일부지역 치위생(학)과 학생의 영어 관심도와 불안도에 대한 인식 (The recognition on English interests and anxiety in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives : The purpose of the study is to investigate the influencing factors on English interest and anxiety in dental hygiene students. Methods : A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 1,040 dental hygiene students in six universities in Busan and Gyeongnam from April 1 to 30, 2013. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics, foreign language performance anxiety scale, and English interest. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regressions. Results : Those who travelled abroad tended to have a liking for English. English credits significantly influenced on English interest. and employment. The period of English study was proportional to interest and grade of English. Conclusions : The interest and anxiety for English was the major factor to improve the mastery of English. The dental hygienists must try to improve the mastery of language proficiency.

대학생의 환경의식 태도에 따른 사회적지지 추구와 의류제품 소비행동 (Social Support Pursuit and Apparel Consumption Behavior by the Environment Awareness Attitudes of University Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to classify the environmental awareness attitudes of university students and analyze their differences in social support pursuit, and apparel consumption behavior. Questionnaires were administered to 236 college students living in Daegu City and Kyoungbuk province. Frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan-test, and t-test were used for data analysis. The findings were as follows. The environmental awareness attitudes had factors as recognizing the importance of environmental issues, purchase of eco-friendly products, public opinion legislation awareness, interests on eco-friendly product, and eco-friendly practice. Social support pursuit were found as marginal people support pursuit, emotional support pursuit, informational support pursuit, and problem-solving support pursuit. Apparel consumption behavior were found as planned purchase, social participation attitude, clothes recycling, life practice, low-price orientation, emphasis on designs, clothing-life practice, and consciousness over others. The environmental awareness attitudes of university students were classified into four groups of Consumers of Environment-Awareness, Consumers of Environment-interests, Consumers of Environment-practice, and Consumers of Low Environment-awareness. The groups showed significant difference in social support pursuit, and apparel consumption behavior. Gender of university students showed significant differences the environmental awareness attitudes, social support pursuit, and apparel consumption behavior. It is meaningful to find out the significant relationship in a social context between environment recognition and social support pursuit related by friends. This study also offered a basic information related to social support pursuit by the types of university students' environmental awareness attitude and consumption on clothing, which is necessary for environmental education and green consuming behavior.

  • 지식 정보화 시대에서 컴퓨터는 단순한 작업을 하는 도구에서 학습에 적극 활용하는 교육 도구로 급속히 파급되었으며, 컴퓨터를 활용한 e-Learning 은 시공간을 초월한 학습, 표준화된 콘텐츠 보급과 관리, 학습자와 멘토링, 즉각적인 피드백, 역동적인 학습형태를 이루어 낼 수 있는 장점이 있어 여러 교육 분야에 활용되고 있다. <중략> 본 연구를 위하여 중학교 교사 150명과 학생 460명을 대상으로 e-Learning의 개념, e-Learning 운영, e-Learning 에 대한 설문조사를 하였다. 연구결과, 교사와 학습자간에 e-Learning 개념에 대한 인식은 유사한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 원인으로는 e-Learning에 대해 직${\cdot}$간접적으로 경험을 해본 교사들과 학생들이 많은 것으로 분석된다. <중략> 본 연구에서 도출된 연구결과에 의하여 향후 효과적인 중학교 e-Learning 활성화를 위한 방향을 제시하였다.

인터넷 자원기반 문제중심학습이 초등학생의 과학과 학업성취도 및 과학에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Internet Resource-Based Problem-Based Learning on the Academic Achievement in Science and the Attitude toward Science of Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of internet resource-based problem-based learning on the academic achievement in science and the attitude toward science of elementary school students. One experiment class and one control class of grade 6 students were selected to perform a prior investigation on the academic achievement in science and the attitude toward science, then the experiment class attended 4 weeks of lessons that was applied the internet resource-based problem-based learning, and the control class attended the traditional lessons based on the guidelines of teachers. After conducting lessons, a post investigation was performed for each class and the results were analyzed to produce the following conclusions. First, the internet resource-based problem-based learning could be seen to be effective in improving the students' academic achievements in science. The internet resource-based problem-based learning seemed to make students recognize the lesson details better and grasp well the questions given during lessons from the process of finding solutions among many informations and data on the internet. Second, the internet resource-based problem-based learning had a positive effect on all attitudes' areas toward science of students. It looked like that the internet resource-based problem-based learning taught the students to use the internet resources and gave them a friendly feeling, so the children could actively participate in class and had positive recognition on science. Third, from teacher observation and the result of the student recognition investigation, we could know that the students showed lots of interests in the internet resource-based problem-based learning, and they were able to understand the scientific theories in the process of solving problems that were relevant to real life, and thought science in a positive way.

