Cryptand resins were synthesized by mixing 1-aza-18-crown-6 macrocyclic ligand with styrene divinylbenzene copolymer having 1%, 2%, 5%, and 10% crosslink by a substitution reaction. These synthetic resins were confirmed by chlorine content, elementary analysis, SEM, surface area, and IR-spectrum. As the results of the effects of pH, crosslink of synthetic resin, and dielectric constant of a solvent on uranium ion adsorption for resin adsorbent, the uranium ion showed high adsorption at pH 3 or over. Adsorption selectivity for the resin in methanol solvent was the order of uranium ($UO_2{^{2+}}$) > calcium ($Ca^{2+}$) > neodymium ($Nd^{3+}$) ion, adsorbability of the uranium ion was the crosslink in order of 1%, 2%, 5%, and 10% and it was increased with the lower dielectric constant.

A study on the test method and the test facilities of synthetic capacitive current tests have been very slight and the direct test method with the short-circuit generator and power transformer only used up to now. However, according to the development of analysis technique of power system and design and manufacture technique we are realized that direct testing method is not satisfactory to evaluate the performance of circuit-breaker because it is difficult to simulate precisely the conditions of power system. Therefore, in order to solve these problem this paper deals with the tests methods and the design technique of the tests facilities of the synthetic capacitive current based on the same theory with the synthetic short-circuit tests.

This study investigates the general problems in classifying materials by and related to Shakespeare in the university libraries and suggests a new analytico-synthetic system based on the analysis on the related classes on the major classification systems including DDC, LCC, CC, etc. and other studies and hompages In the area or Shakespeare study. New system consists of four facets, and Its facet formula is “generalities + form + works + language,” each of which includes Its own foci.
The galactolipid M-5, which showed anti-inflammatory activity is glycoglycerolipid isolated from the Okinawa marine sponge Phyllospongia foliascens. Glycolipids have been synthesized by various methods, especially it were generally known that synthetic method of M-5 analogue and synthetic method of various glycolipids by glycosidation after synthesis of glycerolipid part. The others, it was not suggested that synthetic method via glycosylglycerol obtained by degradation from diglycoside. This study was carried out to investigate the synthesis of galactosylglycerol from melibiose as M-5 intermediate. Synthesis of galactosylglycerol was accomplished by selective protection of hydroxy group of sugar and diol cleavage by Pb(OAc)$_4$. As a result, galactosylglycerol was synthesized by 8 steps pathway and their structures were elucidated by analysis instrument.

