for 3 weeks Luna's stain(${\times}100$), it is observed that the damaged group treated by Lavender essential oil is numerous in alteration of mast cell's number and Mast cell's size is larger than the dan1aged group. It is presented that the Mast cell's number and Mast cell's size is larger than the damaged group, the Mast cell's size and quantity of the group treated by Rose essential oil and Lavender essential oil is decreased more.
