광역철도 노선의 급행화 가능성에 대한 기술적 검토 (Technical Study on Possibility of an Express Service Wide Area Railway)

  • 기존 수도권 광역철도는 운행시간이 많이 걸리는 완행 위주의 운행을 하기 때문에 통행시간 측면에서 타 교통수단과의 경쟁력이 저하되고 있는 실정이고, 도로교통을 철도로 유인하는데 한계가 있기 때문에 급행열차 운행을 확대 운영해야 한다는 사회적 요구가 지속되고 있다. 특히 수도권 북부와 수도권 남서부 방면은 대도시 생활권 확대로 광역교통수요 증대에 따른 교통 혼잡 가중 및 통행시간 증가 등 사회적 비용이 과다 발생되고 있어 서울도심을 연결하는 급행 기능의 대중교통망체계가 필요하다. 국내에서 가장 효율적으로 급행화를 운행하는 노선은 서울지하철 9호선이며, 김포공항에서 고속터미널까지 27분 소요됨으로써 완행 44분 대비 약 40% 시간 단축 효과가 있고 혼잡도가 최대 240%에 달할 만큼 이용객의 선호도가 상당히 높다. 본 연구의 기술적 결과들은 광역철도의 급행화 방안의 수행을 위해 기여할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

For instance, millimetre-wave LANs, broadband remote association techniques, and 5G/6G organizations are instances of group of people yet to come frameworks that request greater security, lower idleness, and dependable principles and correspondence limit. One of the critical parts of 5G and 6G innovation is believed to be successful blockage the board. With further developed help quality, it empowers administrator to run many systems administration recreations on a solitary association. To guarantee load adjusting, forestall network cut disappointment, and give substitute cuts in case of blockage or cut frustration, a modern pursuing choices framework to deal with showing up network information is require. Our goal is to balance the strain on BSs while optimizing the value of the information that is transferred from satellites to BSs. Nevertheless, due to their irregular flight characteristic, some satellites frequently cannot establish a connection with Base Stations (BSs), which further complicates the joint satellite-BS connection and channel allocation. SF redistribution techniques based on Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) have been devised, taking into account the randomness of the data received by the terminal. In order to predict the best capacity improvements in the wireless instruments of 5G and 6G IoT networks, a hybrid algorithm for deep learning is being used in this study. To control the level of congestion within a 5G/6G network, the suggested approach is put into effect to a training set. With 0.933 accuracy and 0.067 miss rate, the suggested method produced encouraging results.

  • 컨테이너 터미널에서느 매일 24시간, 365일 운영하는 데에 있어서 다양한 의사결정을 필요로 하며, 이 모든 의사결정들은 상호 관계를 가지게 된다. 이러한 의사결정의 궁극적인 목표는 선박 작업시간, 작업 처리를 위해 사용되는 자원들, 터미널 내부 도로의 혼잡도 등을 최소화하는 것이다. 또한 필요한 저장 공간을 효율적으로 이용하는 것이다. 따라서 컨테이너 터미널의 운용 효율을 더 한층 강화하기 위해서는 이러한 의사결정의 범위와 복잡성이 더해지게 되어 의사결정 도구의 필요성이 강조될 수 밖에 없다. 이 논문은 이러한 목적을 위해 의사결정시스템을 위한 평가요소들을 도출하고, 의사결정시스템 설계에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 평가요소, 즉 야드장치장 배경, RTGC 배정, QC당 YT 배정의 최적화 전략을 제안한다. 그리고 G2 언어를 상요한 시뮬레이션에 의해 의사결정시스템 설계의 효율성을 선박작업시간 비교를 통하여 평가한다.

