  • 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서는 품질관리(品質管理)의 추진(推進)을 비용(費用) 지향적(指向的)인 방법(方法)과 공정지향적(工程指向的)인 방법(方法)으로 대별(大別)하고 각각(各各)의 특징(特徵)을 설명(說明)함과 아울러 비교분석(比較分析) 하였다. 또 현장(現場) Q.C 담당기술자(擔當技術者)들이 품질관리(品質管理)를 실시(實施)함에 있어서 방향(方向)을 모색한다거나 현재(現在) 실시(實施)하고 있는 방법(方法)의 부당성(不當性)을 첵크하기 위한 기준(基準)을 비용함수(費用函數)로서 제시(提示)하였다.

BASINS/HSPF 모델을 이용한 화성호 수질보전을 위한 상류 유역 수질개선방안 연구 (Watershed Management Measures for Water Quality Conservation of the Hwaseong Reservoir using BASINS/HSPF Model)

  • HSPF model based on BASINS was applied to analyze effects of watershed management measures for water quality conservation in the Hwaseong Reservoir watershed. The model was calibrated against the field measurements of meteorological data, streamflow and water qualities ($BOD_5$, T-N, T-P) at each observatory for 4 years (2007-2010). The water quality characteristics of inflow streams were evaluated. The 4 scenarios for the water quality improvement were applied to inflow streams and critical area from water pollution based on previous researches. The reduction efficiency of point and non-point sources in inflow streams was evaluated with each scenario. The results demonstrate that the expansion of advanced treatment system within wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and construction of pond-wetlands would be great effective management measures. In order to satisfactory the target water quality of reservoir, the measures which can control both point source and non-point source pollutants should be implemented in the watershed.

  • A typical industrial data - monitoring scheme often requires trend detection Trend detection can be accomplished in many ways. Common statistical methods are the sign test, the run test, and the trend test. Graphical methods include various smoothing schemes and the cusum. The cusum has established itself as an efficient method of detecting changes in the mean level of a process being monitored. The cusum requires a "target value" with which the raw data are compared. At production start - up it is often difficult to designate the target value. This paper offers a means of initiating the cusum technique without a target value.

NIIRS 추정을 위한 자연표적 기반의 에지분석기법 개발 (Development of a Natural Target-based Edge Analysis Method for NIIRS Estimation)

  • NIIRS(National Imagery Interpretability Rating Scale)는 영상의 판독력을 설명하는 품질 지표로 고해상도 위성영상의 품질을 나타내는데 널리 사용되어 왔다. 이는 MTF(Modulation Transfer Function), SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio), 또는 GSD(Ground Sampling Distance)와는 달리 객관적이고, 직관적으로 영상의 전반적인 품질을 설명할 수 있다는 점에서, 그 활용도가 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. NIIRS는 전문 판독가에 의해 육안으로 직접 측정되거나, 영상의 에지 분석(Edge analysis)을 통해 정확하게 추정할 수 있다. 일반적으로 에지 분석에는 품질 측정을 위해 특별히 제작된 인공의 표적이 사용된다. 이 인공표적의 일례로 특정 크기의 반사율 차이를 가지는 흑백 패턴의 천막 형태가 있으며, 이러한 인공표적은 인공위성의 촬영경로 상에 설치되어 진다. 이 때문에 인공표적을 이용하는 방식은 표적의 설치와 관련하여 많은 비용이 지출될 뿐 아니라, 수시로 수행될 수 없다는 문제점을 가지게 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 영상에서 쉽게 관측될 수 있는 자연표적들로부터 정확한 NIIRS 추정이 가능한 새로운 방식의 에지 분석법을 제안하였다. 이 방법은 임의의 성질을 가지는 자연표적의 특성을 반영하기 위해 알고리즘의 강인성이 강조되었으며, 다양한 실험들을 통해 성능이 평가되었다. 실험 결과는 제안 알고리즘이 기존 방식의 대안으로서 충분히 활용 가능함을 보여 주었다.

