수술 후 보조적 항암화학요법을 받는 대장암 환자의 일상영양관리 순응도에 대한 질적 연구 (Qualitative Study of Compliance with Nutritional Management in Colorectal Cancer Patient Undergoing Chemotherapy)

  • Objectives: The nutritional status of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy is closely related to the compliance of nutrition education. However, as chemotherapy is conducted repeatedly, compliance with nutrition management is lowered, leading to malnutrition. Malnutrition is related directly to the quality of life after surgery in cancer patients. Therefore, this study examined the factors related to compliance with nutrition management during chemotherapy. Methods: In this study, five subjects with colorectal cancer undergoing adjuvant chemotherapy were interviewed in-depth using the Giorgi study method. The contents of the nutrition education visits and in-depth interviews were transcribed in the language of the subject after recording, and the appropriateness of the data was improved by reflecting the subject's actions and facial expressions. Results: After conducting the in-depth interviews for each subject, the experience of the subject's diet and adjuvant chemotherapy was drawn into two domains, six elements, and 26 sub-elements. In the cognitive domain, the patients experienced physical and psychological changes, and the need for nutrition management was recognized by analyzing the dietary causes of the diseases. In the domain of practice, a knowing-doing gap was formed, unlike the patient's will. Factors that inhibited compliance with nutritional management included digestive problems, sensory changes, loss of appetite, and social interaction stress. Conclusions: Dietary management is very important for patients receiving periodic anticancer therapy, and step-by-step training and personal monitoring based on the chemotherapy order is necessary to maintain the patient's will and social and environmental support.

소규모 학급의 환경 체험 학습을 위한 학습 유형화와 그 교육 과정 (The Learning Styles and Curriculum for Environmental Experience-Based Learning in Classroom of the Small Scale)

  • The purpose of this study is to enhance elementary students' awareness of environment-friendly life and help them to prepare for a better life in the future. To achieve this purpose we examined the effect typical environmental experience-based learning activities, which were based on the local circumstances with high environmental-educational potential, have on the attitudes toward environment-friendly life. This study was carried out on the basis of typical environmental experience-based learning in the small class size. The research group used was composed of one sixth grade elementary school class called Sangroksu, whose total students were 9. The research period lasted from March 2005 to February 2006. To analyze the result of this study, two research methods were applied simultaneously : quantitative research methods and qualitative research methods. Especially statistical analysis in quantitative research methods by self-administrated questionnaire was done with SAS program. Qualitative research methods were analyzed in a cyclic pattern, including the processes of domain analysis, classification analysis, and factor analysis which continued to be associated with data-collecting methods. This research shows the following results. First of all, students have shown meaningful differences after typical environmental experience-based learning activities.(p<.05). Followings are fields of the differences - students‘ interest on the subject, their understanding levels of necessity for basic environmental facilities around us as well as for the kinds of environmental experience-based learning, awareness levels of various environmental problems, consciousness on environment conservation, and the practicing ability of environment - friendly lifestyles. Secondly, We have discovered improvements in the following fields after this study - the knowledge and understanding levels on our environment and human relationships, students' fundamental abilities to work out environmental problems, right ideas and appropriate attitudes on environment protection, the practicing ability of environment-friendly life styles, and their parents' understanding levels on the education related to environment. In conclusion, typical environmental experience-based learning activities have a positive effect on the improvement of elementary school students' environment-friendly life styles.

  • 주지하듯이, 환경 교육은 시대적으로 요구되는 절실한 문제이다. 특히, 학교 수업을 통한 환경교육은 학교에 취학하는 모든 학생들이 의무적으로 교육을 받게 된다는 점에서 광범위한 영향을 끼칠 수 있으며, 또한 환경 및 생태계에 대한 기본 개념이 형성되는 시기가 초등학교 과정이라는 점에서 교육적인 중요성을 갖고 있다. 그러나 초등교육에서는 '환경'이 독립된 교과목으로 설정되어 있지 않고 각 교과 교육과정에서 부분적으로 언급되고 있을 뿐이어서, 총체적이고 구체적인 접근보다는 대부분 단편적인 각론에 그치고 있는 형편이다. 따라서 현재 우리 사회에서 발생되는 환경문제에 관한 다양한 기존의 학문적 접근과 논의를 기초로 하여, 시대적으로 요구되는 지속가능 발전을 위한 초등학교 환경교육 방향을 모색해 보고, 그 적용 가능성을 탐구하는 것은 의미 있는 작업이 될 것이다. 환경의 개발과 보존 간의 조화를 강조하는 지속가능 발전 개념은 미래 세대의 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 능력을 위태롭게 하지 않고 현 세대의 욕구를 충족시키는 발전이라는 의미를 갖는 것으로, 개발과 보존이라는 측면에서 경제적인 개발보다는 환경 보존이 우선적으로 고려되어야 한다는 점을 언표하고 있다. 따라서 지속가능한 발전을 위한 환경 교육의 주요 관건은 '생명존중과 자연보존'이라는 가치관의 문제에 있으며, 이러한 올바른 가치관은 교육을 통하여 함양된다.

