예비보육교사들의 교사효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 (A Study on Factors Affecting Teacher Efficacy of Preservice Child-care Teachers)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 예비보육교사들의 교육신념과 보육헌신이 교사효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 무엇인지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 I시에 소재한 예비보육교사 239명을 대상으로 질문지를 사용하여 실시하였다. 연구결과에 대하여 첫째, 예비보육교사들이 지각한 교육신념은 성숙주의가, 보육헌신에서는 교육애가, 교사효능감은 교수전략과 학생참여가 가장 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비보육교사들의 교육신념, 보육헌신, 교사효능감에서 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비유아교사들의 교육신념과 보육헌신이 교사효능감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과로 볼 때, 보육교사의 역할과 중요성을 인식하고 질 높은 보육서비스 향상을 위하여 교사효늠감이 형성될 수 있는 보육교사교육과 전문성인식에 대한 내실화를 마련하는데 다양한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

교사효능감이 영아의 어린이집 적응에 미치는 영향: 교사-영아 관계의 매개효과 (The Influences of Teacher Efficacy on Infant's Adjustment to Child Care Centers: The Mediated Effect of Teacher-Infant Relationships)

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the mediated effect of teacher-infant relationships between teacher efficacy and infant's adjustment to child care centers. Methods: A total of 137 child care teachers that lived in Gwangju and Jeollanamdo participated in this study. They were asked to answer two survey questionnaires for two infants. The data were analyzed using analysis of frequency, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Results: The main results are as follows. First, teacher-infant relationships partially mediated the relationship between teacher efficacy and two sub-factors (prosocial behavior and day work adjustment) of adjustment in child care centers. Unlikely as it was, several sub-factors such as positive emotion, peer adaptation, and self-strength were fully mediated by teacher-infant relationships. Conclusion: The present study suggests that it is necessary to improve teacher-infant relationships with teacher efficacy in order to improve infants' adaptation to daycare. In addition, it should be understood that the structural relationship of the influence factors is different depending on the sub-factors of the child care adjustment.

유아의 기관이용시간이 언어, 인지 및 사회성 발달에 미치는 영향: 교사-유아 상호작용의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Young Children's Hours Spent at Kindergartens or Child Care Centers on their Language, Cognition, and Social Development: Focusing on Mediating Effects of Teacher-child Interactions)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of young children's stay hours on kindergartens or child care centers on their language, cognition, and social development with teacher-child interactions as a mediator. For this purpose, the data from the 2013 Panel Study on Korean Children were analyzed using the GLM and pattern analysis. The results of the GLM analysis were as follows. First, the main effects of the stay hours on child development were statistically significant Second, the main effects of the level of teacher-child interaction were also statistically significant on the results of child development. Third, the moderating effect of teacher-child interaction level between the stay hours and child development were also significant. The results showed that young children's stay hours effected their language, cognitive, and social development and teacher-child interactions mediated these effects.

보육교사 조직 내 소진에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors of Child Care Teacher's Burnout)

  • The Purpose of this study was to review the theoretical background of burnout in child care teachers organization. Personal factors, Organizational factors, social factors and the factors affecting burnout I examined. The results of this study were as follows. First, Child care teachers need to be burnout to participate in Prevention programs. Second, child care teacher is required to ensure proper staffing, improved working environment through compliance with statutory working hours. Third, Various institutional arrangements required to control the variables affecting child care teachers. Fourth, Child care teacher's role to prevent excessive strategy is needed.

보육교사의 교수 신념 유형에 따른 보육과정 운영 (Child Care Curricula According to Teacher's Teaching Method Types)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine different child care curricula according to teacher's teaching method types. The subjects of the study were three hundred and fifty-six teachers, who were divided into four groups according to their teaching method: mixed method(type A), child oriented method(type B), teacher oriented method(type C), and beliefless method(type D). The data on the duration of free play and outdoor play time, activities frequently practiced in class, and outside one the playground were collected. The dimensions of child care programs were measured using Moore(1994)'s "The Early Childhood Dimensions of Education Rating Scale". The results of this study were as follows: first, teachers who used child oriented teaching methods gave more free play time than teachers using teacher oriented or mixed teaching methods. Second, teachers using teacher oriented methods showed the closeness and teachers using child oriented methods showed the openness in child care programs. Last, the activities teachers thought were the most important differed according to the teachers' methods even though in actual practice, there was no difference shown.

어린이집 주임교사의 역할수행에 대한 관련 변인: 직업 선택 동기, 직무 환경 및 원장의 변혁적 리더십을 중심으로 (Relevant Factors in the Performance of the Functions of the Child in Charge of the House: Motivation for Selecting Child-Care Profession, Job Environment, Director's Transformational Leadership)

  • This study analyzes the motivation for selecting child-care profession, job environment, director's transformational leadership associated with child-care center teacher's (lead teacher and head teacher) role performance. The subjects of this study were 336 teachers (lead teacher and head teacher) who worked in a child-care center located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 23.0 program using t-test, F-test, analysis of variance, post-hoc analysis (Duncan), Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, the study inquired on if the child-care center teacher's general characteristics (year) influence the child-care center teacher's role performance. Consequently, significant differences were not found in overall role performance according to teacher's career but not in the child-care center teacher's age, academic ability, and licensing. Second, the motivation for selecting profession (teaching aptitude, teacher's desire for social respect, and possibility of self-realization), job environment, and director's transformational leadership had a significant positive correlation with overall role performance. The motivation for selecting profession (without motives) had a significant negative correlation with overall role performance. Third, the strongest predictors of 'overall role performance' were teaching aptitude, variable of motivation for selecting child-care profession, and director's transformational leadership variable.

