  • The genus Gueldenstaedtia Fisch. is small genus of Fabaceae that includes four species worldwide. Among these, G. monophylla Fisch and G. verna (Georgi) Boriss. are currently recognized as occurring in Mongolia. Here, we present our findings on G. verna from our recent field surveys in eastern Mongolia in 2020. Gueldenstaedtia monophylla is mostly distributed in the western region, whereas G. verna occurs in eastern Mongolia. The regional conservation status of both species was assessed as near threatened based on criterion B in the country. We provided descriptions, grid distribution maps, taxonomic notes and photographic illustrations of the two species based on our newly collected samples.

  • Two species of Leycesteria, L. gracilis (Kurz) Airy Shaw and L. formosa Wall. (Caprifoliaceae), from the Lao Cai and Yen Bai Provinces are reported here as a new generic record for the flora of Vietnam. During floristic surveys of northern Vietnam, L. gracilis and L. Formosa were encountered. A critical morphological study of all the collected specimens and the type of materials consulting the relevant literature led us to confirm the identity of our collected specimens as L. gracilis and L. formosa. The genus differs from other Vietnamese genera of Caprifoliaceae by the presence of a spike inflorescence or flowers in sessile whorls of 6. Taxonomic notes, description, and photographs are provided, together with short notes on the distribution, ecology and phenology of the two species.

  • The Dryopidae (Coleoptera) is composed of approximately 300 species worldwide belonging to 33 genera; however, members of the family have not been recorded in Korea. We collected and recorded adult specimens of Elmomorphus brevicornis Sharp (=E. brevicornis brevicornis Sharp) on piles of submerged twigs and branches of a decayed tree (Prunus sp.) from a mountain stream in southwestern Korea with a comparison of the type specimens of E. brevicornis amamiensis Nomura from Japan. Both of the subspecies are raised to the species level herein. Redescription, photographs, line drawings of diagnostic characteristics, distribution map, habitat, and taxonomic notes for Elmomorphus brevicornis are provided.

  • A newly recorded species of Philostephanus Distant, 1909 from Korea, P. ulmi (Kerzhner, 1979), is reported with brief taxonomic notes on the Korean Philostephanus species. Morphological keys of the Korean Philostephanus species are provided with the photos of adults and female genitalia for each species.

  • Through taxonomic survey of specimens collected from the coasts of Korea from 1993 to 2006, Dimorphostylis echinata $Gam{\hat{o}}$, 1962 is new to Korean cumacean fauna. Especially, the adult male and female of D. echinata are described for the first time. Dimorphostylis sculpturensis Vassilenko and Tzareva, 1990 is proposed as a synonym of D. acroplicata Harada, 1960 in this research. Also, its female is redescribed for the first time in Korea.
