Failure, the research object, means situations when goals and their results are different, which has developed presenting various aspects from ancient times and modern times. Failure is a complex concept which essentially requires judgement, and also a relative concept which can be changed depending on how you set up time base and standard. There are four stages for failure study to have been developed from studying failure through historical facts to the approach of organizational theory and it has been studied by looking at the failure of an organization according to different categories such as a developmental stage, a type of business, a period and a course. Compared with success science, failure study has not been studied sufficiently and also the level of its analysis is low. Thus, since lessons of failure tend to repeat themselves instead of being didactically accumulated, there need more studies on this. This thesis identified the main cause of the failure through various studies regarding failure which have been conducted at home and abroad. What the main cause of the failure that more than three studies mentioned have in common was that it occurred because organizations concentrated on the inside without communicating with external environment. The key point of failure study is to analyze failure, utilize it as assets, and create a frame of failure management. This thesis focused on delivering fragmentary knowledge on failure study, but case studies regarding this subject should be done in the future.

The purpose of this study is to examine aspects of education, social activity, and sense of values in new women, categorizing the clothing habits into hair style, new modes and accessories on the basis of those. and to find out the influences of new women's attirement on clothing habit of general women, centering of 「Beol Geon Gon」 which made its first appearance in November 1926 and issued till June, 1934. First, new education became good opportunity to face and adopt new style of clothes. The school uniform of western style worn under the education system operated missionaries and clothes of returning students from studying abroad became a chance for general people to meet western clothes. Second, various style of western clothing was shown by enlargement of social activity area of new women. In the educational world and active careers such as doctor, journalist. women's libber, convenient clothing was required. The appearance of airwoman and driver showed trends that women's clothing was changing similar to men's clothing. Third, even general women started to adopt western clothes not to be old-fashioned as being threatened and weakened by the vision about marriage and love among new women, and participated in the trends.

The first step towards rearing children to become healthy leaders of the next generation should be taken by the mothers the CEOs of families who possess exemplary leadership skills. To examine the current status of the leadership of mothers, this paper first selects leaders-domestic and abroad-across all areas by studying various sources. Then focusing on the cases in which the mothers played a positive influence in bringing up their children, this paper examines concrete practical strategies of such successful leadership. The case study classifies the leadership, which requires soft power to change the world, into four types: self assurance, creative reform, communication and empowerment. The subjects to these studies are Kwak Nak-Won, the mother of Kim Gu, Gu Maeng Gyuck, the mother of Mencius, Grace Welch, the mother of Jack Welch, and Yoo Hyun Gyung, the mother of Kim Jin-Ho. The paper examines the leadership capacity of each of these figures. This paper concludes that when mothers exercise positive leadership and the child naturally experiences the synergy effect with the mother, he or she naturally becomes a charismatic social leader.

In response to the recent decline in the school-age population, universities have made attracting foreign students a major policy task for universities. As a result, the number of foreign students increased rapidly in terms of quantity, but in terms of quality, the risk is inevitable. Accordingly, the government presented education and internationalization competency certification system indicators on the basis of which quality control of students was systematized. Based on the above certification system, this study focused on analyzing the multiple factors that are actually given to the academic adaptation (performance) of the 2200 students who entered a certain university. In addition, factors other than the certification system index were discovered to comprehensively track how they affect the academic performance of students studying abroad. The researcher found the multi-reciprocal model analysis showed that the difference between the learner and the moderator was significant, and whether or not they had the Korean proficiency test (TOPIK) was significant. It also said that it could have a direct impact on Chinese University Entrance Exams (高考) are significant. If a model that is very effective in selecting students is established by each university and used as an indicator through this study, it will serve as a basis for efficient selection of students.

The authors of this study tried to explore the current status of the levels of information literacy of foreign students in Korea where many foreign students, mainly from several Asian countries, have been moving continuously into various universities. To do this, a survey was conducted of 202 Chinese students enrolled in universities in Busan and its neighboring area. They responed that their level of information literacy was slightly above the middle range and that the fields of 'information ethics' and 'information communication technology' were relatively high whereas 'information production, communication and sharing' and 'information investigation and search' were relatively low.

Clothing as one of elements of culture has been interwoven with cultural diffusion, and accompanied the most visible change. In this paper, it was focused that the process and the characteristics of western clothing adop-tion of Korea from 1876 to 1945 corelating with cultural diffusion theory. They were analyzed through the change of clothing reformation system by government, school uniform, and social phenomenon. The finding of this paper were as followings; 1. The process of western clothing adoption was forcibly demanded by Japan, therefore influenced by Japan. 2. The clothing reformation which was forced to accept western style was confronted by complex of cultural, psychological and economical resistance. 3. The fashion leaders of this period were Korean students studying abroad, diplomatic officials, members of the armed forces, government officials, students of western educational systemed school, and lady of evangelist. 4. Man adopted western clothing earlier than woman. 5. Western clothing adoption was took precedence in case of formal wear, diplomatic official's attire, military uniform, and school uniform. 6. In this process, we can find 'transculturation' by Malinowski and 'reinter-pretation' by Herskovits. 7. This process was a kind of 'reorientaion'. 8. The change of clothing which was affected by the tradition, for example, robe for the ancestral rites was evolutionary than others. 9. Clothing elements based on mental or internal characteristics like which clothing was hardly changed by compulsion or extortion. 10. The external trends of clothing change during this period were simplicity, utility, and decrease of status symbols.

