  • InSb temperature dependent hall effect of multilayerd structures were investigated. According to variation of magnetic field measured hall coefficient, Hall mobility, carrier density and hall voltage. For the measurement of electrical properties of hall device, evaperated InSb thin film fabricated with series and parallel multilayers. We found that the XRD analysis of InSb thin film showed good properties at 200$^{\circ}C$, 60 minutes. Resistance of ohmic contact increased linearly due to increasing current. Some of device fabrication technique and analysis of Hall effect were discussed.

  • This research deals with the nonlocal temperature-dependent dynamic buckling analysis of embedded sandwich micro plates reinforced by functionally graded carbon nanotubes (FG-CNTs). The material properties of structure are assumed viscoelastic based on Kelvin-Voigt model. The effective material properties of structure are considered based on mixture rule. The elastic medium is simulated by orthotropic visco-Pasternak medium. The motion equations are derived applying Sinusoidal shear deformation theory (SSDT) in which the size effects are considered using Eringen's nonlocal theory. The differential quadrature (DQ) method in conjunction with the Bolotin's methods is applied for calculating resonance frequency and dynamic instability region (DIR) of structure. The effects of different parameters such as volume percent of CNTs, distribution type of CNTs, temperature, nonlocal parameter and structural damping on the dynamic instability of visco-system are shown. The results are compared with other published works in the literature. Results indicate that the CNTs have an important role in dynamic stability of structure and FGX distribution type is the better choice.

  • The objective of this study Is to deposited the preparation of SrTiO$_3$3 dielectric thin films on Ag/barrier-mater/Si(N-type 100) bottom electrode using a conventional rf-magnetron sputtering technique with a ceramic target under various conditions. It is demonstrated that the leakage current of films are strongly dependent on the atmosphere during deposition and the substrate temperature. The resistivity properties of films deposited on silicon substrates were very high resistivity. Capacitance of the films properties were the highest value(1000pF) and dependent on substrate temperature.

  • This paper proposes an analytical solution method for free vibration of curved functionally graded (FG) nonlocal beam supposed to different thermal loadings, by considering porosity distribution via nonlocal elasticity theory for the first time. Material properties of curved FG beam are assumed to be temperature-dependent. Thermo-mechanical properties of porous FG curved beam are supposed to vary through the thickness direction of beam and are assumed to be temperature-dependent. Since variation of pores along the thickness direction influences the mechanical and physical properties, porosity play a key role in the mechanical response of curved FG structures. The rule of power-law is modified to consider influence of porosity according to even distribution. The governing equations of curved FG porous nanobeam under temperature field are derived via the energy method based on Timoshenko beam theory. An analytical Navier solution procedure is used to achieve the natural frequencies of porous FG curved nanobeam supposed to thermal loadings with simply supported boundary condition. The results for simpler states are confirmed with known data in the literature. The effects of various parameters such as nonlocality, porosity volume fractions, type of temperature rising, gradient index, opening angle and aspect ratio of curved FG porous nanobeam on the natural frequency are successfully discussed. It is concluded that these parameters play key roles on the dynamic behavior of porous FG curved nanobeam. Presented numerical results can serve as benchmarks for future analyses of curve FG nanobeam with porosity phases.

  • This paper presents the temperature-dependent hysteresis identification of an electro-rheological (ER) fluid under various operating temperatures using the Preisach model. As a first step, polymethylaniline (PMA) particles are prepared and mixed with silicone oil to make an ER fluid. A couette type electroviscometer is then employed to obtain the field-dependent shear stress. In order to show the suitability of the Preisach model to predict a physical hysteresis phenomenon of the ER fluid, two significant properties; the minor loop property and the wiping-out property are experimentally examined under three dominant temperature conditions. Subsequently, the Preisach model fur the PMA-based ER fluid is identified using experimental first order descending (FOD) curves. The effectiveness of the identified hysteresis model is verified in the time domain by comparing the predicted field-dependent shear stress with the measured one under the both specified and unspecified temperatures. In addition, the hysteresis model proposed in this work is compared to Bingham model.

  • As a type of accident-tolerant fuel, fully ceramic microencapsulated (FCM) fuel was proposed after the Fukushima accident in Japan. The FCM fuel consists of tristructural isotropic particles randomly dispersed in a silicon carbide (SiC) matrix. For a fuel element with such high heterogeneity, we have proposed a two-temperature homogenized model using the particle transport Monte Carlo method for the heat conduction problem. This model distinguishes between fuel-kernel and SiC matrix temperatures. Moreover, the obtained temperature profiles are more realistic than those of other models. In Part I of the paper, homogenized parameters for the FCM fuel in which tristructural isotropic particles are randomly dispersed in the fine lattice stochastic structure are obtained by (1) matching steady-state analytic solutions of the model with the results of particle transport Monte Carlo method for heat conduction problems, and (2) preserving total enthalpies in fuel kernels and SiC matrix. The homogenized parameters have two desirable properties: (1) they are insensitive to boundary conditions such as coolant bulk temperatures and thickness of cladding, and (2) they are independent of operating power density. By performing the Monte Carlo calculations with the temperature-dependent thermal properties of the constituent materials of the FCM fuel, temperature-dependent homogenized parameters are obtained.

  • This paper presents the material properties of LPCVD silicon films formed using Si2H6 gas at various deposition temperatures. To study the structural properties depending on the deposition temperature, XRD, EBD and TEM analyses were used. The maximum grain size in this experiment was obtained at the deposition temperature of 485ø C. It is discussed that LPCVD films formed below the deposition temperature of 485ø C are promising for low temperature TFT applications. The enhancement of the film characteristics results from the reduction of grain boundary density. We also observed that the film properties of Si2H6 at 600ø C was quite different from those of Si H4 at 600ø C. It has shown that the grain structure from a TEM analysis was elliptical and not dependent on the deposition temperature.

  • The effect of temperature on natural frequency and damping is investigated in two different composite materials, Kevlar 29 fiber woven and polyethylene cloth, used especially to design ballistic armor. A damping monitoring method is used experimentally to measure the frequency response curve and it is also modeled numerically using a finite element program. The natural frequencies of a material, or a system, are a function of its elastic properties, dimensions and mass. This concept is used to calculate theoretical vibration modes of the composites. The damping properties in terms of the damping factor are determined by the half-power bandwidth technique. Numerically analyzed and experimentally measured time response curves are compared. It is seen that polymer matrix composites have temperature dependent mechanical properties. This relationship is functional and they have different effects against temperature.

  • In this study we have investigated physical and electrical properties of high temperature oxide (HTO) thin film using dichlorosilane (DCS) gas. This film had low etch rate and excellent step coverage, and its characteristics of Si-O bond were similar to those of thermal oxide. I-V curves also showed similar electrical properties to those of thermally grown oxide (SiO2) while time dependent dielectric breakdown (TDDB) results revealed 1/4 value of thermal oxide. However, defect density was measured to be much lower value than that of thermal oxide.
