  • 본 연구에서는, 접촉연소식 가스 탐지 소자를 대상으로 감도특성 및 전기적 특성을 분석하였으며, 24시간 동안 공기중에 노출시킨 후 온도($20^{\circ}c$, $40^{\circ}c$)와 상대습도(65%, 85%)에서 작동시켜 분석하였다. 또한 동일한 주거환경에서 210일 동안 50 cm/sec 유속을 유지하며 가스탐지소자의 동작을 실험하였다. 가스 탐지센서에 공급 전원은 기본회로에 직류 전압별(2.1V, 2.2V, 2.3V)로 인가하였다. 따라서, 상대습도와 온도에 의한 이소부탄과 메탄 특성그래프를 각각 분석한 결과 전반적으로 선형적인 증가를 보임을 확인할 수 있다.

중온 고습 환경조건에서 부분적으로 냉방되는 실내의 열쾌적성에 대한 분석 : 인체반응에 대한 PPD 기준의 평가 (Analysis on the Thermal Comfort Aspect of a Locally-Cooled Room in Warm and Humid Environments : PPD-Based Evaluation of Human Responses)

  • Thermal comfort aspect of a locally-cooled target space in warm and humid environments(typically in the rainy summer season) was studied in view of PPD index. First. theoretical analyses were conducted to examine the effect of the governing parameters(such as air temperature, relative humidity and air velocity, etc.) using a computer model. Secondly, experimental investigations were also performed in a climatic room designed to simulate corresponding thermal conditions of outdoor environments. During the tests, temporal variation of PPD was recorded as functions of climatic variables(outdoor and indoor temperatures, relative humidity and air velocity) for the given human factors(metabolic heat generation and clothing). From both theoretical and experimental investigations, air temperature and air velocity were found to be the most dominant parameters affecting PPD of the target space. Results were summarized as: 1. Relative humidity of the locally-cooled target space tends to approach that of outdoor's as the space is subjected to an ON-OFF mode of cooling, since moisture potential of the two rooms reaches an equalized state as a result of moisture diffusion. 2. It was recognized that changes in relative humidity did not show any significance in view of thermal comfort as was reported in the previous studies, while variations of both temperature and air velocity caused relatively large changes in the degree of thermal comfort. 3. In-door environment should be evaluated in terms of PPD instead of relative humidity commonly recognized as an important climatic variable particularly in warm and humid environments.

경주 남산 소나무림의 가을철 해발고도별 음이온 발생지수 (Negative Ion Generation Index according to Altitude in the Autumn of Pine Forest in Gyeongju Namsan)

  • 본 연구에서는 경주 남산을 대상으로 지형구조 및 해발고도가 음이온 발생량에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 기온은 능선부($9.82^{\circ}C$) > 계곡부($8.44^{\circ}C$), 상대습도는 계곡부(59.01%) > 능선부(58.64%), 풍속은 능선부(0.63m/s) > 계곡부(0.37m/s), 일사량은 능선부($34.40W/m^2$) > 계곡부($14.69W/m^2$)로 나타났다. 음이온의 경우 계곡부($636.81ea/cm^3$) > 능선부($580.04ea/cm^3$)로 계곡부가 더 높은 음이온 발생량을 보였다. 해발고도와의 상관성 분석 결과, 계곡부에서는 기온, 상대습도, 일사량, 음이온 발생량과의 상관성이 검증되었으며, 상대습도, 일사량, 음이온 발생량과는 정의 상관관계, 기온과 부의 상관관계가 나타났다. 능선부에서는 기온, 상대습도, 풍속, 일사량, 음이온 발생량과의 상관성이 검증되었으며, 상대습도, 일사량, 음이온 발생량과는 정의 상관관계, 기온, 풍속과는 부의 상관관계가 나타났다. 회귀분석 결과, 기온의 경우 계곡부는 y= -0.006x+9.663 (x=해발고도, y=기온), 능선부의 경우 y= -0.009x+11.595(x=해발고도, y=기온)의 예측식을 얻었다. 상대습도의 경우 계곡부는 y= 0.027x+53.561 (x=해발고도, y=상대습도), 능선부의 경우 y= 0.008x+56.646 (x=해발고도, y=상대습도)의 예측식을 얻었다. 음이온 발생량의 경우 계곡부는 y= 0.577x+521.508 (x=해발고도, y=음이온 발생량), 능선부의 경우 y= 0.605x+549.068 (x=해발고도, y=음이온 발생량)의 예측식을 얻었다.

