  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between transformative leadership, team cohesion, and team performance of Chinese university taekwondo leaders. Specifically, it is to investigate the effect of transformative leadership on team cohesion and team performance and to verify the mediating effect of team cohesion in the relationship between transformative leadership and team performance. In order to achieve the research purpose, a total of 350 people were sampled after setting taekwondo leaders at Chinese universities as a population. The measurement tool used in this study was a questionnaire consisting of 5 items on demographic characteristics, a total of 19 questions on transformational leadership, 10 questions on team cohesion, and 4 questions on team performance. The validity of the questionnaire was verified through exploratory factor analysis, and the reliability was verified through reliability analysis. The reliability Cronbach's α of the questionnaire was found to be α=0.755-0.799 for transformative leadership, α=0.848, and α=0.740 for team performance. As the data processing method, exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis, one-way analysis (one-way ANOVA), and multiple regression analysis were used using SPSS WIN. • There have been several efforts for the investigation of the formal development team which was formed in the IAI to develop a common 2D standard specification between ISO/STEP and IAI/IFC since 2002. As a result, a drafting model has been included in the IFC2.x2 model. However, to be used actively in the construction practice for construction drawing exchange, the IFC model should be extended to the paper space for multiple views, drawing output, and delivery of drawings. Therefore, in this paper, the methodology of relating STEP and IFC has been investigated and schema extension of paper space(drawing sheet, presentation view, view pipeline), complex entity(leader), and dimension(associative) have been achieved. The resulting, IFC model will enable a basic harmonization with KOSDIC. SCADEC, and STEP-CDS by retaining the current IFC architecture. In addition, IT systems for the construction industry can be beneficial from the developed data model.

  • Korea is examining how to coordinate its S&T policies and solidify its position as a leader of infrastructure innovation policy that forms the foundation for many different policies. A number of questions have been raised, such as whether to install a superior coordinating body like the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) or separate the budget allocation and coordination authority from the budget-planning ministry. Korea has tried using various institutional coordination devices and functions such as reorganizing its administrative ministries based on related functions and installing or reinforcing a superior coordinating body. In line with these discussions, the strengthening of the S&T policy coordination function through the NSTC is currently under review. In order to design an effective S&T coordination system in step with changing political and social demands, it is important to have a clear recognition of the current context as well as the unique institutional characteristics of Korea. This study examines the evolution of Korea's S&T policy coordination systems and analyzes its features.

  • Many studies have affirmed a negative influence of fragmentation on learning and knowledge sharing in construction projects. However, the literature overlooked enablers of learning within this context. The purpose of this paper is to explore the factors that facilitate project learning and ways to negate any unbecoming effects of fragmentation. Qualitative study used to explore the enablers through interviews administered to 11 top management individuals working in different construction projects in Malaysia. The findings revealed the following factors: participation, relationships, togetherness, and roles of project leader and coordinator. The role of boundary objects was also highlighted including information technology (IT), contract and procedures, drawings, specifications, and reports. The outcome of this paper initiates the development of a model for better knowledge creation and sharing in construction projects. The significance of this model stems from its ability to connection both the characteristics of construction project and project learning theories using the enablers. It is envisaged that future work will be to confirm the model in a quantitative study.

  • Urban renovation projects (reconstruction and redevelopment) have a longer licensing period than general housing projects, and many consultations with the licensing authorities require expertise. Most of the members of the union do not have basic knowledge of the maintenance business, so they have a lot of authority to promote smooth business Is entrusted to the union leader. However, contrary to the original purpose entrusted by the members, it is easy to find a case where the business is suspended because the union leader is exposed to corruption for the private interests of the union, and the members' disputes could not be resolved. In order to overcome this risk, the problem of the maintenance project was found through a questionnaire survey composed of practical experts, and a solution was presented through the KCSI evaluation model. This study mentioned the necessity of a responsible CM that can make independent business decisions without interference from the union, rather than a management-type CM limited to the cooperative's work assistance. In order to promote the construction industry's national role, it was necessary to revitalize responsible CM, so six practical alternatives were proposed.

  • Fashion industry is faced with issues of raising the competitiveness of established designers recently. As well as the change of business system, the specialization of professionals in design team increases the needs of in-service training of fashion designers. But, the education programs of enterprise are generally focused on adaptability to the organization and harmony among men as an introduction level. Furthermore, there are few professional institutions that give an education to the working-level designers. Thus, this study aimed at development of specialized in-service training program that could educate established designers for more integrated thought to cope with rapid changes in the fashion field. Firstly, the theoretical study on the in-service training and changes of fashion environment had been studied through literature review. Then, the current state of in-service training of fashion enterprises and the courses for established designers in fashion institutions were analysed. Finally, a comprehensive framework of in-service training program for fashion designers has been established as a result of this study. The program was designed in accordance with the previous research which reached 4 different educational needs for in-service training: brand planning and management, understanding production, understanding practical fabrics & colors, computer program. The study went further to apply the program to each design group divided by career: new designer, junior designer, senior designer, design leader. This study also suggested evaluation process to confirm the effects.
