This study was used a thermogravimetric analyzer to determine thermal characteristics, a hair analysis system to examine morphological changes of wefts-human hair, poly vinyl chloride(PVC) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET)-used in manufacturing wigs. According to a flammability test on human hair and synthetic wefts for wigs, the best results were observed in human hair. According to a thermal test, PET was the best in terms of thermal stability. Also good tensile strength was observed as well. In a scanning electron microscope observation, no human hair scale layer was found because of chemical treatment. In the PVC sample, homogeneous unevenness was observed. Due to a lack of human hair supply and increase in its price, recently, PET weft has emerged as a great substitution for human hair. Because it can be curled using an electric curling device and is more efficient than the conventional non-flammable material PVC in terms of thermal resistance, it will become the next-generation weft for wigs.

Differentiation strategies have been suggested as the critical sources of competitive advantage in B2C industry where customers can switch internet shopping mall with one click with virtually no transaction cost. Indeed, competition on low pricing cannot be a viable strategy in B2C industry. Moreover, cultivating customer loyalty to attain profitability is still a challenging task for most internet shopping mall. In this study, we provide empirical analysis results on key managerial variables that indicate the difference between the product categories in terms of customer perception on relative value importance. We first identified comprehensive managerial variables and organized them in terms of customer decision stage. Next, with reference to extant literatures on product characteristics based e-commerce strategy, hypotheses are developed to formalize the customer value differences on the key managerial variables. Empirical testing results indicated that there are significant differences on customer perceived value of the key managerial variables between the product groups. The findings provide useful insight for further study on e-commerce differentiation strategy.

Manufacturing capability at the micro or nano scale production field is requested strongly in view of parts and product miniaturization. Miniaturized parts and products will introduce lots of benefits in terms of high precision functionality and low energy consumption. This paper presents the results of micro milling machine tool development for micro machining process. Finite element analysis has been performed to know the relationship between design dimensional variables and structural stiffness in terms of static, dynamic, thermal aspects. Performance evaluation through machining has been tested and discussed for achievable machining characteristics.

This work uses tensor calculus to derive a complete set of three-dimensional field equations well-suited for determining the behavior of thick shells of revolution having arbitrary curvature and variable thickness. The material is assumed to be homogeneous, isotropic and linearly elastic. The equations are expressed in terms of coordinates tangent and normal to the shell middle surface. The relationships are combined to yield equations of motion in terms of orthogonal displacement components taken in the meridional, normal and circumferential directions. Strain energy and kinetic energy functionals are also presented. The equations of motion and energy functionals may be used to determine the static or dynamic displacements and stresses in shells of revolution, including free and forced vibration and wave propagation.

The purpose of this study is to analyze Phenomenon of the residential movement and important factors in the city of Seoul. First, The patterns of residential location during 1975-1994 in terms of macro aspects are to be investigated. Second, Residential patterns among households based on the literature survey data in terms of micro aspects are to be indentified. Methodology applied to the study is regression analysis using 1975-1994statistical data and content analysis based on the literature survey. The results of this study are as follows : 1) The factors of residential movement in the city of Seoul are explained by the changes of the economic structure, residential environment, individual characteristics, and housing policy. That is. the development of transportation systems, the number of homeownership scheme holders, crime rates, increase of residential areas effect on the decrease of the population in the city center of Seoul 2) According to the income groups and resident characteristics, Residential location patterns are different in residential location choice and the scope of spatial migration.

In the latter half of the 20th century, the rapid change into the information society changes the concept of workplace. Especially the new types of office space are appearing to accept interaction and flexibility, which are the representative features of the information society. Therefore, this study is to suggest the appropriate office environment in the information society shifting from the territorial to the virtual, after analyzing the characteristics of space and design method for the Chiat/Day advertising agency in New York (1995) that was designed by Gaetano Pesce. As a result, in terms of the constitution and the arrangement of space, the non-territorial and the virtual features appear, and in terms of the analysis of design elements, in which various semantic connotations are used, horizontal, pluralistic, and fluid features appear. This kind of analysis would be helpful in finding new alternatives for the rapidly changing office environment.

This paper deals with the comparison and analysis for open-circuit field of PM(permanent magnet) machines with Halbach and circumferential magnetized rotor. The governing equation is derived in terms of magnetic vector potential and 2-d polar coordinate. And then, analytical results has been verified by comparison with those obtained from FE(finite element) method. On the basis of 2-d analytical results, this paper confirms that PM machines with circumferential magnetized rotor is superior to it with Halbach magnetized rotor in terms of magnitude and sinusoidal wave-forms of flux density due to PM and required magnet volume.

Result : The best System is that reflecting 'Korean Expression' of term of oriental medicine and part of term of western medicine and general.

The degree of air pollution is usually presented in terms of concentration. But, in evaluating the environmental impacts or air pollution control policies, the concentration values need to be interpreted in terms of damage effects on property and human health. The damage effect varies with the types of pollution, subjects and land use pattern of an affected area. Therefore, this study is aimed at developing a method of analyzing effects of various types of air pollutions on surrounding environmental setting with the EIMS (Environmental Information Management System) developed for land suitability analysis. Using the method formulated in this study, the long- term effects of such pollutants as $SO_2$ and HF on types of vegetation and residents, and potential, short-term effects of HCl leak accidents from manufacturing facilities in Ulsan and Onsan Industrial complex are analyzed. The presentation of the damage effects of air pollution rather than the concentration of pollutants will be useful for the preparation of environmental impact statements, the formulation of environmental policies, and the development of land use plans in heavily industrialized areas.

Recently, several researches have been performed on the prediction of vertical vibration on structures by using an analytical method. However, these studies have been focused on mainly the vibration analysis through analytical modeling of structures. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of vertical vibration transfer in terms of the directions of transfer(upward transfer and downward transfer) on the shear wall building structures due to heel-drop impact forces. In order to examine the characteristics of vertical vibration transfer, the mode analysis and the impact experiment were conducted several times on two shear wall building structures. The results of this study suggest that the characteristics of vertical vibration transfer are similar in terms of the directions of transfer.
