수질오염총량관리 계획수립의 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Scheme of the Total Water Pollution Load Management Plan)

  • In order to improve water quality in drinking water sources, Ministry of Environment (MOE) was implemented total water pollution load management (TWPLM) in all the major river basins. From the experience of the application of TWPLM, we could find some problems relating the target watershed, standard operating procedure (SOP) of establishment and implementation plan, water quality and flow rate, design flow, water quality model, margin of safety (MOS), and estimation of wasteload were found. The authors were reviewed ongoing TWPLM and presented the improvement schemes for a successful TWPLM. For the application of these suggestions, further detailed studies should be done to implement TWPLM in the future.

  • This study investigated the management environment of medium and small business by examining the role of medium and small business in national economics, the change in management condition, and the problems in quality and technique. Also we analyzed problems in the past quality control activity of our medium and small business, and examined the driving direction and intorduction method of QM. And to understand the effect of manager's concern in quality management to observe the quality system before and after introduction of QM. A target for this investigation is the medium and small business which has introduced QM through ISO 9000. Also analyzed how 05 observance effects to the sale price, process effect customer complaint and on-time delibery by an oral test.

반도체 웨이퍼 ID 인식을 위한 다중템플릿형 영상분할 알고리즘 개발 (Development of a Multi-template type Image Segmentation Algorithm for the Recognition of Semiconductor Wafer ID)

  • This paper presents a method to segment semiconductor wafer ID on poor quality images. The method is based on multiple templates and normalized gray-level correlation (NGC) method. If the lighting condition is not so good and hence, we can not control the image quality, target image to be inspected presents poor quality ID and it is not easy to identify and then recognize the ID characters. Conventional several method to segment the interesting ID regions fails on the bad quality images. In this paper, we propose a multiple template method, which uses combinational relation of multiple templates from model templates to match several characters of the inspection images. To find out the optimal solution of multiple template model in ID regions, we introduce newly-developed snake algorithm. Experimental results using images from real FA environment are presented.

  • There has been growing concern regarding IAQ(Indoor Air Quality) recently, and IAQ problems from the air-tightness and use of chemical materials addition to the building materials have become increasingly important factors in the built environment. Ventilation is supposed as the solution of healthy indoor quality, and Korea government requests that all new apartment buildings must have a ventilation system as a matter of duty since January, 2006. The purpose of this study is to investigate the indoor concentration change of VOCs include the Formaldehyde according to many different ventilation supply types. Results showed that the reduction effect of target pollutants by the ventilation system was very slight. The cause of these results was attribute to increase the emission rate of building materials by increasing the ventilation rate.

동적계획법을 이용한 자동화 공정에서의 제품 ID 마크 자동분할 알고리듬 개발 (Development of an Image Segmentation Algorithm using Dynamic Programming for Object ID Marks in Automation Process)

  • This paper presents a method to segment object ID(identification) marks on poor quality images under uncontrolled lighting conditions of automated inspection process. The method is based on dynamic programming using multiple templates and normalized gray-level correlation (NGC) method. If the lighting condition is not good and hence, we can not control the image quality, target image to be inspected presents poor quality ID marks and it is not easy to identify and recognize the ID characters. Conventional several methods to segment the interesting ID mark regions fail on the bad quality images. In this paper, we propose a multiple template method, which uses combinational relation of multiple templates from model templates to match several characters of the inspection images. To increase the computation speed to segment the ID mark regions, we introduce the dynamic programming based algorithm. Experimental results using images from real factory automation(FA) environment are presented.

  • If the specifications of product. in general. art determined too wide. the precision of product becomes diminished. Otherwise it costs dearly to keep the precision. Therefore, It is realistic to consider various factors in determining specification of qualify characteristics TAGUCH Idefines quality of an object as "Quality is the loss that a product causes to society after being shipped. other than any losses caused by its intrinsic function". Particularly, to improve the performances of product TAGUCHI focuses his attention on the product design and process design which enable the functional characteristics of product to he robust to noises. In this paper, by the TAGUCHI's loss function, the characteristics which affect the variation of a product performance are classified into the scrappable characteristics and the reworkable characteristics when the target values of functional characteristics have been determined. And we will determine the tolerance of each characteristic which minimize the quality cost by the cost function which considers the economic factors and probability features of each characteristic.cteristic.

