리액터 탭 절환에 의한 유도전동기의 기동 특성 (Starting Characterization of Induction Motor using Reactor Tap Change)

  • An induction motor is most widely used to obtain driving force in the industrial field. The induction motor is generated a high current at starting. A starting current is often more than five times of rated current. A high starting current can cause problems such as voltage drop in the power system. In order to solve these problems, a reactor starting method has been widely applied in a large motor capacity. There are differences in the operating characteristics of induction motor corresponding the switching time of reactor tap. In this study, I analyzed that current, torque, power of induction motor are different from changing time and tap setting values of reactor tap.

수돗물 신뢰도 향상을 위한 품질 인증 제도 도입 (Introduction of Water Quality Certification System for Confidence Improvement of Tap Water)

  • Many advanced treatment processes have been introduced to WTPs, however, the consumer confidence on tap water is still low and the percentage of drinking water directly from the tap is less than 2 %. One of the methods to improve the credibility of tap water is to introduce a drinking water certification system. By introducing the system, water treatment processes can be optimized, which in turn, can significantly improve drinking water quality. In this paper, 6 water quality parameters(i.e., turbidity, CT, residual chlorine, geosmin, 2-MIB, Mn) which have significant influences on tap water quality and consumer confidence were identified, and their recommended guidelines were proposed. 3-Star or 5-Star certification can be awarded to the WTPs which have met the certification criteria. The drinking water certification system can be carried out as a voluntary program among drinking water suppliers.

  • This paper explored the effectiveness of a hierarchical Treatment of Aphasic Perseveration (TAP) program on an aphasic in two regards: decrease in the frequency of perseveration and improvement in naming ability. The subject was a 54-year-old female with Transcortical Sensory (TCS) aphasia following a left ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA). It was concluded that the hierarchical TAP program was more effective and efficient in terms of decreasing perseveration and increasing correct naming performance. Within the data of the hierarchical TAP program, however, a substantial decrease in the frequency of occurrence of perseverative behaviors did not necessarily result in proportionate improvement of naming ability. The probable causes and reasons were discussed.

국내 수돗물의 부식성 특성 및 개선방안 (Characteristics and Improvement of Tap Water Corrosivity in Korea)

  • To investigate corrosivity characteristics of tap water in Korea, Langelier index (LI) of 30 multi-regional water treatment plants (WTPs) were evaluated. Weekly LI values of 30 WTPs were all negative, which means tap water in Korea might be very corrosive. Maximum LI decrease through water treatment processes was 0.95 under no additional corrosion control process. Based on the correlation results between LI and tap water qualities, pH and calcium concentration were confirmed as major parameters for LI control. Addition of calcium hydroxide with $CO_{2}$ or calcium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide can be chosen based on water quality. Continuous monitoring of LI and related parameters is recommended in water distribution system.

  • Change of supply voltage, customer load, output of distributed generation, etc cause voltage change in distribution system. OLTC and SVR are usually used to supply normal voltage at customer. But usage of these devices is inefficient and uneconomical in certain circumstances. To solve this problem, new pole transformer which has automatic tap changer is developed. The transformer changes tap when voltage changes. And it has latch switch and reactor for supplying power without outage. To verify normal operation of tap changer, test is conducted. SVR and 50kVA load is used for test.

  • The poor machinability material such as austenite stainless steel(STS304) is emphasized on the wide use of HSSE for the tapping operation. The difficulty can be entirely to tapping torque due to chip formation through the hole of tap. The object of this study is to investigate tap geometry affecting the tapping torque from a practical point of view. The study shows that the optima tapping torque is affected by the tap geometry and cutting condition for STS304.

  • JTAG 기반 SoC의 디버깅 성능향상을 위한 온 칩 디버깅 유닛(On-chip debugging unit)을 제안하였다. 제안된 디버깅 유닛은 JTAG 모듈, 코어브레이커로 구성된다. JTAG 모듈은 기존의 IEEE 1149.1 표준을 변형하여 효율적으로 설계하였다. SoC 시스템의 집적도가 높아질수록 1회의 디버깅 사이클을 실행하기 위한 반복적인 TAP 명령의 인가가 예상된다. 제안된 디버깅 유닛이 TAP 명령 인가과정의 불필요한 클럭 소모를 최소화하였다. 성능분석 결과 기존의 방식과 비교하여 14% 정도의 디버깅 성능의 증가를 보였고 TAP 컨트롤러 회로의 게이트 수는 50% 정도 감소하였다.

  • The ondol is a uniquely Korean system of providing warmth to room. The ondol rooms never use daily life furniture because the ondol warms the floor surface where people sit. Finally, the ondol floor changed the traditional housings inner space. Before use ondol where daily life furnitures[sang(상) and Tap(탑)] are installed in the room. The origin of daily life furnitures are the ancient tomb mural of Koguryo Period. The daily life furniture can be classified as three large groups in the ancient tomb mural of Koguryo. First, a single seat[Jowa-sang(좌상)] of set up a screen[병풍]. The second, It make possible Many peoples take a seat with no decoration seat[Tap(탑)]. The third, uptodately table and chairs. A radical difference between sang(상) and Tap(탑) whether set up a screen[병풍]. The meaning of sang(상) and Tap(탑) in Koguryo ancient tomb provided Oksa-jo[옥사조] in Samkuk-sagi[삼국사기] with several valuable leads to help solve the sang(상)'s meaning. Furthermore, It will be start ponit of study on constructive shape of inner space in those days.

대두의 수화속도에 미치는 침지온도의 영향 (Effect of Temperature on the Water Uptake during Soaking of Soybeans)

  • 대두를 tap water와 0.5% $NaHCO_3$ 용액에 침지시켜 수화속도에 미치는 침지온도의 영향에 대하여 실험하였다. 그 결과 침지온도가 높아 질수록 수화속도는 빠르고 세품종중 크기가 가장 작은 단엽이 tap water에 침지 할때나 0.5% $NaHCO_3$ 용액에 침지 할때도 모두 빨랐다. Arrhenius식을 사용하여 수화에 따르는 활성화 에너지를 계산하였고 일정 수분 함량에 도달하는데 필요한 시간과 침지온도와의 관계를 z값으로 나타내었을때 대두의 수화도가 증가 할수록 tap water에 침지할때나 0.5% $NaHCO_3$ 용액에 침지 할때도 z값이 감소하는 경향을 보였다.

  • 종래부터 CATV 및 MATV 시스템에서 신호전송용으로 널리 사용되고 있는 Tap-off는 단지 경험직+실험적으로 제작되러 왔으며, 이론적인 해석이나 엄밀한 설계법이 확립되어 있지 않았기 때문에 그 성능에 있어서도 대역폭이 좁거나 분기특성이 나쁜 문제점이 있었다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 원형의 약결합형 신호분기기에 보조변성기가 부가된 변형된 약결합형 신호분기기들 제안하여 설계의 자유도를 높임으로써 대단히 조밀한 결합간격의 회로구성이 가능함을 밝히고, 또한 이들에 대한 이론적 주파수특성을 계산하여 신험치와 비교함으로써 제안한 설계법의 타당성을 확인하였다.