Fashion trend is more than a social phenomenon that multitudes of people accept as popular styles of clothing. The purpose of this study was to understand the influence of fashion trend over time and distance. Geographically thousands of miles apart, the U.S. has strongly influenced fashion in Korea, revealed by references and historic depictions collected from literature and web sites. Results of the study are summarized as five issues: First, emergence of female missionaries from the U.S. American missionaries working in the late Great Korean Empire performed a significant role importing Western culture to Korea. Second, as opportunities of education increased, women studying abroad introduced Western fashion to Koreans when they returned to Korea. They were more open to Western culture than other Koreans and moderately harmonized their Korean sentiment and Western culture, mitigating cultural shock and enabled other Koreans to accept Western culture. Third, the effect of fashionistas on media. Singers working for U.S. armies stationed in Korea and movie stars appearing in Hollywood movies profoundly affected Korean pop culture and fashion trends in Korea. Fourth, following First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy of the U.S. She was an influential figure in those days and a fashion leader as well. Lastly, acceptance of working girl fashion depicted in American television shows. American working girls depicted on American TV shows were highly admired by young Korean women, so the fashion of American working girls became a major fad among young Korean women.

The purpose of this paper is to study the historical background of the development of bibliography in the Sam-Kug Period. In the Sam-Kug Period, Bibliographic civilization was due to be invented the character. The invention of script was the revolution in communication and education. It is the acceptance of confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism to be influenced by the Bibliogaphy's development in this period. So it has produced a large number of student studying abroad and mission. And they were able to collect lots of books in China. It was various the way that they collected the materials. During one's stay in China as a student, they asked them give the books, or bought it at government expense. Their primary responsibility was to study and collect the classical canon, the Buddhist Sutras etc. Majority of the collected materials were classical canon and the Buddhist Sutras. And it was first copied by calligrapher and printed with the wood-block. Example, Dharani Sutra was found in the second story of Sokkatap pagoda of Pulguksa Temple in 1966. It was put inside the Pagoda when it was built in 751(in the 10th year of king Kyong-Duk). This is the worldwide cultural property of which we are proud. The collected books were annotated by learned priests and confucian scholars. An annotation of the sacred books were based on the Buddhist civilization, the art of printing and the development of bibliography. But we are unha n.0, ppy that it was reduced to ashes lots of the temples and the materials by the effect of war or fire.

College students frequently feel their grammar knowledge from primary and middle school is not useful when they are asked to speak in college conversation classes. Because of their frustration at their lack of communicational ability as well as inappropriate teaching methods and class textbooks that have little to do with the student's major course of study, the student often has a low motivation to study. It is not uncommon for students to seek English education outside of their college classrooms by going to language institutes or studying abroad. College teachers need to find a way to use the student's background in grammar from primary and secondary schools. Despite the student's sentiment about his/her grammar education, grammar is an essential key to successful English conversation. Some ways that teachers can close the gap between primary and secondary school grammar education and college conversation classes are: to use a theme-based methodology, cue cards, and modeling. Activities such as Grammar Clinic, Grammar Police, and Show and Tell can be effective ways to bridge this gap. Teachers can use these activities and methods to correct such student errors as: incorrect word order, missing or unnecessary be verbs, confusion between be and do verbs, subject-verb agreement. and incorrect tense.

The purpose of this research is for confirming that fashion study has to do with industry through the developing of fashion goods which is related to a trend as a cultural code. Recently fashion design trend is focused on 'retro', 'Retro' is the one of the important trends in this century not only fashion but also cultural industry, Therefore, in this research, the processing about development of decorative vest design as fashion goods was showed by using retro image. For this process, research steps were as follows : 1. Confirming the meaning of 'retro fashion'. 2. Studying about the flow of retro fashion from 1960s to 1990s. 3, Finding the characteristics of retro fashion design and the image through abroad and domestic collections from 2000 to 2003. 4. Designing and making vest using new concept from the leading images. Through this processed, it was find that retro fashion design had three images : vintage image, ethnic image and romantic image. Then three vests were made by a concept 'a piece of handicraft' using handcraft technique such as beading, patch-work, fringing, scratching, stitching, mixing which were used in retro fashion design characteristics.