초음파 영상에서 동적영역과 주파수 방식의 설정에 따른 효과 (Effects of Settings in Dynamic Ranges and Frequency Modes on Ultrasonic Images)

  • 임상에서 정확한 진단을 위해 양질의 초음파 영상을 얻는 것은 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 초음파 진단기의 주파수와 동적 영역(dynamic range, DR) 설정 및 프로브 유형에 따른 초음파 영상의 변화를 관찰하였다. 실험에서 고형 및 낭성 종괴 병변과 유사한 초음파 평가 팬텀(539,551, ATS, USA)의 6가지 LCS(low contrast sensitivity) 표적(-15, -6, -3, +3, +6, +15 dB)에 대한 영상을 대상으로 평가하였다. 초음파 영상은 볼록형(convex, C3-7IM) 및 선형(linear probe, L5-12IM) 두 가지 탐촉자(Probe)에 대해 SA-9900(Medison Ltd, Korea)을 이용하여 얻었다. 주파수는 4가지 방식(gen, pen, res, harmonic), 동적영역은 $40{\sim}100\;dB$ 범위에서 설정을 변화하면서 영상을 취득하였다. 취득한 영상의 질은 표적의 명목상 LCS 값과 영상에서 측정된 LCS을 비교하여 평가 하였다. 실험 결과 볼록형 탐촉자의 경우, 각 LCS 표적에 대해 주파수 방식 별로 동적영역 값을 40, 60, 80, 100 dB로 변화할 때, 초음파 영상의 질은 유의한 변화가 없었다. 그러나 낭종성 병변에 가까운 LCS 표적 -15 dB에서는 동적영역 60 dB과 하모닉 주파수 방식에서 LCS 값이 높게 나타났다. 선형 프로브에서는 -15 dB LCS 표적에서 동적영역 40 dB, 하모닉 방식에서 명목상 값에 근접하였다. LCS관점에서 정량화된 영상의 평가의 한계와 주관적인 평가 즉 심리적인 관점에서의 ROC(Receiver Operating Characteristic) 평가의 필요성에 대해 토의하였다.

금강수계에서 총인관리의 확대 필요성 (Necessity for Expansion of Total Phosphorus Management in the Geum River Watershed)

  • Total phosphorus was set as a target indicator to prevent eutrophication and algae growth, etc., in three major rivers (Nakdong River, Geum River and Yeongsang/Seomjin River) for the second phase (2011 ~ 2015) in total maximum daily loads (TMDLs) system. However, total phosphorus management was restrictively introduced, i.e., upstream of the Lake Daechung, in the Geum River watershed. Total phosphorus concentration and trophic levels in downstream of the Lake Daechung (include Mangyeong and Dongjin rivers) were increased more than upstream. Therefore, it is necessary to expand total phosphorus management in all watersheds of the Geum River. If total phosphorus was managed in all area of the Geum River watershed, it is possible to decrease total phosphorus concentration and trophic levels, and solve the unbalanced water quality between up and downstream of the Lake Daechung.

Low Calorific Gasturbine 매립지 적용 및 유리온실 운용기술 설계 (Design for Landfill Gas Appliation by Low Calorific Gas Turbine and Green House Optimization Technology)

  • Low Calorific Gas Turbine (LCGT) has been developed as a next generation power system using landfill gas (LFG) and biogas made from various organic wastes, food Waste, waste water and Livestock biogas. Low calorific fuel purification by pretreatment system and carbon dioxide fixation by green house system are very important design target for the optimum applications of LCGT. Main troubles of Low Calorific Gas Turbine system was derived from the impurities such as hydro sulfide, siloxane, water contained in biogas. Even if the quality of the bio fuel is not better than natural gas, LCGT may take low quality gas fuel and environmental friendly power system. The mechanical characterisitics of LCGT system is a high energy efficiency (>70%), wide range of output power (30 kW - 30 MW class) and very clean emission from power system (low NOx). A green house has been designed for four different carbon dioxide concentration from ambient air to 2000 ppm by utilizing the exhaust gas and hot water from LCGT system. LCGT is expected to contribute achieving the target of Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS).

기어 소음 품질 안정화를 위한 전달오차 측정 시스템 개발 및 전달오차 스펙 개발에 대한 연구 (A Research for the Development of the Transmission Error Measuring System and Transmission Error Specification for the Gear Noise Quality)

  • In the past, transmission error(T.E.) has been identified as one of the main sources of gear whine noise, which cause serious passengers irritation at high frequency. In this study, to identify the correlation of the T.E. and gear whine noise, a T.E. measuring system was developed. By comparing the T.E. and gear whine noise level, T.E. target value which can represent the gear noise was proposed. The conclusions are followed: (I) It is possible to measure T.E. of the gear pairs (II) Similar trends are observed between T.E. and gear whine noise. (III) By observing the T.E. pattern, presence of sideband noise can be predicted. (IV) Proposed T.E. target value can be adopted to the gear manufacturing for gear noise quality management.
