식품의 건조 및 수축특성에 관한 연구 - 2. 다시마의 건조 및 수축특성에 영향을 미치는 인자 - (Drying and Shrinking Characteristics of Food 2. Influencing Factors in Drying and Shrinking Characteristics of Sea Tange)

  • 다시마의 건조와 수축특성을 알기위한 기초자료를 얻고자 건조중인 다시마의 건조 및 수축특성에 미치는 채취부위, 공기의 온도, 상대습도 및 풍속의 영향에 관하여 실험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 다시마의 열풍건조과정은 항률건조 기간이 없이 바로 감률건조기가 나타났으며 이것은 다시 감률건조 1단계 및 2단계로 구분되었다. 2) 두께가 얇은 선단부가 기부보다 수축이 더 많이 되었으며 공기의 온도 $50^{\circ}C$, 상대습도 $30\%$, 유속 0.4m/s의 일정한 건조 조건하에서 다시마의 선단부, 중간부 및 기부를 120분까지 건조하였을 경우 수축율은 각각 $57.5\%,\;54.0\%,\;42.7\%$이었다. 3) 상대습도가 낮은것은 높은것에 비해 건조속도 및 수축속도는 빨랐으나 함수률 $20\%$까지 건조하였을 경우 수축율은 오히려 상대습도가 높은것이 증가하였다.

  • We proposed a new cross-coupled level shifter circuit using low temperature poly-Si(LTPS) TFT. The proposed level shifter can operate on low input voltage in spite of low mobility and widely varying high threshold voltage of LTPS TFT. Also, the proposed level shifter operates at high frequency and reduces power consumption for having fast rising and falling time and shortening period flowing short-circuit currents.

미소해칭 전열관의 젖음률에 대한 실험적 상관식 (Experimental Correlation of Wettability for Micro-scale Hatched Tubes)

  • The objectives of this paper are to develop a new method of wettability mea-surement and to study the effect of surface roughness on the wettability in a $H_2O$/LiBr falling film absorber. Two absorber tubes with micro-scale roughness and a bare tube are tested in a falling film absorber installed in a test rig. Inlet solution temperature, concentration and mass flow rate are considered as key parameters. A new method is proposed to estimate the wettability of a tube by measuring a minimum mass flow rate to wet the tube completely. The wettability for the structured surfaces was higher than that for the bare tube. The wettability decreased linearly along the vertical location. The wettability increased with increasing the solution temperature and the solution mass flow rate. The experimental correlations of the wettability for the bare and the micro-hatched tubes were developed with error bands of$\pm20%\;and\;\pm10%$, respectively. This work can be used in the design of absorbers with micro-scale roughness.

Implementation of Falling Accident Monitoring and Prediction System using Real-time Integrated Sensing Data

  • In 2015, the number of senior citizens aged 65 and over in Korea was 6,662,400, accounting for 13.1% of the total population. Along with these social phenomena, risk information related to the elderly is increasing every year. In particular, a fall accident caused by a fall can cause serious injury to an elderly person, so special attention is required. Therefore, in this paper, we implemented a system that monitors fall accidents and informs them in real time to minimize damage caused by falls. To this end, beacon-based indoor location positioning was performed and biometric information based on an integrated module was collected using various sensors. In other words, a multi-functional sensor integration module was designed based on Arduino to collect and monitor user's temperature, heart rate, and motion data in real time. Finally, through the analysis and prediction of measurement signals from the integrated module, damage from fall accidents can be reduced and rapid emergency treatment is possible. Through this, it is possible to reduce the damage caused by a fall accident, and rapid emergency treatment will be possible. In addition, it is expected to lead a new paradigm of safety systems through expansion and application to socially vulnerable groups.

근채류의 건조 및 수축특성에 영향을 미치는 인자 (Influencing Factors in Drying and Shrinking Characteristics of Root Vegetables)

  • 근채류를 열풍건조할 경우 수축변형 및 표면 경화현상을 일으켜 품질변화를 수반하게 되므로 본 연구에서는 온도, 상대습도 및 풍속을 조절할 수 있고 건조중의 시료크기 변화를 측정할 수 있는 실험실 규모의 건조장치를 제작하여 무우 및 고구마의 건조특성과 수축특성에 영향을 미치는 외부 요인들에 대해 조사하였다. 건조속도는 무우 및 고구마 모두 항률건조기, 감률건조기, 감률건조 2단계 a 및 b의 4단계로 구분되어 나타났다. 수축속도 곡선은 각각 건조속도에 대응하여 기울기가 다른 4단계로 나타났으며 항률건조 기간에서는 수축속도가 서서히 증가하다가 감률건조 1단계에서 급격히 증가하였고 감률건조 2단계의 초기에 상당하는 점에서 최대에 달하였다. 또한 시료의 두께. 상대습도 및 초기 함수율 등은 표면적 수축에 큰 영향을 미쳤고 시료의 두께가 얇을수록, 그리고 상대습도 및 초기 함수율이 높을수록 평형 상태에서의 수축율은 증가하였다.