Modern Paradigm of Organization of the Management Mechanism by Innovative Development in Higher Education Institutions

  • The development of the education system and the labor market today requires new conditions for unification and functioning, the introduction of an innovative culture in the field of Education. The construction of modern management of innovative development of a higher education institution requires consideration of the existing theoretical, methodological and practical planes on which its formation is based. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the modern paradigm of organizing the mechanism of managing the innovative development of higher education institutions. Innovation in education is represented not only by the final product of applying novelty in educational and managerial processes in order to qualitatively improve the subject and objects of management and obtain economic, social, scientific, technical, environmental and other effects, but also by the procedure for their constant updating. The classification of innovations in education is presented. Despite the positive developments in the development of Education, numerous problems remain in this area, which is discussed in the article. The concept of innovative development of higher education institutions is described, which defines the prerequisites, goals, principles, tasks and mechanisms of university development for a long-term period and should be based on the following principles: scientific, flexible, efficient and comprehensive. The role of the motivational component of the mechanism of innovative development of higher education institutions is clarified, which allows at the strategic level to create an innovative culture and motivation of innovative activity of each individual, to make a choice of rational directions for solving problems, at the tactical level - to form motives for innovative activity in the most effective directions, at the operational level - to monitor the formation of a system of motives and incentives, to adjust the directions of motivation. The necessity of the functional component of the mechanism, which consists in determining a set of steps and management decisions aimed at achieving certain goals of innovative development of higher education institutions, is proved. The monitoring component of the mechanism is aimed at developing a special system for collecting, processing, storing and distributing information about the stages of development of higher education institutions, prediction based on the objective data on the dynamics and main trends of its development, and elaboration of recommendations.

STSE 프로그램을 활용한 수업이 환경친화적 태도 및 학습 동기에 미치는 효과 (The Effects on Environment-Friendly Attitudes and Learning Motivation using Science-Technology-Society-Environment Program)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of forth grades in elementary the environmental-friendly attitude by STSE in elementary lesson. To verify research problem, the subject of this study were forth-grade students selected from two classes of an elementary school located in Ulsan. Post-test showed following results: the research group showed a significant improvement in the environment-friendly attitude of cognitive domain and behavior domain compared with the comparison group. In conclusion, STSE program was more effective than the teacher map based teaching model on environment-friendly attitude. However, since the study has a limit on an objet of the study and the applied curriculum, the additional studies need to be conducted with an extended comparative group and curriculum.

Analysis of Plant Species in Elementary School Textbooks in South Korea

  • Background and objective: This study was conducted to find out the status of plant utilization in the current textbooks by analyzing the plants by grade and subject in the national textbooks for all elementary school grades in the 2015 revised curriculum in Korea. Methods: The data collected was analyzed using Microsoft Office Excel to obtain the frequency and ratio of collected plant data and SPSS for Windows 26.0 to determine learning content areas by grade and the R program was used to visualize the learning content areas. Results: A total of 232 species of plants were presented 1,047 times in the national textbooks. Based on an analysis of the plants presented by grade, the species that continued to increase in the lower grades tended to decrease in the fifth and sixth grades, the upper grades of elementary school. As for the number and frequency of plant species by subject, Korean Language had the highest number and frequency of plant species. The types of presentation of plants in textbooks were mainly text, followed by illustrations and photos of plants, which were largely used in first grade textbooks. In addition, as for the area of learning contents in which plants are used, in the lower grades, plants were used in the linguistic domain, and in the upper grades, in the botanical and environmental domains of the natural sciences. Herbaceous plants were presented more than woody plants, and according to an analysis of the plants based on the classification of crops, horticultural crops were presented the most, followed by food crops. Out of horticultural crops, flowering plants were found the most diversity with 63 species, but the plants that appeared most frequently were fruit trees that are commonly encountered in real life. Conclusion: As a result of this study, various plant species were included in elementary school textbooks, but most of them were horticultural crops encountered in real life depending on their use. Nevertheless, plant species with high frequency have continued a similar trend of frequency from the previous curriculums. Therefore, in the next curriculum, plant learning materials should be reflected according to social changes and students' preference for plants.

기업윤리의 교육과 연구를 위한 5가지 주제들 (5 Topics for Education and Research in Business Ethics)

  • 최근 들어 기업윤리의 중요성이 국내와 국외에서 크게 대두되고 있음에도 불구하고, 국내외에서 이뤄지는 기업윤리의 연구와 교육은 매우 미흡하다. 국내 4년제 대학교에서 정식 과목으로 기업윤리를 개설해 가르치는 곳이 아직까지 매우 적으며, 기업윤리에 관한 연구 역시 부족하다. 대학교에서 정식 과목으로 기업윤리를 개설해 가르치더라도 사례를 중심으로 진행하는 단순한 토론형태의 수업에 머무르고 있고, 기업윤리에 관한 연구 또한 기업의 사회적 책임에 편중됨으로써 기업윤리에서 다루어야 할 많은 주제들을 외면하고 오로지 기업의 사회적 책임만을 집중적으로 탐구하는 흐름으로 이뤄지고 있다. 이와 같은 문제의식에서 출발한 본 논문은 질적 연구의 방법을 사용해 기업윤리에서 꼭 다루어야 할 5가지 주제인 직원의 권리, 직원의 책임, 환경에 대한 책임, 다양성과 차별, 그리고 다국적 기업과 세계화를 제시하였고, 각 주제와 관련된 최신문헌들을 고찰함으로써, 각 주제와 관련된 교육과 연구를 위한 방향들을 제시하였다. 구체적으로, 5가지 주제와 관련해서 학생들에게 반드시 교육이 이루어져야 할 내용을 논의하였고, 향후에 반드시 이뤄져야 할 연구의 방향들을 제시하였다. 즉, 본 논문은 기업윤리의 5가지 주제들을 제시하고 각 주제에 필요한 교육과 연구의 방향들을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구를 이론적 근거로 하여 향후 각 주제들에 대한 다양한 후속 연구들이 가능할 것이다.

