The purpose of this study was to investigate preservice mathematics teachers' perceptions for mathematics digital textbook. To do this, we provided a questionnaire to 52 preservice mathematics teachers and analysed the questionnaires. The questionnaire was investigated using 5 point scale. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the preservice mathematics teachers' perception on effectiveness of mathematics digital textbook was positive. Second, the preservice mathematics teachers' perception on interaction of mathematics digital textbook was normal. Third, the preservice mathematics teachers' perception on interest of mathematics digital textbook was positive. Fourth, the preservice mathematics teachers' perception on students' health of mathematics digital textbook was normal. Fifth, the preservice mathematics teachers' perception on class-management of mathematics digital textbook was normal. Sixth, some preservice mathematics responded that mathematics digital textbook was efficient to teach a function or a geometry, others responded that paper textbook was more efficient to teach a mathematics.

According to the textbook utilization survey, university students buy 6.4 books and spend 94,000 won per semester. However, nearly half of books are left unused. Therefore many students buy used textbooks instead of buying new books at a fixed price. The existing used textbook trading platforms support basic functions, but don't support textbook recommendation function and reference book recommendation function. In this paper, we developed a used textbook trading platform BookCue that provides textbook recommendation function, reference book recommendation function, and consignment trading function reflecting the regional characteristics. It is expected that will contribute to reduce university students' burden that buying textbook by forming textbooks trading environment and preserve environment. In the near future our platform will need to expand to a platform that deals with a variety of goods, as well as used textbooks in the region.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to compare the common herbs for pain related disease between Yak-Jing and textbook of herbology. Methods We searched the formation of "Koho" and theory of Todo yoshimasu. We selected the common herbs that is used for pain related disease in Yak-Jing and textbook of herbology. These herbs were compared with each other. Result 1. Common Herbs for pain related disease are Ephedrae Herba (麻黃), Aconiti Lateralis Preparata Radix (附子), Euphorbiae Kansui Radix (甘遂), Euphorbiae pekinensis Radix (大戟) Daphnis Genkwa Flos (芫花), Atractylodis Rhizoma (朮), Paeonia Radix Rubra (芍藥), JujubaeFructus (大棗), Gypsum (石膏), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (知母), Cinnamomi Ramulus (桂枝), Poria (茯苓), Rhei Rhizoma (大黃), Natrii Sulfas (芒草), Pueraiae Radix (葛根). There are some difference between textbook of herbology and Yak-Jing about Aconiti Lateralis Preparata Radix (附子), Paeonia Radix Rubra (芍藥), Atractylodis Rhizoma (蒼朮), Pueraiae Radix (葛根). 2. Preparata Radix (附子) excrete water poisons (水毒) in Yak-Jing, but it has the effect of restore yang and tonify fire (回陽補火) in textbook of herbology. 3. Paeonia Radix Rubra (芍藥) is effective for pathological condition caused by the formation of the band and spasm (結實拘攣) in Yak-Jing, but it is to cure heat pattern in textbook of herbology. 4. Atractylodis Rhizoma (蒼朮) has the effect of water-draining (利水) in Yak-Jing, but it has the effect of dispersing (發散) in textbook of herbology. 5. Pueraiae Radix (葛根) is used in dyspnea and sweating (喘而汗出) in Yak-Jing, but it is to cure engender fluid (生津), skin disease, diarrhea in textbook of herbology. Conclusion There are some difference between textbook of herbology and Yak-Jing in the herb medicine that is used in pain related disease.

This paper analyzed 'Software Education' of the Practical Arts unit among the six textbooks developed under the 2015 revised curriculum, and provided implications for selection of textbooks, researching curriculum, and developing the next textbook. As a result of analyzing the prior study, it was found that the inquiry analysis was insufficient in the case of the elementary school 'Software Education' unit. the inquiry analysis was insufficient. On the contrary, in the middle and high school textbook research was sufficient. Therefore, we analyzed the contents of the textbook using the Romey analysis method, judging that our children who will live in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution need an exploratory textbook. As a result of analyzing textbooks, there was no ideal textbook with inquiring tendencies in all analysis factors, and different analysis factors with high inquiring tendencies were found in each textbook. In the entire textbook, the analysis element with the lowest inquiring tendency was the text, and the highest analysis element was the activity. The analysis factors with the greatest deviation in the evaluation index between textbooks are data and evaluation.