TCP Accelerator for DVB-RCS SATCOM Dynamic Bandwidth Environment with HAIPE

  • A high assurance IP encryption (HAIPE) compliant protocol accelerator is proposed for military networks consisting of red (or classified) networks and black (or unclassified) networks. The boundary between red and black sides is assumed to be protected via a HAIPE device. However, the IP layer encryption introduces challenges for bandwidth on demand satellite communication. The problems experienced by transmission control protocol (TCP) over satellites are well understood: While standard modems (on the black side) employ TCP performance enhancing proxy (PEP) which has been shown to work well, the HAIPE encryption of TCP headers renders the onboard modem's PEP ineffective. This is attributed to the fact that under the bandwidth-on-demand environment, PEP must use traditional TCP mechanisms such as slow start to probe for the available bandwidth of the link (which eliminates the usefulness of the PEP). Most implementations recommend disabling the PEP when a HAIPE device is used. In this paper, we propose a novel solution, namely broadband HAIPE-embeddable satellite communications terminal (BHeST), which utilizes dynamic network performance enhancement algorithms for high latency bandwidth-on-demand satellite links protected by HAIPE. By moving the PEP into the red network and exploiting the explicit congestion notification bypass mechanism allowed by the latest HAIPE standard, we have been able to regain PEP's desired network enhancement that was lost due to HAIPE encryption (even though the idea of deploying PEP at the modem side is not new). Our BHeST solution employs direct video broadcast-return channel service (DVB-RCS), an open standard as a means of providing bandwidth-on-demand satellite links. Another issue we address is the estimation of current satellite bandwidth allocated to a remote terminal which is not available in DVBRCS. Simulation results show that the improvement of our solution over FIX PEP is significant and could reach up to 100%. The improvement over the original TCP is even more (up to 500% for certain configurations).

  • Recently, the number of consumers using digital online distribution platforms is increasing. This caused the rapid growth of the e-commerce market and increased delivery volume in urban areas. The logistics system, designed ar006Fund the city center to handle the delivery volume, operates a delivery system from the outskirts of the city to the urban area using cargo trucks. This maintains an ecosystem of high-cost and inefficient structures that increase social costs such as road traffic congestion and environmental problems. To solve this problem, research is being conducted worldwide to establish a high-efficiency urban joint logistics system using urban railway facilities and underground space infrastructure existing in existing cities. The joint logistics system begins with linking unmanned delivery automation services that link terminal delivery such as cargo classification and stacking, infrastructure construction that performs cargo transfer function by separating from passengers such as using cargo platform. To this end, it is necessary to apply the device to the vertical and horizontal transportation machine supporting the vertical transfer in the flat space of the joint logistics terminal, which is the base technology for transporting cargo using the transfer robot to the destination designated as a freight-only urban railway vehicle. Therefore, this paper aims to derive holistic viewpoints needs for design requirements for vertical and vertical transportation machines and freight transportation standard containers, which are underground railway logistics transport devices to be constructed by urban logistics ecosystem changes.

부산 항만물동량이 도시교통에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 컨테이너 화물 운송을 중심으로 - (On the Effect of Sea Borne Cargo Movement to Urban Transportation in the Pusan Port -Container Transport Oriented-)

  • The Port of Pusan, the largest port in Korea, handled 23% of total sea borne cargo movement, 14% of imported cargo, 58% of exported cargo and 95% of container cargo in 1989. Also the port of Pusan has been played a key role in handing container cargo throughout the last 10 years. The paper is aimed to survey the effect of sea borne cargo movement to urban transportation, that is, to find traffic volume arising by general/bulk cargoes through the port and to estimate vehicle rated of container tractor tailer on the roads between terminal including conventional piers and ODCY, and finally the following results are obtained. (1) AADV of truck to transport general/bulk cargoes are 6,322 units in 1989,and routes penetrate into the center of city and pass through the most of urban arterials. (2) In the container transport, if HVEF is adopted to 3 of tractor trailer, AVR in each transport freeway 13.7%. (3) IF HVEF is adopted to 6 of tractor trailer. AVR are as follows: BooDoo-Ro 44.1%, WooAm-Ro 39.3%, SooYoung-Ro 17.8%, Urban freeway 20.3%. Based upon these results, the following suggestions were drawn : o ODCY scattered around the city should be unified in a few groups to raise port productivity. o Rail service for inland container transportation should be escalated to relieve urban traffic congestion. o Coastal feeder service between terminal and hinterland should be studied to restrict the penetration of container tractor trailer into the central parts in the urban areas. o Exclusive freeway system for effective container transportation should be implemented to reduce urban traffic delay.

