전도성 고분자를 Buffer층으로 사용한 유기 발광 소자의 제작과 특성 연구 (Characteristics of organic electroluminescent devices using conducting polymer materials with buffer layers)

  • Electroluminescent(EL) devices based on organic thin films have attracted lots of interests in large-area light-emitting display. One of the problems of such device is a lifetime, where a degradation of the cell is possibly due to an organic layer's thickness, morphology and interface with electrode. In this study, light-emitting organic electroluminescent devices were fabricated using Alq$_3$(8-hydroxyquinolinate aluminum) and TPD(N,N'-diphenyl-N,N'-bis(3-methylphenyl)-[1-1'-biphenyl]-4,4'-diamine).Where Alq$_3$ is an electron-transport and emissive layer, TPD is a hole-transport layer. The cell structure is ITO/TPD/Alq$_3$/Al and the cell is fabricated by vacuum evaporation method. In a measurement of current-voltage characteristics, we obtained a turn-on voltage at about 9 V. And we used other buffer layer of PPy(Polypyrrole) with ITO/PPy/TPD/Alq$_3$/Al structure. We observed a surface morphology by AFM(Atomic Force Microscopy), UV/visible absorption spectrum, and PL(Photoluminescence) spectrum. We obtained the UV/visible absorption peak at 358nm in TPD and at 359nm in Alq$_3$, and at 225nm and the PL peaks at 410nm in TPD and at 510nm in Alq$_3$ and at 350nm. We also studied EL spectrum in the cell structure of ITO/TPD/Alq$_3$/Al and ITO/PPy/TPD/Alq$_3$/Al and we observed the EL spectrum peak at 510nm from our cell

Hot-filament 화학기상 증착법으로 성장시킨 성장온도에 따른 탄소나노튜브의 성장 및 특성 (Effect of growth temperature on the growth and properties of carbon-nanotube prepared by Hot-filamnet PECVD method)

  • 탄소나노튜브는 nm급의 크기에 높은 전기전도도, 열전도 효율, 감한 기계적 강도 등의 장점을 가지며, FED(Field Emission Display), 극미세 전자 스위칭 소자, SET(Single Electron Transistor), AFM(Atomic Force Microscope) tip등 여러 분야로의 응용을 연구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 탄소나노튜브를 Si 웨이퍼 위에 Ni/Ti 금속층을 촉매층으로 사용하고, 암모니아($NH_3$)가스와 아세틸렌 ($C_2H_2$)가스를 각각 희석가스와 성장원으로 사용하여 합성하였다. 탄소나노튜브의 성장은 Hot filament 화학기상증측(HFPECVD) 방식을 사용하였으며, 이 방법은 다량의 합성, 높은 균일성, 좋은 정렬 특성등의 장점을 가진다. 성장 온도는 탄소나노튜브의 성장 특성을 변화시키는 중요한 요소이다. 성장 온도에 따라 수직적 성장, 성장 밀도등의 특성 변화를 관찰하였다. 성장된 탄소나노튜브층 성분 분석은 에너지 분산형 X-선 측정기(EDS)를 통해 관찰하였고, 끝단에 촉매층이 존재하는 30~50 nm 폭을 가진 다중벽 탄소나노튜브를 고배율 투과전자현미경(HRTEM) 분석을 통해 관찰하였다. 전계방사 주사전자현미경(FESEM) 분석을 동해 1~3${\mu}m$의 길이를 가진 탄소나노튜브가 높은 밀도로 성장된 것을 확인하였다.

시대 변천에 따른 속옷에 관한 연구(II) -중세 남성 속옷을 중심으로- (A Study on the Underclothes by the Changes of Ages -Focused on Men′s Underclothes in Medieval-)

