The Disparity of Identity Between the Self of the Cyber-space and the Self of the Virtual-space (사이버공간과 실공간에서의 자아 정체의 불일치)

  • This study investigated the self wrapping made possible through the anonymity of cuber-space. According to the analysis of the data, which were collected from the online for 2 days, 2,168 respondents were grouped into three types: Those maintaining the strong sense of identity achievement), 53.8%, those experiencing confusion(identity diffusion), 38.3%, and those losing the sense of identity(foreclosure), 7.9%. Among the general respondents, it was reported that the case of sex wrapping was 11.4%, that of occupation, 40.1%, and that of marital status, 60.6%. Specially 11.4% of the sex wrapper took heterogeneous gender identity, while 7% performed dual sex roles. The rate of gender wrapping of female respondents was higher than that of male ones, which reflects female respondents' longing for male sex. Self-disparity between cyber-space and virtual-space was related with the type of self-identity and gender-identity. The rate of self-disparity between cuber-space and virtual-space was 9%. If it occurred continuously, it may cause individual mental division and maladjustment.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the ideas about childrearing represented on the cuber space. The method used for this study is the content analysis and the data are articles on the Hitel bulletin board during 1 year. It is found that these articles dealt with problems of practices in the pregnancy-delivery, nurturing, teaching and interfacing between home and social institutions. Especially these articles put great emphasis on nurturing. For example, there are many articles about caring, development, health and hygiene of child. And from 1st to 6th month, there are many articles about nurturing. After 7th month, many articles about teaching and interfacing between home and social institutions are appeared. So from these results we might conclude that many functions of the home are transmitted to society too early.

A Study of Virtual 3D Fashion Coordination (가상 3D 패션 코디네이션 연구)

  • Today, many people seek for their own personal character which is distinguished from another people and they utilize fashion coordination as the was of expression their own image. In addition, interest in electronic commerce and cuber shopping mall on the internet is increasing. For this reason, visual and interesting virtual fashion coordination system is needed. The purpose of this study is to propose possibility of fashion coordination by virtual 3D model. For this study, 1. We make a 3D standard body model by automatic generation. 2. We make 3D fashion item (sleeveless top and flare skirt) by automatic generation. 3. We combine 3D body model with fashion item by special point, grouping and gap being between body and clothes. 4. We make textile palettes and textile DB for texture mapping and rendering. As a effect of this study, 1. It can give the chance to coordinate clothes suitable for their own character and bodyshape on the cuber space more speedily and variously. 2. It can help fashion internet shopping mall company can save a time, expenses and tries to advertise their new products, offer service for customers and lead customers to purchasing. 3. It can accumulate a database of design and textile for using by fashion and textile industry.
