감성공학을 기초한 냉장고의 음질 인덱스 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Sound Quality Index of a Refrigerator Based on Human Sensibility Engineering)

  • The international competition in refrigerator markets has continuously required the research for sound quality of a refrigerator to improve the quality of a life. In this paper, A new method for evaluation of the sound quality of a refrigerator is developed based on human sensibility engineering by using ANN(artificial neural network). In this paper, the loudness and the sharpness of the refrigerator's signals was used for the input value in ANN's training process because the loudness and the sharpness has a good correlation between the output of the ANN and the target of the individual evaluation In the training process. Two input factor was used repeatedly in the training process to get more optimum weighting value. And then finally we developed the sound quality index of a refrigerator. The developed sound quality index was confirmed by the 96.5 % of correlation between the output of the ANN and the real evaluation. It will be applied to evaluate the sound quality of a refrigerator in the industry.

  • An optimal control technique designed for simultaneous tracking and quality control for batch processes. The proposed technique is designed by transforming quadratic-criterion based iterative learning control(Q-ILC) into linear quadratic control problem. For real-time quality inferential control, the quality is modeled by linear combination of control input around target qualify and then the relationship between quality and control input can be transformed into time-varying linear state space model. With this state space model, the real-time quality inferential control can be incorporated to LQ control Problem. As a consequence, both the quality variable as well as other controlled variables can progressively reduce their control error as the batch number increases while rejecting real-time disturbances, and finally reach the best achievable states dictated by a quadratic criterion even in case that there is significant model error Also the computational burden is much reduced since the most computation is calculated in off-line. The Proposed control technique is applied to a semi-batch reactor model where series-parallelreactions take place.

스키리조트 서비스품질 개선 우선순위 도출 (Analysis on the Improvement of Ski Resort Service Quality with the Performance Model)

  • This paper reorganized five service qualities dimensions of ski-resorts, then derived the improvement priority order of the service quality through a satisfaction measure considering the importance. There're more competitive situations to guarantee customers using the skies and snowboards is a major sports in winter season. In these competitive environments, this paper's going to propose a predominant-competitive strategies for improving the service quality of ski-resorts. This study measured the satisfaction considering the importance of service quality target on customers has an experience ski resort service quality to improve ski resort service quality. This study using Performance Model decide a priority order about a particular item improvement, then is going to present a guideline that can improve the service quality more exactly. As a result of the study the factors that is important to the customer were prime physical factor, access, assistance physical factor, staff service and assistant service, an improvement priority order were accommodation and eating-drinking facilities, waiting time of a slope and lift/gondola, entertainment/shopping facilities in the resorts, equipment rental and lift fare.

국방표준 및 규격의 제·개정 우선순위 산출을 위한 모형 개발 (Development of Priority Calculation Models for Enacting and Revising the Korea Defense Standards and Specifications)

  • Purpose: This study developed a method of determining priorities for evaluating and revising defense standards. Methods: The proposed data integration and refinement methods are used to obtain component reliability information and to determine the frequency of component citation based on Pareto analysis. Based on the reliability information and the frequency of cited components, the target components for quality improvement can be determined and improved using various methods, such as engineering changes, special meetings, additional training, and revising the maintenance manual. Results: Based on the proposed process, we identified components that need to be improved in order to enhance the quality and reliability. Conclusion: Our process will improve the quality and reliability of weapon systems. The proposed process can be adopted for various weapon systems to enhance their quality and reliability, and to reduce military spending.

항생제 사용의 질 지표를 이용한 국내 외래 항생제 사용현황의 국제 비교 (Quality Assessment of Outpatient Antibiotic Consumptions in Korea Compared with Other Countries)

  • This study aimed to assess the quality of outpatient antibiotic consumption in Korea compared with other countries. We used the National Health Insurance claims data for outpatient services in March, June, September, and December in 2012 and calculated nine indicator values based on the 12 European Surveillance of Antimicrobial Consumption (ESAC) drug-specific quality indicators. Indicator values in this study reflect the yearly use of antibiotic expressed in defined daily doses for 1,000 inhabitants per day (DID) and the use of main subclasses of antibiotics expressed in DID and as percentage of the total antibiotic use. Korea showed lower quality in the consumption of total antibiotics (J01), especially in the use of Cephalosporins (J01D) expressed in DID. Korea also showed low quality with regard to the use of narrow/broad spectrum antibiotics. The percentage of the use of narrow-spectrum Penicillins (J01CE) was lowest in Korea. The quality on the use of the third- and fourth-generation cephalosporin (J01(DD+DE)) was the fourth lowest among 26 countries. High rates of antibiotic resistance and payment system based on fee-for-service might have influenced on the high consumption of the broad spectrum antibiotics in Korea. It needs to further investigate the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics to identify the target of strategies promoting quality use of antibiotics in Korea.

