  • This paper describes the information for quantitative simulation of weakly ionized plasma. We must grasp the meaning of the plasma state condition to utilize engineering application and to understand materials of plasma state. In this paper, the drift velocity of electron in Xenon gas calculated for range of E/N values from 0.01~500[Td] at the temperature is $300[^{\circ}K]$ and pressure is 1[Torr], using a set of electron collision cross sections determined by the authors and the values of drift velocity of electrons are obtained for TOF, PT, SST sampling method of Backward Prolongation by two term approximation Boltzmann equation method. it has also been used to predict swarm parameter using the values of cross section as input. The result of Boltzmann equation, the drift velocity of electrons, has been compared with experimental data by L. S. Frost and A. V. Phelps for a range of E/N. The swarm parameter from the study are expected to server as a critical test of current theories of low energy scattering by atoms and molecules.

The scope of the study focuses on the structural features, advantages and disadvantages, and military application cases of fixed-wing, rotary-wing, hybrid, and swarm drones. It also discusses the development direction of drone technology, changes in military strategy, opportunities, and challenges. The results show that each type of drone plays a crucial role in various military operations such as reconnaissance, surveillance, strike, logistics, search, and rescue. With advancements in artificial intelligence, autonomous flight, and swarm technologies, the range of drone applications is expected to expand further. However, ensuring the safety and ethics of drone operations and establishing international norms have emerged as major challenges.

  • In weapon assignment studies to defend against threats such as ballistic missiles and long range artillery, threat assessment was partially lacking in analysis of various threat attributes, and considering the threat characteristics of warheads, which are difficult to judge in the early flight stages, it is very important to apply more reliable optimal solutions than approximate solution using LP model, Meta heuristics Genetic Algorithm, Tabu search and Particle swarm optimization etc. Our studies suggest Generic Rule based threat evaluation and weapon assignment algorithm in the basis of various attributes of threats. First job of studies analyzes information on Various attributes such as the type of target, Flight trajectory and flight time, range and intercept altitude of the intercept system, etc. Second job of studies propose Rule based threat evaluation and weapon assignment algorithm were applied to obtain a more reliable solution by reflection the importance of the interception system. It analyzes ballistic missiles and long-range artillery was assigned to multiple intercept system by real time threat assessment reflecting various threat information. The results of this study are provided reliable solution for Weapon Assignment problem as well as considered to be applicable to establishing a missile and long range artillery defense system.

  • Energy distribution function for electrons in $SF_6$-Ar mixtures gas used by MCS-BEq algorithm has been analysed over the E/N range $30\sim300$[Td] by a two term Boltzmann equation and by a Monte Carlo Simulation using a set of electron cross sections determined by other authors, experimentally the electron swarm parameters for 0.2[%] and 0.5[%] $SF_6$-Ar mixtures were measured by time-of-flight(TOF) method. The results show that the deduced electron drift velocities, the electron ionization or attachment coefficients, longitudinal and transverse diffusion coefficients and mean energy agree reasonably well with theoretical for a rang of E/N values. The transport coefficients for electrons in (0.2[%])$SF_6$-Ar and (0.5[%]$SF_6$ - Ar mixtures were measured by time-of-flight method, and the electron energy distribution function and the parameters of the velocity and the diffusion were determined by the variation of the collision cross-sections with energy. The results obtained from Boltzmann equation method and Monte Carlo simulation have been compared with present and previously obtained data and respective set of electron collision cross sections of the molecules.

  • Drones have been widely used in various fields due to the rapid development of done-related technologies, which causes various problems. The schemes which can track target drones by using signal transmitted by target drones have been investigated as a key technology for anti-drone systems to solve these problems. In this paper, we investigate an illegal drone tracking system based on swarming flight that consists of multiple small drones in order to resolve the limitations of a conventional system that consists of a single drone. In addition, we also propose a scheme with which we can adaptively adjust the separation distance between small drones in a swarm according to channel situations. We analyzed the performance of the proposed scheme in terms of success ratio and the number of movements. The proposed scheme can improve the success ratio and the number of movements by 170% and 63% respectively, compared to the conventional scheme.