한양방 협진에 대한 한의대생들의 인식도 (A Study on the Recognition of Students of Oriental Medical School on Cooperative System between Oriental and Western Medicine)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the recognition of the student of oriental medical school on cooperative system between Oriental and Western medicine and to provide basic information for the development of oriental medicine. In order to look at the level of recognition on cooperative system between Oriental and Western medicine, from September 1st to 15th of 2005, this study had been conducted through personal interview and questionnaires to 600 students who were attending the Department of Oriental Medicine (in both prep and regular courses) in D University, located in the City of Daegu. The data has been analyzed using statistic program, the SPSS WIN 12.0. Statistical analysis tools used for this study were frequency analysis, cross-over analysis and the t-test. The results are as follows; The students of oriental medical school had relatively high level of recognition on the basic concept, interests, necessity and potential for cooperative system between Oriental and Western medicine. However, they had negative understandings on the issue of unification of the two medical systems and it's possibility in the future. The students were optimistic about possible merits of cooperative system between Oriental and Western medicine, especially in the field of rehabilitation. On the reasons for lack of development of cooperative system between Oriental and Western medicine, the students listed prejudices existing on both sides firstly, followed by their contrasting approach on human illness, lack of legal and institutional support system, the indifferences of doctors and indifferences of oriental medical doctors. In addition, students understood that the dualism existing in our current medical system is aggravating mutual distrust between the two sides, causing the confusion of patients on the choice of medical facilities, and raising their medical bills. Therefore, in order to vitalize collaboration between Oriental and Western medicine in new health care environment, the following measures should be needed decreasing the prejudices between the two medical spheres with open mind improving educational programs in Western and Oriental medical schools; promoting joint academic research or exchange programs between the schools, and increasing government effort to minimize legal and institutional restrictions cooperative system between Oriental and Western medicine.

PBL수업에서 교육과정 편성 과제에 대한 동기 설계가 학습자의 교과흥미와 과제난이도 인식에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Motivational Design on Curriculum Organization Tasks on Learners' Subjects Interest and Task Difficulty Recognition in PBL)

  • 본 연구는 PBL(Problem Based Learning) 수업에서 학생들에 수행하는 과제에 켈러의 ARCS에 의해 동기설계를 반영하였을 때, 학습자의 교과흥미와 과제난이도 인식 수준에 미치는 영향을 탐색하기 위해서 수행되었다. 이를 위해서 일반교직을 전공하는 대학생 79명을 대상으로 수행되었다. 연구를 위해서 실험집단과 비교집단을 구성하였다. 교과 흥미와 과제난이도 인식 수준의 사전 수준을 측정하기 위해 1차 PBL 과제를 수행하였다. 다음으로 동기 설계가 반영된 과제의 영향을 검증하기 위해 2차 PBL 활동 수행하였다. 실험집단은 동기설계가 반영된 과제를 수행하였고, 비교집단은 동기설계가 반영이 되지 않은 과제를 수행하였다. 2차 PBL 활동이 종료된 후에 교과흥미와 과제난이도 인식 수준을 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 사전 수준을 공변량으로 선정하여 ANCOVA를 사용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과 실험집단의 교과흥미 수준이 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었고, 과제난이도 인식 수준은 통계적으로 유의미하게 낮아진 것으로 검증되었다.