  • This is a study on the change of the Medievalmen's underclothes. Underclothing includes all such articles, worn by either sex, as were completely or mainly concealed from the spectator by the external costume. Throughout the Middle Ages, the underclothing of both sexes possessed characteristic inherited from earlier times. Its function was purely utilitarian. It was not used to express class distinction and only very indirectly to enhance sex attraction. The idea of underclothes was associated with the idea of the body's sinfulness. Underclothes could also symbolize the discipline of humility. To appear clad only in underclothes was a voluntary form of selfabasement often practised by pilgrims. The notion that underclothes might express the spirit of the changing times, in sympathy with the outer clothing, did not enter the medieval mind. The length of the shirt was less than that of the modern garment, especially after the middle of the fourteenth century. The sleeves were somewhat full, without cuffs, and cut straight. During the second half of the twelfth century, when braies become definitely an undergarment. In the fourteenth century braies became shorter and shorter and the shirt could no longer be tucked in but hung outside over the thighs. After 1340 the costume on the surface somewhat resembling modern 'tights', began to reveal display the shape of the male leg as a form of sex attraction. By the close of the Middle Ages, braies had become less like loincloths, and more like modern bathing trunks. The peasant and laborer did not attempt to keep pace with the changes of fashion but, continued, as a rule, to wear the long braies of their forefathers. The higher ranks how this garment reflected the changes of the mode of outer costumes.

디스플레이용 ITO 전극의 동작 압력에 따른 특성 연구 (A Study of Characteristic based on Working Pressure of ITO Electrode for Display)

  • 본 논문에서는 투명 전극용 ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) 박막의 성막 조건을 알아내기 위하여 DC(Direct Current) 마그네트론 스퍼터를 사용해 증착된 ITO 박막의 특성을 분석하였다. 실험 조건은 1~3[mTorr] 분위기압으로 조절하고 인가전압은 260~330[V]로 10[V]씩 스텝을 주어 실험을 진행하였다. 증착된 박막의 투과율, 굴절률 및 표면과 단면 형상을 자외선-가시광선 분광광도계, 타원편광분석기와 주사전자현미경으로 측정하였다. ITO 성막 조건 1~2[mTorr] 분위기압에서 300[V] 정도의 전압이 투과율이 90[%] 이상으로 우수하고 굴절률이 2이상 이였다. 따라서 높은 투명 전도성 전극을 만들기에 적절한 조건임을 확인하였다.

손목보조기가 키보드 타이핑작업 시 상지근육 피로도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Cock-up Splinting on Upper Extremity Muscle Fatigue During Keyboard Typing)

  • With the introduction of the video display terminal (VDT), the efficiency and productivity of work has improved. However, VDT syndrome is threatening the health of workers as a side effect of prolonged use of a VDT. Among various VDT syndromes, the musculoskeletal disorder, especially, the cumulative trauma disorder (CTD) is the common research topic related with upper extremities function. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of the wrist-hand orthosis (WHO) on fatigue in middle deltoid, anterior deltoid, serratus anterior, and upper trapezius during one-hour computer keyboard typing. Twelve healthy subjects participated in this study. Surface electromyography was used to assess the localized muscle fatigue (LMF), and the LMF was calculated at 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 40 minutes, and 60 minutes in each muscle, with and without the WHO. Data were analyzed by paired t-test with a level of significance of .05. The results of this study are as follows: 1) At 10 minutes, the LMF decreased significantly with applied WHO in the middle deltoid, anterior deltoid, and upper trapezius (p=.001, p=.026, p=.019, respectively). 2) As the computer keyboard typing period increased, there were no significant LMF differences, except for the upper trapezius. Therefore, it can be concluded that the WHO can be applied to decrease the LMF for the initial 10 minute period in the middle deltoid, anterior deltoid, and upper trapezius' but that the long term effect of WHO in reducing the LMF was proven only in upper trapezius during continued computer keyboard typing.

  • The improvement of luminance and luminous efficiency is the one of the most important parts in AC-PDPs. To achieve high luminance and luminous efficiency, high VUV emission efficiency is needed. We measured the emission spectra of the vacuum ultraviolet(VUV) rays in surface discharge AC-PDP with ternary gas mixture of He-Ne-Xe. The influence of He-Ne-Xe gas-mixture ratio on excited $Xe^{\ast}$ resonant atoms and $Xe_2\;^{\ast}$ dimers has been investigated. It is found that luminous efficiency of ternary gas mixture, He-Ne-Xe, is shown to be much higher than that of binary gas mixture of Ne-Xe. For improving discharge luminous efficiency, we have studied VUV emission characteristics of ternary gas mixture, He(50%)-Ne-Xe and He(70%)-Ne-Xe with Xe concentration and filling gas pressure.