Viscosity Prediction of Synthetic Lubricants from Temperature and Pressure Dependence of Dielectric Relaxation Time

  • The dielectric permittance and the dielectric loss factor of several lubricating oils were measured at frequencies from 100 Hz to 1.5 MHz. The measurements were carried out under atmospheric pressure as a function of temperature and under fixed temperature as a function of pressure. Temperature and pressure dependence of dielectric relaxation time were investigated. The temperature dependence of relaxation time obeyed the Vogel-Fulcher-Tammann (VFT) law. We modified the VFT equation in order to express the dielectric relaxation time as a function of temperature and pressure. Furthermore. by taking into consideration the similarity of the temperature and pressure dependence between dielectric relaxation and mechanical relaxation. the prediction of high-pressure viscosity were conducted. The predicted results were compared with the viscosity data obtained from the falling-sphere type viscometer.

암모니아-물 흡수식 시스템에서 유하액막식 발생기의 해석 (Analysis of Falling-film Generator in Ammonia-water Absorption System)

  • In the present study, an evaporative generation process of ammonia-water solution film on the vertical plate was analysed. For the utilization of waste heat, hot water of low temperature was used as the heat source. The continuity, momentum, energy and diffusion equations for the solution film and vapor mixture were formulated in integral forms and solved numerically. Counter-current solution-vapor flow resulted in the refrigerant vapor of the higher ammonia concentration than that of co-current flow. Eve the rectification of refrigerant vapor was observed near the inlet of solution film in counter-current flow. For the optimum operation of generator using hot water, numerical experiments, based on the heat exchange and generation efficiencies. revealed the inter-relationships among the Reynolds number of the solution film and hot water, and the length of generator. Enhancement of heat and mass transport in the solution film was found to be very effective for the improvement of generation performance, especially at high solution flow rate.

  • Condensation of water vapor into an absorbent liquid of LiBr-water solution falling over a bank of water cooled horizontal tubes was investigated theoretically. The governing conservation equation for a re-defined physical transport phenomena were solved numerically using a finite difference method. Raw parameters were used in this study, since reliable experimental data is required prior to a dimensionless parametric study. The average values of wall heat transfer coefficient and interfacial absorption rate were defined to see the system performance. Other parameters include tube diameter, streamwise coordinate (and number of tubes in row), mass flow rate, and the wall temperature. The effects of these quantities on the absorption processes and suggestions for a rational system design have been presented.

  • In this paper, a design for a vehicle body of an armored robot for complex disasters is described. The proposed design considers various requirements in complex disaster situations. Fire, explosion, and poisonous gas may occur simultaneously under those sites. Therefore, the armored robot needs a vehicle body that can protect people from falling objects, high temperature, and poisonous gas. In addition, it should provide intuitive control devices and realistic surrounding views to help the operator respond to emergent situations. To fulfill these requirements of the vehicle body, firstly, the frame was designed to withstand the impact of falling objects. Secondly, the positive pressure device and the cooling device were applied. Thirdly, a panoramic view was implemented that enables real-time observation of surroundings through a number of image sensors. Finally, the cockpit in the vehicle body was designed focused on the manipulability of the armored robot in disaster sites.

종류별 유화제가 찹쌀떡의 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Various Emulsifiers on the Quality of Waxy Rice Cake)

  • 유화제가 찹쌀떡의 품질에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위하여 monoglyceride, lecithin, sugar ester를 찹쌀분말 대비 각각 0.5%, 1%씩 혼합하여 falling number, RVA를 측정하고 찹쌀떡을 제조한 후 5~7$^{\circ}C$ 사이에 서 냉장 보관하면서 색차계, 수분활성도, rheometer 등을 조사하였다. Falling number는 control과 mono-glyceride, lecithin 0.5%, 1%를 사용한 것은 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나 control의 77.5에 비하여 sugar ester의 경우0.5%와1% 사용시 각각 88.4, 81로 높게 나와 sugar ester가 점도를 높이는 것을 알 수 있었다. 찹쌀 분말의 호화개시온도는 66.78$^{\circ}C$이었으며 유화제를 첨가한 것은 66.45~67.05$^{\circ}C$로 유화제가 호화개시온도에 큰 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 최고점도는 lecithin이 227 RVU, 1% sugar ester가 228.5로 control 231.5에 비하여 낮아졌으며 그밖에 유화제는 최고점도 및 최종 점도가 control에 비하여 높아졌고 특히 1% sugar ester 사용한 것의 최종점도는 199.5 RVU로 가장 높게 나와 falling number와 유사한 경향을 보였다. 유화제를 첨가하여 찹쌀떡의 제조한 결과 유화제를 첨가하지 않은 경우보다 노화가 지연되었으며 1% sugar ester 첨가시 지연 효과가 가장 크게 나타났다. 수분 활성도는 저장 5일째 1% sugar ester를 사용한 것이 0.875로 가장 낮았고 유화제를 사용하지 않은 것이 0.911로 가장 높게 나와 유화제가 찹쌀떡의 수분활성도를 낮추었으며 그 가운데 sugar ester의 효과가 가장 좋았다.