수도권 지역별 목표대기질 달성을 위한 오염배출 삭감율 산정 연구 (An Estimation of Emission Reduction Rates to Achieve the Target Air Quality in Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • This study was carried out to estimate the emission reduction rates for the regional allowable emissions by special measures to achieve the target air quality in Seoul Metropolitan Area (SMA). A modeling system was designed to validate the details in enforcement regulations set up by local governments based on the current status and plans for air quality improvement. Modeling system was composed of meteorological model (MM5), emission model (SMOKE), and air quality model (CMAQ). Predicted results by this system show quiet well not only daily air pollutants concentration but also the tendencies of wind direction, wind speed and temperature. To achieve the target air quality in Seoul Metropolitan Area (SMA), emission allowances are estimated by seasons and regions. Referring to the base year 2002, it was estimated that emission reduction rates to achieve the intermediate goal in 2007 were 14.2% and 16.6% for NOx and $PM_{10}$, respectively. It was also estimated that 52% of NOx and 48% of $PM_{10}$ reductions from the base year 2002 would be required to accomplish the air quality improvement goal of 22 ppb for $NO_2$, and $40mg/m^3$ for $PM_{10}$ in year 2014. To improve $NO_2$ and $PM_{10}$ concentration through emissions reduction policies, it was found that emissions reduction for the on-road mobile sources would be the most effective in SMA.

수질오염총량관리 대상물질 확대를 위한 한강수계 하천수질 경향 및 수질특성 분석 (Analysis of Water Qulity changes & Characterization at the Watershed in Han River Basin for Target indicator in TMDLs)

  • Based on the existing pollutant emissin standards which are armed at the pollutant concentration of each pollution source, government formulated and implemented new management system of total water pollutant emission. By virtue of this new management system, pollution loading amount of individual watershed could be controlled, which achieved the requirement of water quality management such as TP and BOD. In initiate stage of it's implement, BOD was selected as object of water quality management, While it's necessary to consider the continuity of water quality data and established pollutant management laws and policy. During the ongoing management, TP management was added into the system while simply BOD management was not enough. However, the frequency of algae bloom in Han-river showed a trend of same, even though TP was treated as additional control target. Therefore, this paper will analyze different water quality parameters and characteristic of water quality, so that this study can be provide as reference for watershed management of water quality, by which the applicable management period and target pollutant can be selected in the future.

  • The purpose of this study was evaluated on achievement of the Target water quality (TWQ) with Load Duration Curve (LDC) as well as materials collected through the implementation of Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL), targeting 41 unit watersheds in the Nakdong River Basin in korea, and examines the adequacy of the LDC method to evaluate the TWQ by comparing methods through current regulations. It aims to provide basic materials for TMDL development in Korea. This determination resulted from the fact that the measured data placed on the LDC mean that they are beyond TWQ in a certain condition of water flow when actually measured load values were displayed in a form of LDC. In addition to water quality surveys, it is considered that information on the level of damage in a water body by water flow grade can be utilized as a basic material to identify compliance with the total admitted quantity, and establish rational plans to improve water quality. This information helps in the identification of the degree of damage in water quality according to water flow.

  • This study modifies the present total maximum daily load (TMDL) system of Ministry of Environment and applies to the Anyangcheon watershed. Hydrologic Simulation Program-FORTRAN (HSPF) model is used to simulate both runoff and non-point source pollution, simultaneously, instead of QUAL2E. The drought flow (355th daily flow) is proposed for the target water quantity since it is easier to satisfy low flow (275th daily flow) for the target water quality than drought flow. The increase of discharge is more than the increase of pollutant load except for the period under low flow. The measured unit loads for non-point source are used to consider the regional runoff characteristics. The measured water quantity and quality data are used since the ministry of environment supports only water quality. This analysis results show some reasons for the improvement of the present TMDL system of Korea.

Fabrication of TiAl Target by Mechanical Alloying and Applications in Physical Vapour Deposition Coating

  • The research involves the development of a powder metallurgical route for producing good quality TiAl targets for making physical vapour deposition (PVD) coatings. Mixtures of elemental titanium and aluminium powders were mechanically milled using a novel discus milling technique under various conditions. Hot isotropic pressing (HIP) was then employed for consolidation of the mechanically alloyed powders. A cathodic arc vapour deposition process was applied to produce a TiAlN coating. Microstructural examination was conducted on the target material and PVD coatings, using X-ray diffractometry (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectrometry (XPS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It has been found that combining mechanical alloying and HIP enable us to produce fairly good quality of TiAl based target. The PVD coatings obtained from the TiAl target showed very high microhardness values.