Human sensibility is assessed by measuring and analyzing various physiological signals in an objective way, or by analyzing adjectives chosen by the subjects in a subjective way. The present study aims at developing an integrated human sensibility assessment system that measures changes in a person's objective and subjective sensibility in real-time and analyzes them in an integrative way. The present system is composed of a real-time subjective sensibility assessment system, an automatic subjective sensibility assessment system and a real-time physiological signal measurement and analysis system for sensibility assessment, which are separated from one another. It can be utilized individually, or can be combined as a synthetic sensibility assessment system for comprehensive sensibility assessment.
1-Aza-12-crown-4 macrocyclic ligand was combined with styrene (2th petroleum in 4th class hazardous materials) divinylbenzene copolymer having 1%, 2%, 3%, and 6% crosslinks by a substitution reaction, in order to synthesize resin. These synthetic resins were confirmed by chlorine content, elementary analysis and IR-spectrum. As the results of the effects of pH, equilibrium arrival time, crosslink of synthetic resin, and dielectric constant of a solvent on uranium ion adsorption for resin adsorbent, the uranium ion showed high adsorption at pH 3 or over and adsorption equilibrium of uranium ion was about 2 hours. In addition, adsorption selectivity for the resin in methanol solvent was the order of uranium ($UO_2{^{2+}}$) > iron ($Fe^{3+}$) > lutetium ($Lu^{3+}$) ions, adsorbability of the uranium ion was in the crosslinks order of 1%, 2%, 3%, and 6% was increased with the lower dielectric constant.
Eutylone, dibutylone, and dimethylone are potential psychotropic designer drugs. The purpose of this study was to investigate the in vitro metabolic pathways of synthetic cathinones with methylenedioxy groups. The three methylenedioxy derivatives were incubated with human liver microsomes. The metabolites were characterized based on liquid chromatography and quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry. Eutylone, dibutylone, and dimethylone were metabolized to yield three, six, and four metabolites, respectively. Reduction and demethylenation were the major metabolic pathways for all three drugs tested. However, dibutylone and dimethylone showed an additional metabolite generated via N-oxidation. These results provide evidence for the in vivo metabolism of methylenedioxy synthetic cathinones, and could be applied to the analysis of synthetic cathinones and their relevant metabolites in biological samples.
Synthetic data generation is generally used in performance evaluation and function tests in data-intensive applications, as well as in various areas of data analytics, such as privacy-preserving data publishing (PPDP) and statistical disclosure limit/control. A significant amount of research has been conducted on tools and languages for data generation. However, existing tools and languages have been developed for specific purposes and are unsuitable for other domains. In this article, we propose a regular expression-based data generation language (DGL) for flexible big data generation. To achieve a general-purpose and powerful DGL, we enhanced the standard regular expressions to support the data domain, type/format inference, sequence and random generation, probability distributions, and resource reference. To efficiently implement the proposed language, we propose caching techniques for both the intermediate and database queries. We evaluated the proposed improvement experimentally.
This paper deals with the WASPIFA (Web-based Assistant System for Protein-protein Interaction and Function Analysis) system that can provide the comprehensive information on Protein-protein interaction and function concerned with function analysis. Different from existing systems for protein function and protein-protein interaction analysis, which provide fragmentary information restricted to specific field, our system furnishes end-user with comprehensive and synthetic information on the input sequence to be analyzed, including function and annotation information, domain information, and interaction relationship information. The synthetic information that our system contains as local databases has been extracted from many resources related to function, annotation, motif and domain by various pre-processing. Employing our system, end-users can evaluate and judge the synthetic results to do protein interaction and function analysis effectively. In addition, the WASPIFA system is equipped with automatic system management and data update function that facilitates system manager to maintain and manage it efficiently.

Growing demand and rapid development of the synthetic fiber rope in mooring system have taken place since it has been used in deep water platform lately. Unlike a chain mooring, synthetic fiber rope composed of lightweight materials such as Polyester(polyethylene terephthalate), HMPE(high modulus polyethylene) and Aramid(aromatic polyamide). Non-linear stiffness and another failure mode are distinct characteristics of synthetic fiber rope when compared to mooring chain. When these ropes are exposed to environmental load for a long time, the length of rope will be increased permanently. This is called 'the creep phenomenon'. Due to the phenomenon, The initial characteristics of mooring systems would be changed because the length and stiffness of the rope have been changed as time goes on. The changed characteristics of fiber rope cause different mooring tension and vessel offset compared to the initial design condition. Commercial mooring analysis software that widely used in industries is unable to take into account this phenomenon automatically. Even though the American Petroleum Institute (API) or other classification rules present some standard or criteria with respect to length and stiffness of a mooring line, simulation guide considers the mechanical properties that is not mentioned in such rules. In this paper, the effect of creep phenomenon in the fiber rope mooring system under specific environment condition is investigated. Desiged mooring system for a Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit(MODU) with HMPE rope which has the highest creep is analyzed in a time domain in order to investigate the effects creep phenomenon to vessel offset and mooring tension. We have developed a new procedure to an analysis of mooring system reflecting the creep phenomenon and it is validated through a time domain simulation using non-linear mooring analysis software, OrcaFlex. The result shows that the creep phenomenon should be considered in analysis procedure because it affects the length and stiffness of synthetic fiber rope in case of high water temperature and permanent mooring system.