  • The improvement of luminance and luminous efficiency is the one of the most important part in AC-PDPs. To achieve high luminance and luminous efficiency, high VUV emission efficiency is needed. We measured the emission spectra of vacuum ultraviolet(VUV) and infrared(IR) rays in surface discharge AC-PDP with Ne-Xe mixture gas. The influence of Ne-Xe gas-mixture ratio on resonance state $Xe^{\ast}(3P_{1})$ and exited state $Xe^{\ast}(3P_{2})$ has been investigated. It is found that the intensity of VUV 147nm emission is proportional to that of the IR 828 nm emission, and the VUV 173nm emission is roughly proportional to that of the IR 823nm emission. The electron temperature and plasma density have been experimentally measured from the center of sustaining electrode gap by a micro Langmuir probe in AC-PDPs. The plasma density from the center of sustaining electrode gap are shown to be maximum value of $9{\times}10^{11}cm^{-3}$, where the electron temperature is about 1.6 eV in this experiment

  • 최근의 VR 기술을 애니메이션 영역에 적용하는 것은 필연적인 추세로 보여진다. 이러한 VR 기술을 기존의 수묵애니메이션에 활용하면 평면적인 예술 작품이 새로운 서사방식과 시청각 언어를 갖추어 새로운 애니메이션 장르로 갖추게 될 것으로 보인다. 하지만 새로 개발하는 것이 아닌 기존의 평면적인 수묵 이미지를 360도 화면에 배치하기 위해서는 기술적으로 많은 어려움이 존재하는데 기존에 제작된 수묵 애니메이션의 배경 수묵 이미지에서 거리의 깊이에 따른 레이어 추출과 360도 공간에 이들을 깊이에 따른 곡면에 배치를 통해 VR 공간에 깊이감을 부여하는 VR수묵 애니메이션을 제작해 보려하였다. 본문에서는 기존의 수묵화 이미지에서 원경, 근경, 중경 레이어를 추출하는 과정에서 발생하는 문제점을 살펴보고 이를 해결하기 위한 접근 방법들을 찾아보고 제시해보려 하였다.

반도체 패키징용 에폭시 기반 접합 소재 및 공정 기술 동향 (Epoxy-based Interconnection Materials and Process Technology Trends for Semiconductor Packaging)

  • Since the 1960s, semiconductor packaging technology has developed into electrical joining techniques using lead frames or C4 bumps using tin-lead solder compositions based on traditional reflow processes. To meet the demands of a highly integrated semiconductor device, high reliability, high productivity, and an eco-friendly simplified process, packaging technology was required to use new materials and processes such as lead-free solder, epoxy-based non cleaning interconnection material, and laser based high-speed processes. For next generation semiconductor packaging, the study status of two epoxy-based interconnection materials such as fluxing and hybrid underfills along with a laser-assisted bonding process were introduced for fine pitch semiconductor applications. The fluxing underfill is a solvent-free and non-washing epoxy-based material, which combines the underfill role and fluxing function of the Surface Mounting Technology (SMT) process. The hybrid underfill is a mixture of the above fluxing underfill and lead-free solder powder. For low-heat-resistant substrate applications such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and high productivity, laser-assisted bonding technology is introduced with two epoxy-based underfill materials. Fluxing and hybrid underfills as next-generation semiconductor packaging materials along with laser-assisted bonding as a new process are expected to play an active role in next-generation large displays and Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) markets.

레이저스펙클 간섭법과 4단계 위상이동법에 의한 외팔보 점용접부의 면외 변위측정 (Measurement of Out-of-plane Displacement in a Spot Welded Canti-levered Plate using Laser Speckle Interferometry with 4-step Phase Shifting Technique)

  • Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry (ESPI) has been recently developed and widely used because it has advantage to be able to measure surface deformations of engineering components and materials in industrial areas with non-contact. The speckle patterns to be formed with interference and scattering phenomena can measure not only out-of-plane but also in-plane deformations, together with the use of digital image equipment to process the informations included in the speckle patterns and to display consequent interferogram on a computer monitor. In this study, the experimental results of a canti-levered plate using ESPI were compared with those obtained from the simple beam theory. The ESPI results of the canti-levered plate analyzed by 4-step phase shifting method are close to the theoretical expectation. Also, out-of-plane displacements of a spot welded cacti-levered plate were measured by ESPI with 4-step phase shifting technique. The phase map of the spot welded cacti-levered plate is quite different from that of the canti-levered plate without spot welding.