Protective Effect of Water Extract of Fraxinus Rhynchophylla Leaves on Acetaminophen-induced Nephrotoxicity in Mice and Its Phenolic Compounds

  • The protective effect of the water extract of Fraxinus rhynchophylla leaves (FLE) was determined using an animal model of acetaminophen (AAP)-induced nephrotoxicity. The BALB/c male mice used in this study were divided into 3 groups; the normal, AAP-administered, and FLE-pretreated AAP groups. A single dose of AAP induced necrosis of renal tubules and congestion along with edema to a remarkable degree as observed by hematoxylin and eosin stain, and also increased the numbers of terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated deoxyuridine triphosphate nick end labeling (TUNEL)-positive renal tubular epithelial cells. Blood urea nitrogen and plasma creatinine levels were determined to be significantly higher in the AAP group than in the normal group. However, FLE pretreatment resulted in an attenuation of renal tubule necrosis. Regeneration and dilatation of renal tubules were noted, and the numbers of TUNEL-positive cells were reduced in the FLE-pretreated groups. In an effort to detect the bioactive compounds exerting protective effects in FLE, the analysis of phenolic compounds via gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) were performed, and identified esculetin and esculin. The present study indicates that these compounds may exert a protective effect against AAP-induced nephrotoxicity.

인천항의 물류시스템에 관한 연구 (On the Analysis of Physical Distribution System in Inchon Port)

  • Being situated at the key point of northeast asia, the port of Inchon as an entrance to the captial city, Seoul is expected to play in marine transportation in Korean Pennisular on the verge of its reunification. In this thesis, inner-lock physical disstribution system of the port was analyzed, which treats more than 82% of total incoming and outgoing cargoes. The overall findings are as follows; 1. In thet viewpoint of physical distribution system of the port, it takes disadvantages of accessing to inner lock berth due to such natural restrictions as tides, passing the lock and so on. And insufficient port facilities as a whole, causes delay in quay-handling, transfer and storage, also facing with serious congestion in inland transport on the road. 2. It was revealed that the port facilities are insufficient yet in spite of its improved productivity by means of raising the effectiveness of port operation and of installing advanced cargo handling facilities. 3. In order to enhance the effectiveness of inner port physical distribution system , the improvement of lock facilities, expansionof port facilities and more effective terminal operating system are crucial. 4. To ensure the measures to solve the above problem, existent outer-lock ports such as Inchon Sourthern-port and Northern-port are necessary to be redeveloped more positively , otherwise a new port at outskirt of the city should be developed to ensure free connection to inland transportation.

최적화 기법을 활용한 UAM 버티포트 수용량 산정방법 연구 (A Study on the UAM Vertiport Capacity Calculation MethodUsing Optimization Technique)

  • Due to extreme urbanization, ground transportation in the city center is saturated, and problems such as the lack of expansion infrastructure and traffic congestion increase social costs. To solve this problem, a 3D mobility platform, Urban Air Mobility (UAM), has emerged as a new alternative. A vertiport is a physical space that conducts a similar role to an airport terminal. Vertiport consists of take-off and landing facilities (TLOF, Touchdown and Lift-Off area), space for boarding and disembarking from UAM aircraft (gates), taxiways, and passenger terminals. The type of vertiport (structure, number of facilities) and concept of operations are key variables that determine the number of UAM aircraft that can be accommodated per hour. In this study, a capacity calculation method was presented using an optimization technique (Deterministic Integer Linear Programming). The absolute capacity of the vertiport was calculated using an optimization technique, and a sensitivity analysis was also performed.

울릉공항 결항률 증가조건에 따른 개선방안 연구 (A Study on Improvement Measures for Increasing Cancellation Rates at Ulleung Airport)

  • Improving transportation accessibility on islands is closely related to regional development. Currently, the government is constructing Ulleung Airport as part of the 6th Airport Mid- to Long-term Development Plan. Similar to the case of Jeju Airport in 2016, severe congestion occurs at passenger terminals upon flight resumption after cancellations at airports on islands. Therefore, considering the cancellation rate at island airports is important. This study investigates the conditions leading to increased cancellation rates at Ulleung Airport, with the research results predicting frequent cancellations during the winter season. The research methodology involved examining airport construction plans, aircraft performance, airport de-icing capabilities, and also included consideration of weather conditions. Ulleung Island is a representative snowfall area, and sufficient snow removal capacity must be secured. However, the current plan's snow removal capacity is insufficient, leading to anticipated high cancellation rates. Therefore, measures to mitigate passenger inconvenience caused by increased cancellations and methods to reduce the cancellation rate are explored. With Ulleung Airport scheduled to open in 2027, there is ample time to implement supplementary measures to reduce the cancellation rate and minimize passenger inconvenience.