A Study on the Determinants of Medical Institution's Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty: Focused on the Effects of Service Quality Factors

  • Objective: The objective of this study is to provide medical institutions with theoretical basis by analyzing the effect of service quality-related factors. It will be helpful for hospitals to enhance service quality which will be of use to attain customer satisfaction and ultimately competitive advantage. Design: An empirical study. Methods: To verify the model, I conducted a questionnaire survey analysis. Items for measurement have been extracted from several related studies on medical industry. The survey target has been set by convenience sampling method and consists of citizens reside in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province, and total number of 161 samples have been analyzed. To verify validity and reliability, I conducted factor analysis and reliability analysis, and for hypotheses verification, multiple regression analyses have been performed. Results: This study aims to investigate the relation between service quality factors and customer satisfaction, and also those factors and customer loyalty. Service quality factors consist of Tangibles(X1), Reliability(X2), Assurance(X3), Responsiveness(X4), and Empathy(X5). According to the results of regression analyses, X1, X2, X3, and X5 have been proved to have positive relations with customer satisfaction and loyalty, whereas hypothesis related X4 has not been supported. Finally, customer satisfaction has been founded to affects positively to customer loyalty. Conclusions: Service quality factors are significantly related to customer satisfaction and loyalty. So medical institutions should aware of this and try to enhance service quality for attaining competitive advantage.

스틸코드 롤러교정공정의 압하량에 따른 교정도 평가 (Evaluation of the Product Quality According to Intermesh of the Roller Straightening Process of Steel Cord)

  • This paper deals with an evaluation of the product quality according to intermesh of the roller straightening process of a steel cord. To perform the experiments, a single-layered steel cord with three wires is selected as a target. Intermeshes at inlet and outlet of the roller straightening device are selected as a respective design parameter. According to two intermeshes of the roller straightening device, a design table is generated and experiments were performed. Three assessment items of the product quality, such as the residual torsion, the arc-height and the pre-forming ratio, are measured in each experimental case for the quantitative evaluation of a steel cord. Based on the measured data, the sensitivity of two intermeshes was analyzed and the prediction equation for the product quality of a steel cord was also constructed from the regression analysis.

  • The real estate management includes not only the brokerage, property management, development, investment and consulting which are related to real estate handling, but also the human resources who deal with the real estate business. The level of management quality of Korean real estate business is rather poor. This paper deals with management innovation of real estate management using Six Sigma methodology The main focus of this Paper is to develop strategy Planning, and is to select critical success factors for each strategy to make an advanced management system for real estate business. This paper is a case study, and the target company for this innovation is ERA-Korea Company. Seven strategies are proposed, and for each strategy several critical success factors are suggested. Through this case study, the authors hope that a management quality model for real estate business is proposed, and an improved management method can be adopted in the other real estate companies.

HSPF를 이용한 비점오염원 삭감에 따른 효과 분석 (Assessing Impact of Reduction of Non-Point Source Pollution by BASINS/HSPF)

  • This paper aims to assessing impact of reduction of non-point source pollution in the Bokha Stream watershed. The BASINS/HSPF model was calibrated and verified for water flow and water qualities using Total Maximum Daily Load 8days data from 2006 to 2007. Accuracy of the BASINS/HSPF models in simulating hydrology and water quality was compared and there were somewhat differences of statistical results, but water flow and water quality were simulated in good conditions over the study period. The applicability of models was tested to evaluate non-point source control scenarios to response hydrology and water quality in the Bokha stream using various measures which include BMPs approach and change of landuse. The evaluation of reduction of non-point source pollution was developed using load-duration curve. Despite strong reduction of non-point source, there are not satiated target quality at low flow season.

  • 많은 6시그마 혁신을 하는 기업 중에서 IS09000 시리즈나 IS0/TS16949 인증을 받고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 6시그마 도입 초기부터 ISO/TS16949와 통합운영을 생각하고 추진하는 곳은 많지 않다. ISO/TS16949에서는 기업전반의 프로세스에 많은 중점을 두고 있다. 그 중에서도 APQP(Advanced Product Quality Planning)은 제품 초기에서 부터 명확한 품질계획 업무 프로세스를 가지고 활동을 하라는 필수 프로세스를 요구하고 있다. 그러나 구체적인 Flow나 단계는 각 기업체의 특성에 맞기고 있다. 6시그마의 Lean DFSS는 이러한 제품개발 프로세스의 구체적인 전개단계를 제공 하고 있다. 여기에 APQP에 서 요건으로 명시한 각 프로세스 단계마다 인풋(Input)요소, 아웃풋(Output) 요소, 타켓(Target), 그 프로세스를 책임질 구성원, 핵심성공요인(KSF), 핵심성공지수(KPI), 단계마다의 FMEA(Failure Mode Effect Analysis) 분석을 대응하면 도입 초기에서 부터 상호 유기적이면서 효과적인 System이 된다.