과학교육에서 융복합 교육에 대한 교사의 인식과 경험 탐색 - 과학교사 포커스 그룹 논의를 중심으로 (Exploring Teachers' Perceptions and Experiences of Convergence Education in Science Education : Based on Focus Group Interviews with Science Teachers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학교 과학교육에서 융복합 교육의 실제적인 의미와 수행 방식을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 과학 교사들의 포커스 그룹 면담법을 이용하였으며, 과학교육의 관점으로부터 교육적 목적과 내용을 통합하는 방식에 대한 과학 교사들의 인식과 실제적인 지식을 도출하였다. 4명의 과학 교사들을 대상으로 한 2차의 포커스 그룹 면담에서는 융복합 교육의 개념, 가능성, 수행, 체계적 지원 등에 대한 내용이 질문되고 논의되었다. 면담의 결과는 질적으로 분석되었으며, 융복합 교육에 대한 교사들의 인식을 다섯 가지 주요 주제로 구분하여 주요 범주로 사용하였다. 이들은 1) 관련 개념과 근거, 2) 내용, 방법 및 평가, 3) 융복합 교육에 적합한 과학교과의 특성, 4) 융복합 교육을 수행하는 데 필요한 교사의 인식과 전문성과 5) 이들을 가능하게 하기 위한 환경적 조건 등이었다. 이로부터 융복합교육을 수행하고 미래 사회를 위해 과학교육을 재정향하는 것과 관련된 개념적이고 실제적인 쟁점들을 논의하였다.

2015 개정 교육과정 중학교 기술·가정 교과서의 핵심개념 '관계' 단원에 구현된 교과역량 분석 (Analyses of Subject Competencies of the Units Related to Core Concept 'Relation' in Middle School Technology-Home Economics Textbooks based on 2015 Revised Curriculum)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 교과역량 '실천적문제해결능력'과 '관계형성능력'의 분석준거를 설정하고 2015 개정 중학교 기술·가정교과서의 핵심개념 '관계' 관련 단원을 분석준거에 따라 분석하는 데 있다. 12종 출판사의 중학교 '기술·가정 2' 교과서의 핵심개념 '관계' 관련 단원에서 활동과제를 중심으로 개발된 분석 준거에 따라 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교과서에 구현된 교과역량이 출판사별로 차이가 많았다. '실천적문제해결능력'은 A교과서, E교과서와 G교과서가 높게 나타났고 반면 D교과서의 빈도가 가장 낮았다. '관계형성능력'은 K교과서, A교과서가 높게 나타났고 가장 낮은 빈도를 보인 것은 J교과서였다. 둘째, '실천적문제해결능력'과 '관계형성능력'의 역량별 하위요소 중심으로 12종 교과서 전체의 활동과제들을 살펴보면, 우선 '실천적문제해결능력'의 가치판단이 가장 높은 빈도를 보였고 이어서 논리적 사고, 실천적 추론, 의사결정 등으로 나타났다. '관계형성능력'에서는 가족관계와 공동체의식이 가장 높은 빈도로 나타났고 의사소통, 갈등관리, 타인존중 등의 순으로 나타났지만, 환경 및 생태의식은 구현되지 않았다. 이와 같이 2015 개정 중학교 기술·가정 12종 교과서의 핵심개념 '관계' 관련 단원은 교육과정의 세부목표에서 제시된 두 교과역량을 대체로 구현하고 있다.

Meta-Analysis of Cognitive and Affective Effects of Arduino-Based Educational Programs

  • This study aims to summarize the effects of Arduino-based educational programs through a meta-analysis. Eleven eligible primary studies were obtained through a systematic literature review and coded accordingly. The results are as follows: The meta-analysis revealed that the overall effect size for all the studies was 0.518. Analysis of the moderator variables indicated statistically significant differences between them. Regarding the learning domains, the results were ranked in descending order of the cognitive and affective domains. Within the cognitive domain, the effect sizes were ranked in descending order as follows: logical thinking, content knowledge, convergence competency, self-efficacy, computational thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. In terms of subject areas, the descending order of effect sizes was agriculture, STEAM, environmental science, practical arts, artificial intelligence, informatics, and computers. Regarding school level, the results were ranked in the following descending order: college, elementary school, middle school, and high school.
