In this paper, we use case studies to analyze the supporting programs of policy funds for Korean and Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs). It is found that supporting firms are suitable to the excluded companies from financial institutions and excellent corporate credit rating. It is also shown that subordinated loan program as well as loan limit can be enlarged policy funds with priming water of private funds. Moreover, it shows that credit guarantee funding has a positively significant influence on long-term funding facility. Therefore, this findings can improve the complementary relationship between policy funds and financial institutions.

This paper proposes several alternative government financial supporting policy on IT-related small and medium sized enterprises. First, this paper considers reforming factors relating to current financial supporting policy and studies foreign government supporting loan programs through benchmarking so as to derive alternative financing supporting policy. Secondly, this paper analyses several investment supporting policies on IT-related small and medium sized enterprises. Finally, new Korean government financial supporting policy on IT-related small and medium sized enterprises is collectively diagnosed by putting comprehensive analyses together in this paper.

This study investigates the relationship between related loan, ownership concentration and real estate firm performance. The data was collected from 35 real estate firms listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2007 to 2012. Related loans are viewed from the angle of related lending and loan. Related lending and loan is measured by the related lending on total lending ratio and related loan on total loan ratio. Firm performance is measured by the asset turnover ratio and return on assets ratio. Ownership concentration is measured by the right cash flow. The data analysis was done with regression analysis and panel data. The results of the study found that related loans had a positive effect on sales but had no effect on profits. This supports the efficient transaction hypothesis. On the other hand, related lending has a positive effect on profits that supports opportunistic transactions. Ownership concentration moderates the effect of related loan on company's performance. The related lending are beneficial for mutually supporting activities in the real estate sector business group in Indonesia, but related loans have the potential to be used in tunneling activities. The paper contributes to the related party transaction in benefits-risks of related lending and related loan in uncertainty context.

The object of this paper is to review the fisheries subsidies of the major FFG(Fish Friends Group) which argue the elimination and the phasing-out, to compare with Korea's subsidies category and provide the basic information for planning of fisheries subsidies policy and the negotiation strategy in the future. The result from the comparative analysis of the subsidies between the major FFG showed that WWF(World Wildlife Fund) fisheries subsidies categories, with the exception of Marketing and Price Support Program which is similar to Korea in terms of the supporting type and methods, differ from those of Korea. Also, The unique type of WWF Fisheries Subsidies, which is beyond Korea's subsidies, are Direct Payment for Fishermen and Fishery Wokers, Capital ＆ Infrastructure Support, Fishery Management and Protection, etc. In case of capital support and fisheries fuel, the payment method or other institutional backgrounds is somewhat different from each nation. On the base of this analysis, this paper is suggesting the direction of the Korea's Fisheries subsidies policy as follows ; First, developing new policy methods and supporting ways such as Direct Payment for Fisherman is needed. Second, Converting fisheries subsidies category expected to be classified to Red Amber into another type of non-negative subsidies should be carried out, demonstrating that these kinds of subsidies give no negative effect to the environment and the trade, Third, Reviewing the categorize system of Korea's subsidies and revising it according to international trends is necessary as well. In respect to WTO/DDA, the watchful analysis of Korea's fisheries program must be preceding in ahead of making the negotiation strategy. And Korea firstly need to stress the fact that, while the major FFG can directly pay for fisheries section, other nations have no choice but supporting in preferential tax or loan manner. Using this kind of strategy, it is may enlarge the negotiating power in the WTO/DDA to reflect fully Korea's position.

This paper is aimed to study on sales promotion strategies for the increment of farm income by cultivating Boxthron in Chongyang Area. Marketing Survey was done in Chongyang Boxthron market, Kyoung-dong herb market in Seoul. The results are as follows ; Reviewing the Boxthron market prices, the price of direct transaction was the highest one and that of Agricultural Cooperatives was next one, Chongyang market price was lowest one. Therefore, the efforts including exclusive labeling, high class packing strategies of Boxthron with lower pollution would be necessary. The seasonal variation Boxthron prices were lowest in Aug.-Sept., harvesting season, and highest in april-june prices, off-crop season. Farmers have sold 45% of all products in Aug.-Oct. at lowest price and the remaining 15% of that sold in april-june at the highest prices. On account of the above reasons, loan for Boxthron production, government purchasing and storage program of it especially in harvesting season from Aug. to Oct. should be adopted to increase Boxthron producer income. Finally, the strategies for sales promotion, enforcement of government supporting activities including export strategies and the development of new processed products of Boxthron should be propelled considering the products cycle.

This study aims to suggest the ways to reinforce academic library's research support services for professors and researchers in Korea. For this purpose, this study collected the development plans of academic libraries in Korea, and analysed the plans for supporting research activities, and also analysed each library's homepage. And this research classified the research support services of academic libraries into eight types for further analysis. The types are 'subject guide', 'academic information literacy', 'research analysis service', 'research consulting', 'research ethics education', 'thesis writing guide', 'bibliography management program', 'interlibrary loan·original text copy'. As a result, it is shown that the most libraries emphasized 'custom-tailored user education' and marked it on development plan. As subsequent plans, libraries provided the action plans of 'expansion of scholarly DB instruction on each subject', 'expansion of custom-tailored research support services', 'construction of research support service system' one after another. This study suggests 'activation of subject guide service', 'expansion of academic information literacy programs for supporting research', 'introduction of research performance analysis services', and 'support for establishment of research ethics' as ways to strengthen academic libraries' research support services.