가정교과 학습을 통한 남중생의 가정생활에 대한 인식 및 태도에 관한 조사연구

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of Home Economics learning on the recognition and attitude of middle school boy’s home life and to suggest the basic materials for the development of the Home Economics education through students’opinion of Home Economics. For this purpose, a survey was conducted in Cheong-ju area using questionaire. The subjects were 487 boys who studied Home Economics (HE group)and 480 boys who studied Technique (T group) in middle school. The statistics used for data analysis were t-test and x$^2$-test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The recognition and attitude to home life on the general characteristics of home life; In urban area, the interests in bealth and the role of the consumers were higher than those of rural areas-on the bases of the standard of life, the middle class students had a higher interest in nutrition and food habits, the students whose father were engaged in special job had a higher interest in health and nutrition. 2. The difference of the recognition and attitude between HE & groups; In the field of food life, HE’s knowledge about the six nutrients and the basic food groups and attitude toward buying food were higher than T’s. In the field of family life and resources, HE and T accepted the importance of family life and the role of home as important, hoped to get psychological relax from home and to take the right sexual education. In the field of clothes life, HE and T had the general tendency to have their clothes in proper manner and to select their clothes for themselves, but HE took a higher interest in clothes mending and the role of clothes. 3. The opinions on Home Economics; HE answered that Home Economics was useful to them (more than 90% of HE) and that 57.1% of HE were interested in Home Economics. The order of interest among three fields were as follows: food life, clothes life, family life and resources. 71.9% of T hoped to take Home Economics course.

과학 탐구 능력 향상을 위한 과학 그리기 프로그램 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Science Drawing Program to Improve Science Process Skills)

  • The purpose of this study is developing a Science Drawing Program to improve Science Process Skills and examining the effect of it. For this study two classes (missed classes with boys and girls) of 3th grade students participated and the subject of the instruction was domain of Air and Weather. The result of this study were as follows: First, the Science Drawing Program was effective in improving the science process skills. Development and Application of the Science Drawing Program brought positive effects especially on the observation, measurement, reasoning power. Second, student showed positive recognition on the Science Drawing Program. Many students showed interests and want to use it in class. And they thought Drawing Program helpful in their learning. Therefore the Science Drawing Program is very effective method in science education.

  • 최근 초등학생을 대상으로 프로그래밍 교육을 실시함에 있어 로봇을 이용한 로봇프로그래밍 교육을 제시하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 로봇프로그래밍 교수전략에 있어서 여학생들의 성향을 고려하지 않는 학습내용의 선정과 교수전략으로 인해 여학생들의 수업 참여도가 낮게 나타나고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 초등학생을 대상으로 설문을 통해 남녀의 로봇프로그래밍에 대한 관심 영역의 차이를 알아보고, 문헌 연구를 통해 컴퓨터 학습과 프로그래밍 학습에서 나타난 남녀의 차이와 효과적인 교수전략에 대해 분석한 후 성별의 차이를 고려한 로봇프로그래밍 교수전략을 제시하였다. 제시된 교수전략은 전문가 검증을 통해 타당성을 검증받았다. 본 논문을 통해 컴퓨터 분야에 보다 많은 여성의 첨여를 유도하는데 작은 밑바탕이 되기를 기대한다.

임해도시 실업계 고등학교 학생의 해양환경에 대한 관심과 개선방안 (Concern and Improvement of the Ocean Environment by Vocational High School Students in a Seaside City)

  • The purpose of this study is to prepare the way for the prevention and improvement of the ocean environment pollution and destruction by researching and analyzing the degree of interests in the ocean environment which the students of seaside vocational high schools have. The concerns of this study are as follows: 1. The vocational high school students in the seaside cities of Busan and Pohang have recognized that the ocean is the object of the highest potential of development and that through the degree of their recognition that they should better preserve the ocean environment prior to a high degree of local seaside development. 2. Although they have recognized that the ocean environment has a great influence on the life of people, their interests in the environment is low. Also, it is shown that they get their knowledge and information through TV. 3. They've understood that the main factor of ocean contamination concerns the home and the causes of ocean contamination are sewage and waste material from daily life. Moreover, their answers reveal that they believe that they should participate in a sanitization activity for the ocean environment voluntarily and put trash into nearby trash cans as opposed to inconsiderately throwing away trash on the beach. 4. Their answers also show that they recognize the elements that can best preserve the ocean environment start at home and with government, and school services through experience activities are the most effective for the education of the ocean environment.
