Recently, serious cracking problems have been reported in this country while the process of actual massive concrete construction. he hydration heat arising from the chemical reaction of cement with water causes temperature differentials in between inside and outside of a structural member, and these temperature differentials induce thermal stresses. In this paper, we described on the practical application and quality control of the mass concrete mixed with fly-ash. This project is investigating adiabatic temperature rise test of concrete, mock-up test in the laboratory, ad B/P before placing the mass concrete in site. As a result, we can be prevent temperature cracking from the cement hydration heat of mass concrete and also can be showed up secure quality control flow chart of mass concrete.
This study fabricated a low-voltage 10 circuit distribution board based on the KEMC (Korea Electrical Manufacturers Cooperative) 2102-610 standard and performed a characteristics assessment of the developed 10 circuit distribution board to secure product stability. The developed 10 circuit distribution board is designed to have the characteristics of insulation materials, as well as resistance to corrosion ultraviolet radiation and mechanical impact. The developed distribution board is fabricated to have an appropriate protection class of enclosure, electric shock prevention and protection circuits, switchgear and its components, internal electrical circuits and connectors, external conduct terminal, insulation characteristics, temperature rise test, heat resistance, etc. The developed 10 circuit distribution board consists of a single phase circuit and 3-phase circuits. It is possible to measure in real time the leakage current generated from the load distribution line by installing a sensor module at the load side of each of the branched switchgears. In addition, it is possible to increase a circuit according to the use and purpose of the load and to also manage and check the load in real time. Temperature rise tests were performed on the developed 10 circuit distribution board at 18 places including the inlet connection, main circuit and distribution circuit bus bars and bus bar supports, etc. The highest temperature of $65.3^{\circ}C$ was measured at the R-Phase of the connection of the MCCB power supply for the branch circuit bus bar and a temperature rise of $61.6^{\circ}C$ was measured at the T-Phase of the load side. When applying thermal stress to an MCCB for 6 hours at $180^{\circ}C$ using a heat resistant experimental device, it was found that the actuator lever was transformed and moved in the tripped state.
A high-frequency therapy device with improved output by modifying a high-frequency stimulator was fabricated. The details of the design include generating part design, high-frequency transformer design, large output FET installation, DC voltage input part design and gate input driver design. Based on the real test using the pork meat, the temperature distributions according to the current electric transfer method, penetration depth, electrode diameter size were measured. In the CET method, the penetration depth was 0.5 cm and in the RET method, the penetration depth was 20 cm or more. In addition, it was confirmed that the temperature rise according to the penetration depth in the RET system was substantially constant, and the temperature rise was remarkable as the electrode diameter was small. As a result, it has been confirmed that the high frequency therapy device is highly affected by various conditions of the electrode.