This study investigated teachers' decision-making and related factors in the elementary textbook adoption process. Our participants include 296 elementary teachers who took part in the mathematics textbook (grades 3 and 4) adoption committees in his/her schools. Our study used the decision-making model of Shavelson and Stern (1981) for analyzing teacher beliefs and attitudes concerning choices and priorities, judgments, evaluation methods, and key factors to reviewing and selecting a mathematics textbook. Our discussion includes teacher beliefs and intentions and the way they come into conflict with determinant factors that influence the decision-making of textbook adoption. Findings also reveal the unique nature of elementary school teaching as generalists in contrast with secondary teachers as specialists, playing a significant role in the adoption process. Lastly, the study discusses the entanglements of textbook reform and explains the discrepancy between textbook authorization/approval policies versus the plight of little change (and innovation) in mathematics textbooks.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to better understand nursing education in the early years of the Japanese colonial rule. Methods: We compared the 1918 Textbook on Nursing with the first Textbook on Nursing and to the original text, Grade A Textbook on Nursing, by the Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS) using the historical research method. The background of its publication and its use in nursing education were exploring, too. Results: After Korea's annexation by Japan, the nursing textbook by the JRCS was appointed as the standard textbook in nursing education by the Government-General in Korea (GGK). Missionary nurse got the permission for the nursing textbook by JRCS and the Textbook on Nursing was published in 1918 using Korean and Chinese characters in combination. This book, an adaptation of the original text, explained the responsibilities and roles of nurses to guide them in serving patients as well as assisting in treatment or directly performing emergency medical treatment when necessary, with a focus on the treatment of the war wounded. It would have been partially used in actual nursing education among the missionary community. Conclusion: Textbook on Nursing in 1918 was published not only for the nursing students of missionary nursing schools but also for other nursing trainees of diverse hospitals, nurses and missionary volunteers and to help them to acquire the licenses. It reflects the enforcement on nursing education by GGK and the reality and resistance in terms of the content of education of nursing in Korea during that period.

In this study it is aimed to find out the relationship between the effective factors on learning motivation of the digital textbook. To carry on such exploration the learning motivation theory of Keller has been taken as the theoretical background. This is an experimental research with the data collected from 310 students who took the digital textbook class in the computer-mediated environment. It is compared and verified whether the factors causing learning motivation of the ARCS model embedded in the offline class influence on learner's motivation and achievement. With the outcomes, it has been tried to find out some practical suggestions for the achievement of the digital textbook. The results of the data show that the learning motivation of the digital textbook is significantly influence on the learning achievement.

The purpose of the study is to prospect the application of knowledge awareness system in the use of the digital textbook which is one of the main educational political projects based on the exploration of the awareness theory for the computer-supported collaborative learning. To do this, first, knowledge awareness theory for computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) as a rationale for digital textbook which supports the collaborative learning was introduced. Second, three functionalities of knowledge awareness systems were extracted by analyzing the representative knowledge awareness tools of CSCL environment. Third, application prospects of knowledge awareness system toward the development and utilization of digital textbook were presented. The paper suggested the need of more researches such as the prototype development of digital textbook which applies the knowledge awareness system's functionalities and empirical researches which examine their effectiveness and efficiency.

The question style In high school enoronmental science textbook was examined in terms of the placement, frequency, and type of question, and then analyzed the kind of scientific Inquiry process elicited by the question In the topic of textbook using the Tektbook guestioning Strategy Assessment Instrument (TQSAI). The average number of question per topic was only 0.6. The number of all Question In the high school enororunental science textbook was very little : the number of non-experiential Question was 8 and that of experiential one was 3. The total number of sentence was 1,236 and the ratio of the number of Question to that of sentence was 0.9% . The frequency of non-experlential question was higher than that of experiential one. In action part of the textbook, there were more kinds of Question styles than In the matin part.

There has been much concern and worry about executing school curriculum from the year 2000 because the seventh curriculum is based on the complicated' differentiated education' concept. Now the new textbook has been developed according to the curriculum. This paper will reinforce the understanding of the curriculum and textbook in school math. In order to do this, this paper will present questions on three subjects to help school teachers and people related to math education to probe and discuss the benefits and problems of teaching math using the new textbook. The three subjects are based on the contents included in certain chapters of the math textbook. These are 1) understanding mathematics concepts using manipulatives or concrete objects, 2) doing math projects or problem solving activities 3) learning mathematics using calculators. furthermore, it is emphasized in this paper that math teachers must keep in mind that they should execute instruction in their own way using the 'textbook' not as a bible but as a guideline.