습공기사이클 냉동시스템의 성능해석 (Performance Analysis of a Wet Air-Cycle Refrigeration System)

  • The objective of this study is to theoretically analyze the performance of an open wet air-cycle refrigeration system, which nowadays is increasingly generating environmental concern. The temperature and relative humidity of the outside air are selected as the most important parameters. As the temperature and relative humidity of the outside air increase, the pressure ratio of the ACM compressor is determined to be nearly constant, the air temperature at the exit of the system increases, and the amount of condensed water, the cooling capacity, the COP, and the total entropy production rate increase overall. The effects of the effectiveness of the heat exchanger and the efficiency of the turbine on the performance are greater than that of the efficiency of the ACM compressor. Also, the performance of the wet air-cycle refrigeration system with two heat exchangers is enhanced, with a high COP and low total entropy production rate, compared to the system with a single heat exchanger.

Evaluation of pig behavior changes related to temperature, relative humidity, volatile organic compounds, and illuminance

  • The objective of this study was evaluation of pig behavior changes related to temperature, relative humidity, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and illuminance. A total of 24 growing pigs ([Yorkshire × Landrace] × Duroc) were used in the experiment. A sensor was installed at a height of 0.5 m in the center of the pig house. In experiment 1, temperature was changed every four days to 18℃ (T1), 22℃ (T2), 26℃ (T3), and then 30℃ (T4). In experiment 2, relative humidity was adjusted to 45% (low humidity [LH]), 60% (middle humidity [MH]), and then 75% (high humidity [HH]) for four days. In experiment 3, after cleaning the pig house just before experiment, only minimal ventilation was provided. VOCs and pig behaviors were observed for 7 days without cleaning the pig house. In experiment 4, three light bulbs of 40 W (470 lumens / 45 lx; low illuminance [LI]), 75 W (1,055 lumens / 103 lx; middle illuminance [MI]), and 100 W (1,521 lumens / 146 lx; high illuminance [HI]) were used for four days each. Pig behavior analysis was performed for following criteria : Feed intake, Standing, Lying, Sitting, Drink water, Rooting, Posture transition (lying-standing), Posture transition (standing-lying), Wallowing, and Biting. In experiment 1, feed intake time was lower (p < 0.05) for the T3 than other treatment groups. Standing time was highest (p < 0.05) for the T1 and lowest (p < 0.05) for the T3. Lying time was shorter (p < 0.05) in T1 and T2 compared to T3 and T4. Drinking frequency was higher (p < 0.05) for the T4 than other treatment groups. In experiment 2, the frequency of rooting and wallowing increased (p < 0.05) with increasing humidity. LH showed the lowest (p < 0.05) rooting frequency and HH showed the highest (p < 0.05) rooting frequency. In experiment 3, VOCs concentration did not (p > 0.05) change pig behavior. In experiment 4, lying time was the longest (p < 0.05) at LI and shortest (p < 0.05) at HI. Therefore, pig behavior is heavily influenced by the environment, especially temperature and humidity. However, correlation between pig behavior to VOCs and illuminance seems to be needed more research.

