A thermal postbuckling analysis is presented for a moderately thick rectangular plate subjected to uniform or nonuniform tent-like temperature loading and resting on an elastic foundation. The plate is assumed to be simply supported on its two opposite edges and the two side edges remain free. The initial geometrical imperfection of the plate is taken into account. The formulation are based on the Reissner-Mindlin plate theory considering the first order shear deformation effect, and including plate-foundation interaction and thermal effects. The analysis uses a mixed Galerkin-perturbation technique to determine the thermal buckling loads and postbuckling equilibrium paths. Numerical examples are presented that relate to the performances of perfect and imperfect, moderately thick plates resting on Pasternak-type or softening nonlinear elastic foundations from which results for Winker elastic foundations follow as a limiting case. Typical results are presented in dimensionless graphical form.

In order to get taste sensation 116 male and 82 female subjects were tested by dropping solution on tongue. Table I shows the number of subjects in each selected age group. none of the subjects complained gastrointestinal discomforts and drinking and smoking habits were moderate (Less than 5 cigarettes a day). Taste sensation was elicited by applying standard tap water solutions of sucrose(sweet), , sodium chloride(salty), citric acid (sour) and quinine (bitter) on tongue. The dour concentrations of each solution are given in Table 2. The test were done about 1 hour after meal . A drop of approximately 0.1 ml of the lowest concentration of solution was placed on tongue. The number of subjects who recognized the taste of concentrations were recorded in each age group. The obtained results were as follows ; 1. The sweet taste sensation of each age group was more sensitive in female than in male. 2. Decreased level of sensitivity to sweet. salty, sour and bitter taste was detected in the 40 year age group. 3. Females tent to be more sensitive to taste than males generally.

Errors in inertial navigation system(INS) can be divided into two major groups which are system related errors and modeling errors due to approximation and linearization. Measurement noise, calibration, and alignment errors make up the first group, whereas the uncertainties in the gravity vector fall in the second category and are important error source for high quality INS, especially during high altitude and and/or long time missions, when the gravity errors tent to build up. The quality of a medium to high accuracy INS depends on the knowledge of the local gravity field. The purpose of this study is to set up the concept and the structure of 'the image' theoretically. The study is carried out by the literature research. The image is constituted of several concepts which are as followed: The concept of definition: perception cognition/impression. The concept of target: objective/per-son The concept of content: internal/exter-nal The concept of level :lower/upper Especially levels of image are divided into 3 different levels which are 'simple level' 'complex level 1' 'com-plex level 2' The concept of image is classified into the horizontal and the vertical structure. There are many differences in narrative delivery between common movies and Virtual Reality(VR) films due to their differences in the appreciation structure. In VR films, scene changes by cuts have hindered the immersion of the audience instead of promoting narrative delivery. There are a range of experiments on narratives and immersion to solve this issue in VR films. Floating Tent applies hand gestures and immersive effects found in game elements and does not disturb narrative delivery by setting proper spaces and employing a direction technique to enable the melting of narratives into the characteristics of the spaces. There are time limits to offsound and mission performance, and devices fit for apocalyptic spatial expressions are made through a program. One of measures for the increasingly growing interactive storytelling in VR films is effective immersion. In narrative delivery, it is important to consider spatial setting and immersion to enable active intervention into events for immersion rather than passive audience only supposed to watch characters' acting.

The present experiments have been performed for obtaining the melting heat transfer characteristics of micro-encapsulated solid-liquid phase-change material and water mixture slurry flow in a circular tube heated with constant wall heat flux. The phase change material having a low melting point was selected for a domestic cooling system in the present study. The governing parameters were found to be latent heat material concentration, heat flux, and the slurry velocity. The experimental results revealed that the increase of tube wall temperature of latent microcapsule slurry was lower than that of water caused by the heat absorption of fusion.

Diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP) which has high physical flexibility, various colors, low viscosity, high stability is used as coating material in ballon, vinyl ink, tent, textile, home and cars interior design and electric cable. In rodents, DIDP is suspected to be a peroxisome proliferator, a nongenotoxic carcinogen. In this study, we performed the carcinogenicity test of DIDP. (omitted)

The Purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Parenting stress and verbal abuse of elementary and middle school students' mothers. The subject were 659 adolescences and their mothers. Data was analyzed by t-test. ANOVA, correlation. In the study, generally mother's parenting stress level and mother's verbal abuse level tent to be below the mean scores. Parenting stress related to learning expectation is significant difference to adolescent's sex/grade. but verbal abuse is not significant difference to the sex/grade. And Parenting stress related to temperament and learning expectation is significant difference to mother's education level And as for correlating Parenting stress to verbal abuse. the significance appeared in these factors.

In this paper, we propose a new scheme of motion tracking based on fuzzy inference (FI)and wavelet transform (WT) from image sequences. First, we present a WT to segment a feature extraction of dynamic image . The coefficient matrix for 2-level DWT tent to be clustered around the location of important features in the images, such as edge discontinuities, peaks, and corners. But these features are time varying owing to the environment conditions. Second, to reduce the spatio-temporal error, We develop a fuzzy inference algorithm. Some experiments are peformed to testify the validity and applicability of the proposed system. As a result, proposed method is relatively simple compared with the traditional space domain method. It is also well suited for motion tracking under the conditions of variation of illumination.

This paper presents a new method on controller design of brushless dc motors. In such drives the current ripples are generated by motor inductance in stator windings and the back EMF. To suppress the current ripples the current controller is generally used. To minimize the size and the cost of the drives it is desirable to control motors without the current controller and the current sensing circuits. To estimate the motor CUlTent it is modeled by a neural network that is contigured as an output-error dynamic system. The identified model is essentially a one step ahead prediction structure in which past inputs and outputs are used to calculate the current output. Using the model, a state feedback controller to compensate the effects of disturbance has been designed. The controller is implemented by a 16-bit microprocessor and the effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified through experiments.
