  • CBTC(Communication Based Train Control) System can improve train operation efficiency by realizing moving block system which makes a continuous train interval control in accordance with the position and speed of train. Adopting radio transmission to make a continuous detection of train position and transmit the control data from the ground to a train, CBTC needs dedicated train operation and control algorithm which should be quite different from the conventional track-circuit-based train control system. This paper provides a train operation display and control algorithm for CBTC system in making train interval control, train route control and train supervision. Signalling pattern diagram is devised to analyze the train interval control mechanism of moving block system, and interlocking logic is devised to represent the train route control mechanism of moving block system. For train supervision, train occupation status on railway are displayed by using the segment which virtually divide the whole railway. The proposed method has been successfully applied to the development of CBTC system for the standardized AGT(automatic guided transit) which is under construction now in Korea, and also can be applied to any other CBTC system.

  • The 50 kWp grid connected photovoltaic system which was installed at KEPRI site in 1999 has been operated more than 10 years. In order to acquire long term operation characteristics of medium size photovoltaic system, the operation test data related on power generation electricity and capacity factor of 50 kWp system, which have been collected since 1999, were analysed. From the analysing results, 57.7 MWh in annual power generation electricity of 50 kWp photovoltaic system in 1999 has been decreased 49.1 MWh in 2005 and reached 41.9 MWh in 2008. In addition to, the capacity factor of 50 kWp photovoltaic system also showed 13.2 % in 1999, 11.2% in 2005 and finally reached 9.6% in 2008. The operation test data showed a trend of decreasing of generation electricity and capacity factor during the 10 years operation time and we guessed that was caused by solar cell performance degradation and decreasing of PCS system efficiency.

  • This paper proposes the components of the energy management system (EMS) for optimum operation of renewable energy and associated energy storage system (ESS), the functions to be considered in designing, the analysis of operational effects, and finally the reduction of electricity costs. To accomplish the objectives, a lithium-ion battery system and an energy management system have installed in a PV system, and it presents the results analyzed with operation data for a year. To increase the system operation efficiency, we propose the effect that EMS is used to replace the demand power at the peak time with the charge power at the light load time, which suggests the influence of contributing to the charge benefit and load leveling according to the ESS tariff.

  • The purpose of this study is to present an evaluation model to measure the clarification level of stakeholder requirements of public sector software projects in the Republic of Korea. We tried to grasp the quality of proposal request through evaluation model. It also examines the impact of the level of stakeholder requirements on the level of system requirements. To do this, we analyzed existing research models and related standards related to business requirements and stakeholder requirements, and constructed evaluation models for the system operation concept documents in the ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148. The system operation concept document is a document prepared by organizing the requirements of stakeholders in the organization and sharing the intention of the organization. The evaluation model proposed in this study focuses on evaluating whether the contents related to the system operation concept are faithfully written in the request for proposal. The evaluation items consisted of three items: 'organization status', 'desired changes', and 'operational constraints'. The sample extracted 217 RFPs in the national procurement system. As a result of the analysis, the evaluation model proved to be valid and the internal consistency was maintained. The level of system operation concept was very low, and it was also found to affect the quality of system requirements. It is more important to clearly write stakeholders' requirements than the functional requirements. we propose a news classification methods for sentiment analysis that is effective for bankruptcy prediction model.

  • Recently, the development of the information communication industry has made many changes in the industrial acoustic industry. Especially, it has a great influence on the change of system and equipment of acoustic system. Analog equipment is changing to digital equipment, and integrated control equipment makes it easier to operate and manage the sound system. However, the integrated control system currently on the market is only controllable for some devices. In this paper, we propose a new AoIP - based system configuration method, which enables the operation status monitoring, unmanned operation and self - diagnosis of equipment. As a result of the study, it is confirmed that the proposed system can be operated, monitored, and self - diagnosed at remote sites. It is expected that an AoIP- based sound system will be the industry standard in the future.

  • In this paper, the on-line system schemes for coordinated control system of multiple FACTS were presented to enhance the voltage stability around the metropolitan areas. In order to coordinated control system of FACTS devices, MFC on-line system calculates the optimal set point(Vref, Qrev) of FACTS devices using the coordinated control algorithm with real time network data which is transferred from SCADA/EMS system. If the system is unstable after contingencies, the new operation set-point of FACTS would be determined using bus sensitivity from tangent vector at voltage instability point. Otherwise, we would determine the new operation set-point of FACTS for considering economical operation, like as active power loss minimization using Optimal Power Flow algorithm. As the test, MFC(Multiple FACTS Coordinated control) on-line system will be installed in Korea power system.

  • This study examines the background and necessity of the product certification (KS) and the system authentication (ISO 9000), and their characteristic so as to compare and analyze the possibility of interaction of product certification and system authentication. It tries to suggest an efficient operation system as an integrated management system and analyzes the certification case of K, a manufacturer of kitchen utensils. We believe that the study will help companies minimize their expenses and efforts to establish, operate, and maintain the corporate standard system. In addition, to effectively achieve our goal, we have also made a study of both literature and case and suggested technical guidance to get integrated management system certification. By these methods, we analyzed the effects and problems that come with the introduction and application of the integrated system of product certification and system authentication in order to set up a system to fit to the mechanism of Korean companies. Moreover, we have suggested the model of integrated operation and the benefits that come after acquiring certification.

  • KORAIL has been established by 1st January 2005. From organization change to KORAIL(Korea railroad Corporation), labour union and company management team has been argument for their train crews and drivers operation system. For example, train crew and driver working conditions; working hours per week, off day and duty day time, over night time working payment, current position payment, preparation time, company own lodge operation and so on. I assure that this comparison study for train crew and driver operation between KORAIL and EWS will helps to improve other korean railway companies management efficiency. In conclusion, EWS has 4$\sim$6 times more efficient employee for active operation than KORAIL per 1 freight brock-train operation. EWS has very resonable train crews and driver operation system, and self-control regulation for employee and management team with trusty. This thesis propose that korean railway companies and their own labour unions need joint research and benchmarking other oversea railway companies as like EWS.