보육교사의 아동학대 신고의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Teacher Intention to Report Child Abuse at Child Care Centers)

  • Objective: This study aims to examine the factors associated with teacher intention to report child abuse in child care centers. Methods: Data were collected from teachers at child care centers in the Jeonbuk region, using a self-administered questionnaire. In this study, 186 completed questionnaires were used to analyze the data. Results: The respondents reported their intention to report child abuse as follows: physical abuse(49.5%), emotional abuse(16.1%), sexual abuse(12.9%), and neglect(15.6%). The multiple hierarchical regression analyses revealed that participation at child abuse prevention training programs and awareness of reporting procedures were significantly associated with teacher intention to report child abuse at child care centers in Model 2. Also, attitudes towards reporting child abuse were significantly associated with teacher intention to report child abuse in Model 3. Conclusion/Implications: This study suggests evaluating chid abuse prevention training programs more accurately because the respondents who did not participate in the programs showed statistically significant higher mean scores of intention to report child abuse than who participated(1.83 vs .85). In addition, educational programs about child abuse for teachers in child care centers need to focus on changes in attitudes towards reporting child abuse, which in turn can change behavior.

직장어린이집 교사헌신과 교사효능감과의 관계 (A Relationship between Teacher Commitment and Teacher Efficacy in Workplace Child-Care Center)

  • 본 연구는 직장어린이집 교사들을 대상으로 교사헌신의 차이를 알아보고, 교사헌신과 교사효능감과의 관계를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 경기도 내에 소재한 직장어린이집 교사 176명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며 일원분산분석(ANOVA), Scheff$\acute{e}$ 사후검증, Pearson상관분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 교사헌신과 교사효능감은 높은 정적상관을 보였다. 직장어린이집 교사의 교사헌신은 높은 수준으로 나타났으며 영유아에 대한 헌신이 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한 교사의 학력과 경력 및 담당학급 영유아의 연령과 기관의 전체 교사 수에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구는 직장어린이집 교사의 내적 특성으로서 교사헌신을 지원할 수 있는 방안 마련의 기초자료를 제공하였다는데 의의가 있으며, 추후에는 유치원 및 어린이집 유형에 따른 교사헌신과 효능감을 연계지어 연구해 볼 필요가 있을 것이다.

교사-부모 협력과 교사-영아 상호작용 간의 관계에서 영아반 교사의 민감성의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Child Care Teacher's Sensitivity in the Relationship Between Teacher-Parent Partnership and Teacher-Infant Interactions)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of communication and cooperation between teachers and parents on infant care. Specifically, this study explored the direct effect of teacher-parent partnership on teacher-infant interactions and the indirect effect through teacher sensitivity. Methods: The participants of this study were 216 teachers in charge of infant classes at child care centers located in Gyeonggi-do. They responded to questionnaires on teacher-parent partnership, their sensitivity, and teacher-infant interactions. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results: First, teacher-parent partnership did not have a direct impact on teacher-infant interactions. Second, teacher-parent partnership indirectly influenced teacher-infant interactions through teacher sensitivity. In other words, a high level of teacher-parent partnership was associated with a high level of sensitivity, subsequently resulting in the provision of high-quality interactions for infants. Conclusion/Implications: This study confirmed the role of teacher sensitivity as a mechanism to explain how teacher-parent partnership is linked to teacher-child interactions. The results emphasize the importance of communication and cooperation between teachers and parents in enhancing teachers' sensitivity and, ultimately, providing high-quality child care to infants.

보육교사의 놀이성이 교사-영유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향: 교사효능감의 매개효과 (The Effects of Child Care Teachers' Playfulness on Teacher-Young Children Interaction: Mediating Effects of Teacher Efficacy)

  • 연구의 목적은 보육교사의 놀이성, 교사효능감, 교사-영유아 상호작용의 관련성을 살펴보고, 교사의 놀이성과 교수효능감, 교사-영유아 상호작용 간의 경로를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 어린이집 교사 293명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료의 변인 간의 구조 및 경로는 구조방정식모형을 통해 확인하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 첫째, 보육교사의 놀이성은 교사-영유아 상호작용 영향을 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 보육교사의 교사효능감은 교사-영유아 상호작용 영향을 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 보육교사의 놀이성은 교사효능감을 매개하여 교사-영유아 상호작용에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 교사-영유아 상호작용의 질적 수준을 높이기 위해 교사의 성격 특성인 놀이성과 내적신념인 교사효능감을 향상시키는 것이 중요함을 확인시켜 준다. 또한 보육기관의 교사-영유아 상호작용 증진을 위한 교사교육 프로그램 개발 시 교사의 놀이성와 교사효능감을 함양할 수 있는 체계적인 방법이나 내용을 포함할 필요가 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 영유아 교사에 대한 이해를 확장하고, 교사-영유아 상호작용의 질적 수준을 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 데에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