온도 및 습도 변화에 따른 라이너원지의 압축강도 열화에 관한 연구 (Compressive Strength Reduction Characteristics of Linerboard as Influenced by Temperature and Humidity)

  • 온도 및 습도 변화에 따른 라이너원지의 압축강도 열화를 측정한 결과 압축강도는 온도변화에 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 습도변화의 경우 66% RH에서는 IK원지의 강도저하가 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 93% RH에서는 KA원지의 강도저하가 40%로 가장 낮았으며 SK원지가 56%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 비압축강도의 경우 66% RH에서는 SC 마니라와 IK 원지가, 93% RH에서는 IK원지와 KA원지가 가장 우수하였다. 원 단위 압축강도에서는 습도를 무시할 경우 SK원지가 우수하였으나 66% RH와 93% RH에서는 모두 KA원지가 다른 원지보다 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 농산물 포장용 라이너로 KA원지를 사용할 경우 경제적이면서도 압축강도가 높은 골판지상자를 제조할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

기능성 골판지 포장재 KS규격표준화연구 (A Study on the KS standardization of functional corrugated fibreboard)

  • In order to keep a characteristic corrugated fibreboard of fruits and flowers, temperature and humidity change of corrugated fibreboard are analyzed. According to relative humidity rises at fixed temperature, bursting strength of corrugated fibreboard was fallen and double wall corrugated fibreboard appeared greatly the bursting strength decline rate than double faced corrugated fibreboard and edgewise compressive strength of paper more than humidity 80% in rapidly fall. A column crush test of paper became decrease in the high temperature and ordinary temperature strength did over humidity 70% rapidly fallen and strength decrease happened by low temperature 80% slowly fallen and later rapidly. According to ISO standard temperature humidity conditioning (23$\pm$2 , 50$\pm$2%) change, pulp composition difference as to the ring crush strength of a physical strength and generally compare to KS standard increased 5∼8% for the compressive strength, and wet strength reagent was increased 4% inside and out.

부산의 도시건조화 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the Characteristics of Urban Dryness in Busan)

  • It is well known that urban relative humidity has continuous decreasing trend owing to the influence of urbanization. The change of relative humidity is directly influenced by two factors, namely, temperature effect and water vapor effect in various urban effects. In this study, the temperature and the water vapor effects on the relative humidity change were analyzed by using monthly mean relative humidities for a long period(1961~2013) in Busan and Daegu. The major results obtained in this study can be summarized as follows. Firstly, the urban dryness was caused mainly by water vapor effect in summer. But, for the other seasons, the urban dryness is mainly due to the temperature effect. Secondly, the relative humidity in Busan is on the decrease until now. This phenomenon is similar to another Korean huge cities such as Seoul, Daejeon and Incheon.

대학실험실과 병원진단검사실에서의 부유진균 농도와 환경영향인자 (Concentrations and environmental influences of airborne fungi at university laboratories, hospital diagnostic laboratories)

  • This study evaluated the airborne concentrations of fungi in university laboratories, hospital diagnostic laboratories in Seoul. The incubated fungi was identified by lactophenol cotton blue (LPCB) staining method. Variables such as types of ventilation, temperature and relative humidity were investigated to explain laboratory airborne fungal concentrations. A total of 97 air samples were collected from 10 facilities in two institutions. Aspergilus spp., including Aspergilus niger, Aspergillius flavos and Penicillium spp. were found as predominant species. Airborne fungal concentrations ranged from not detected (ND) to 1,890 CFU/$m^3$. Airborne fungal concentrations were high in general-ventilated facilities and in laboratories where relative humidity ( > 60 %) were high ( p < 0.001). Therefore, we suggest that relative humidity should be maintained to properly reduce the concentration of fungal in university and hospital laboratories.

전통한옥과 신한옥의 함수율 모니터링 및 분석 (Monitoring and Analysis of Moisture Contents for Traditional and New-styled Hanoks)

  • In this study, the moisture contents of four Hanoks have been monitored and the results were analyzed. Murujeong and Ongojae were built by traditional construction method and material, and Jeeshinjae and Hwakyeongdang were built by modernized construction method and material. Hwakyeongdang was monitored about 2 years and 9 months and the other three Hanoks were monitored about 4 years and 2 months. The surface moisture contents were measured by the non-destructive electronic resistant type moisture content meter. The measured moisture contents were affected by the orientation to the sun, wood type, temperature and relative humidity. The columns on the northern side and lumber showed more moisture contents than those of the southern side and glue-laminated wood. The moisture contents and relative humidity showed proportional relationship. The moisture contents of all four monitored Hanoks existed proper range by and large.