It is necessary to develop a new technology for effectively controlling thermal crack caused hydration heat according to the increasing construction of large size massive concrete structures such as mat foundation of high-rise building. Therefore, to develop a new technology for reducing hydration heat of large size massive concrete in this study, it was investigated hydration heat generation properties of binder using latent heat materials. As a test result, it was confirmed that latent heat materials were advanced on the reduction of hydration heat and control of thermal crack. It is expected to be applied as the excellent technology on the management of hydration heat and thermal crack in large size massive concrete structures.
Concrete mechanical properties change constantly with age, temperature, humidity and the other environmental factors. This research studies the effects of temperature and age on the development of concrete elastic modulus by a series of prism specimens. Elastic modulus test was conducted at various temperatures and ages in the laboratory to examine the effects of temperature and age on it. The experimental results reveal that the concrete elastic modulus decreases with the rise of temperature but increases with age. Then, a temperature coefficient K is proposed to describe the effects of temperature and validated by existing studies. Finally, on the basis of K, analytical models are proposed to determine the elastic modulus of concrete at a given temperature and age. The proposed models can offer designers an approach to obtain more accurate properties of concrete structures through the elastic modulus modification based on actual age and temperature, rather than using a value merely based on laboratory testing.
Numerical analysis of aerodynamic heating for KPSAM is performed using aerodynamic heating model suitable to KPSAM, which has complex flow field resulting from the spike attached to the dome, such as large separation area and the strong shock/boundary layer interaction region around reattachment point on the dome. The aerodynamic heating model is validated and modified through the comparison between the flight test measurement and the thermal analysis results. TFD temperature sensors are installed on the dome to measure surface temperature during the flight. Computation results, obtained from the heat transfer analysis on the sensors, agree well with flight test data. The aerodynamic heating model provides heat transfer rate into surface as a boundary condition of unsteady 1D/axisymmetric thermal analysis on the missile structure. The axisymmetric thermal analysis using FLUENT is more versatile than the 1D analysis and can be applied to the heating problem related with complex structures and multi-dimensional heat transfer problems such as prediction of temperature rise at contact surface of different materials.
Maximum allowable PV values of oilless composite bearing materials (70% epoxy-resin/30% Graphite) were measured and compared at various types of test rigs that have different contact geometry and the operating conditions. Test results showed that material failure was mainly characterized by the sharp increase in both coefficient of friction and surface temperature, and different PV values were measured under different Contact geometry. The discrepancy in measurement of PV values was analyzed in the light of theoretical frictional heating analysis. Results show that surface temperature rise depends on its contact geometry, and PV values could be overestimated in the testing conditions of high sliding velocity. Test data of different contact geometry were normalized by using a normalized contact pressure and sliding velocity; it showed a good correlation. This work suggests that normalized PV values could be more effective in evaluating bearing materials than conventional PV values for a design parameter of journal bearings.

The mold transformers have been widely used in underground substations in large building and have some advantages in comparison to oil-transformer, that is low fire risk, excellent environmental compatibility, compact size and high reliability. In addition, the application of mold transformer for outdoor is possible due to development of epoxy resin. The mold transformer generally has cooling duct between low voltage coil and high voltage coil. A mold transformer made by one body molding method has been developed for small size and ow loss, but it needs some cooling method because heat radiation between each winding is difficult. The life of transformer is significantly dependent on the thermal behavior in windings. Many transformer designers have calculated temperature distribution and hot spot point by finite element method(FEM) to analyze winding temperature rise. In this paper, The thermal analysis of pole mount mold transformer with one body molding by duct condition is investigated and the test result of temperature rise is compared with simulation data.

The built-in spindle motor for high-speed machine tools is designed and developed by Corporate R&D Institute of DAEWOO Heavy Industries LTD. The heat analysis program for the built-in spindle motor is developed by using lumped method. For the purpose of verification of the program comparison analyses between experiments and calculations are performed on the three motors ; DHI prototype of built-in spindle motor built-in spindle motor sample A and sample B As results calculated temperature distributions are in good agreement with the test results within the average error of 10% Calculated results of all the built-in spindle motors show that maximum temperature rise at high speed remains in the operating condition without exceeding the permitted limit but they exceeded the permitted limit of temperature rise at low speed.
Concrete has excellent mechanical properties, high durability, and economical advantages over other construction materials. Nevertheless, it is not an easy task to apply concrete to long span bridges. That's because concrete has a low strength to weight ratio. Ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) has a very high strength and hence it allows use of relatively small section for the same design load. Thus UHPC is a promising material to be utilized in the construction of long span bridges. However, there is a possibility of crack generation during the curing process due to the high binder ratio of UHPC and a consequent large amount of hydration heat. In this study, adiabatic temperature rise and mechanical properties were modeled for the stress analysis due to hydration heat. Adiabatic temperature rise curve of UHPC was modeled superposing 2-parameter model and S-shaped function, and the Arrhenius constant was determined using the concept of equivalent time. The results are verified by the mock-up test measuring the temperature development due to the hydration of UHPC. In addition, models for mechanical properties such as elastic modulus, tensile strength and compressive strength were developed based on the test results from conventional load test and ultrasonic pulse velocity measurement.
